Why does anyone care what Cheney says anymore? Who is he to criticize Obama? It's not like Cheney's totally unnecessary war in Iraq was a stunning success. iraq unnecessary? we disagree there. that CEASE FIRE had hundreds of infractions, no fly zone crossings, planes shot at, oil-for-food scammed, inspectors kicked out, UN resolutions ignored, etc. bush did what clinton should have.thats why he won 2x

I guess that the completely fabricated story about yellow cake uranium is perfectly justified. Im sure the timing of the invasion had nothing to do with Hussein being on the verge of signing oil contracts with French and Russian oil companies. And what about Halliburton winning the federal-reserve bonanza by grossly inflating every little cost? Not to mention every other private company wasting money.

Why did they lay off the entire Iraqi civil sector, creating mass unrest and unemployment while giving jobs away to foreign contractors that were charging multiple times the cost and doing a horrible job? Is that really how you help people? And I suppose the looting and burning of Iraqs history, some of the earliest records of human life gone, is not half as tragic as ignoring a UN resolution. And how cynical do you have to be to think rendition was necessary?

So, unless you can convince me it was necessary to make certain companies, run by friends and colleagues of the ruling administration, rich at the expense of an entire nation of people, I stand by my comments. @psychospores and what about the Talibanies did in 911 wasn't that brutal to U.S, how the hell killing the inocents in New York make them right and U.S wrong. I stand next to U.S. Also what they did in somalia was right too. The entire world know that U.S fought for inocent Somalies.
