Well that's why it's only a beta for now... They'll balance all hero before releasing the game. And imo HoN is so much better than DotA: Much less rage quitters, no drops and hundred more games than Wc3 has with DotA. Once every hero is balanced, HoN will crush DotA.

Actually, HoN = screwed up DoTA. The new HoN added heroes are unbalanced, and destroys some of IceFrog's design principles that makes DoTA great.

Pretty much every LoL game ive played on beta there was always someone to pick the hero who can summon turrets(Dont know his name :P) and basically spam summon them and push like mad, if anyone tried to kill the hero he would run to the turrets and before you can get to him then go "Oh SHi!@#!@" then turn around, you are already dead. and being that each team can have the same hero as the other team.. well yeah :S

naah, you cant spam the turrets because of:

1) cooldowns prevent turrets popping up rapidly

2) other champions trying to kill you

3) turret guy can die easily

4) the turrets dont last forever anyways!

Played beta for HoN, it's fun as hell, the heroes are unbalanced to shit though, and most of the community is a bunch of assholes, but the game is really fun and it's a refreshing change from DoTA, though I'm looking forward to this game. Seems a lot more noob friendly.

Hon doesn't look 1999 but lets take a look at the same company to try and rip of clan allstars idea. Demi god, it was an ok game but it flopped so hard its not even funny. Lol is way better than dota and Demi gods and I highly doubt some clone nock off will do better than the creators of the origonal game.

Personally I prefer LoL. I have the beta for both games, and LoL just caught my eye with having new item smaps, heroes and... pretty much everything was new. HoN just re-used DotA stuff with kick ass graphics....

Balence wise LoL is waaaaaay better. HoN and DotA will never be balenced simply because they have broken concepts (earth shaker, crixalis and tuaren chieftan to naem a few). LoL stays away from broken concepts

To all those calling this a ripoff. This is the natural evolution of DotA. DotA proved that the concept works so well it has captured the hearts of countless players. So much so that it deserves to be a standalone game with its own infrastructure to support it in ways Warcraft 3 can't. They are obviously trying to replicate the DotA experience. If you played Demigod you'll know that it feels very different, you don't get the same level of precision in your actions, and the ability effects are not very distinct. I think they are because of the graphics engine and art style.

Yes - Icefrog has definitely progressed DotA as a balanced game. But it was GUINSOO who first made the items that combine, made many many of the heroes, implemented roshan, added in the runes, created a lot of the alternate game modes....you get the idea.
