@smmael Personally as a Wildlife Biology student, hunting is a legitimate way of controlling the population, not to mention wild hogs do much more harm to the environment than you think. They are a problem animal and hunting them like this for food is a lot more human than poisoning them or other extermination methods.

Tube pulled the origonal vid... we had a trailer full of hogs... no small arms to dispatch.. didnt want to fire into a group in the trailer so I pulled that one out to do it safely... sucks all my vids are getting restricted..

The cause over 500 million $ in damages to crops and land in Texas alone, EVERY YEAR! Howevr, I have stalked them with a knife, gotten into traps unarmed with them, and they have CUTTERS! Big sharp knives. I know what you are saying about feeders. I thought the same when I first moved here. I'm from Maine, NO baiting alowed... gonna continue in next comment...
I dig it. I went hunting with friends in Texas, but being in africa really changed my perspective. About the over population I'm totally with you, deer are currently considered a pest, and boars too. I'm not sorry for animals you eat, after all. But trails make it a much better adventure.

Hence, a feeder is VERY necessary to bringthe animals fromthe brush. Other wise, they would way over populate. Hogs would do 2xs as much damage. BUT, I truely prefer to hunt them on trails, not at feeders. But when I get invited to hunt, and no trails are cleared, the feeder is the only option. No offence at all! Anytime

probably your best yet, love the music and the head shots. NO whispering before and after the shot, pure excitement from start to finish, great editing. Next time try the South African head shot - with a 12 gauge rifled slug(not sabot). Zoom in on the head during the shot, mixed with a little Ozzy in the background. Can u picture it?

Excellent shooting! I am an avid black bear and deer hunter in wisconsin and have always wanted to try wild boar hunting! Do you have any tips on what sorts of bait to use?

Head shots the only way to go with hogs and whitetails. Unless of course you have a monster whitetail rack you want to save. No tracking, no ruined meat.

I'm in Texas. I'm from Maine... I know for a fact that around Palermo Maine there are wild hogs. I know NY has hog farms. Locate these hog farms and scout the areas. I guarentee there are a few feral hogs running New York.
Neat lift system on your truck. I made one from a lift assist that I got from a seniors home. Little quad winch, and the biggest part of the work is done. I use a .243 for almost everything, but I find more and more I take the 30 06. Keep the vids coming.
I have a had winch that I was going to use. This takes a bit of "Pumping" but it works. Used it this eve... Been carrying the .270 but notta to shoot at.

Only one here. These hogs destroy crops, eat turky eggs, and quail. They aren't suposed to be here. Someone has to take care of them. Huntings in my blood. No comment will change that. Head shots the only way to go with hogs and whitetails. Unless of course you have a monster whitetail rack you want to save. No tracking, no ruined meat.

Hehehe Nice. Laughable those who think there is something wrong with removing a non-native species. I've hunted the hill country of Texas and have seen what the hogs are doing. Same here in Georgia, forage really disappears where the Russian variety is taking over.

These hogs have to be kept in check with all they are destroying in Texas and other places. We are providing a service while feeding our families with good pork. I'm in Texas. I'm from Maine... I know for a fact that around Palermo Maine there are wild hogs. I know NY has hog farms. Locate these hog farms and scout the areas. I guarentee there are a few feral hogs running New York.

Neat lift system on your truck. I made one from a lift assist that I got from a seniors home. Little quad winch, and the biggest part of the work is done. I use a .243 for almost everything, but I find more and more I take the 30 06. Keep the vids coming.

I have a had winch that I was going to use. This takes a bit of "Pumping" but it works. Used it this eve... Been carrying the .270 but notta to shoot at.

That's some damn-good shooting, Dnahoghunter: Absolutely textbook. And your comments at 2:59 was spot-on. It's easier said than done, but with time, practice and the proper equipment one should be be able to get it done like you're doing. Its a benchrest rifle, for competitions(I don't compete). Very heavy. Helps with acuracy.

I love all your hunting videos because I hunt hogs in florida. This weekend I got my first hog he was a 76lb black boar. I put a 20 gauge slug through his heart at 70 yards Im gona put that picture up soon. I SUBSCRIBED!!!
