If the US is a terrorist, why do we buy billions of dollars of oil from the Middle East. We have our own, but Dem. Congress won't let us drill. China is now drilling off our Florida coast, but we can't. We have helped China and made the Middle East rich. Huckabee says our Tax system punishes productivity, and as a small business owner I agree with him. Even if I don't make enough profit to pay income tax, they still nail me with a 15% self employment tax that foreign companies don't pay.

I don't trust "position statements." I trust voting records. As governor of Arkansas, Huckabee was soft on illegal invaders. As Dr. Phil says "The best indicator of future behavior is past behavior." Huckabee's past behavior is that of a TRAITOR, period.

I think this guys is full of shit. Groups like Al Qaeda formed because we're over there. There are people being murdered every day because we're over there! The longer America stays in Iraq, more and more terrorists will be recruited! By the way: other than Iraq name one other time in the last 50 years that the US did as you say, "bomb other countries" unless it was to retaliate for something. The US gives billions every year to other countries in aid more than any other country. The US has its problems but it is BY FAR the best place to live in the world. That is why people are still after 200+ years dying to get here.

The U.S. gives billions of dollars in aid to other countries, yet it is trillions of dollars in debt and borrowing money from other communist or terrorist countries in order to fund "war". Bombings... I'll go with the last century: Vietnam, Japan, Iraq, Afghanistan... the U.S. GAVE weapons to Iraq and Israel, so in essence, Palestine, Iran, and Lebanon are on the list... next stop, Pakistan!

I think that you would be happier with Dr. Paul. He was named the #1 Taxpayer's Friend 10 years in a row by the National Taxpayers Union. Huckabee wants to get rid of the IRS and replace it with a larger bureaucracy, called the Fair Tax. Dr. Paul wants to get rid of the IRS and replace it with NOTHING. Please reconsider. :)

again very misinformed: the compliance costs alone with our current system is about 265.1 billion and that was in 2005. It increases every year. With the fair tax that will nearly all go away. The system to collect the national sales tax is already in place. Huckabee does not plan to replace the IRS with some other monstrous program.

Huckabee is 100% for the Fair tax you are correct. But in doing so he is not advocating a larger bureaucracy. The fair tax or national sales tax will not create more government. It has been used in Hong Kong for many many years very successfully.

China is a communist country. Anyway, the fairtax is a scheme to make federal socialist collectivist acts completely legal and mandatory with no loopholes. A true Republican would NEVER go for this sort of thing. Collectivism is a Democratic socialist ideal. The Fairtax would level out the lower classes, giving a tax break to the poor and increasing the tax burden on the middle class, while giving the rich a tax break. Have u researched the fairtax or do u just listen to whatever Huck says???
