  • Not too bad. I have not tried my stock 2006 Mazda 3 in a 1/4 mile, maybe soon.

  • shifting early? doesn't sound like its been redlined....

  • good run for stock+passenger. Have any mods now?

  • same time for me :P 15.39

  • thats the same time i pulled off stock.

got a 14.5 with some basic bolt ons

  • are protege's fast? and are they comfortable? im really looking into getting one after i get out of college and im trying to figure out what they have and what they dont...i would greatly appreciate the advice

  • the Mazdaspeed Protege was the best handling front wheel drive car you could buy when it was made. I have a Protege, and its ride is more firm then average, but not uncomfortable, feels like a million bucks to drive, loads of fun, handles great, great feel, very responsive, littlebody roll, very stable and lots of room inside. But very under powered. I have the base 1.6l 5 speed, if you get one, make sure it at least has a 2.0. Im planing on getting a protege5 in a month or two. Recommended!

  • thank you for your output! ive been waiting awhile for one lol and ya i was also checking into either a mk3 supra turbo or a 89 crx or a 1st gen eclipse turbo...but idk yet im keeping my options open

  • I have a CRX and I run with a lot of mazda and toyota guys. I will say do not get an Eclipse out of al lof those lol. The Supra is great if you have the money for it, they're comfortable fast and fun. The CRX is swappable with most honda/acura engines. The Supra has the coveted 2jz of course. Piss on eclipses lol I've never had a problem walking turbo GSXs. I also find they lack reliability.

  • haha ya so ive been told lol but naw i just recently started looking at the 1991 toyota mr2 turbo and thinking bout getting one of them instead and im probaly gonna get one

  • Well depending on how much the passenger weighed, you can get a better time. My dad's got two work buddies one races a 9 second car and has said for every extra 100 pounds in a car, it's a tenth of a second, so if the passenger weighed like 150 you really got like a 15.2

  • sounds about right for stock. good run

  • haha a tomtom!

  • 15.4 @ 90mph

  • Time?
