The only accomplishment that Barack Obama has done is getting caught publicly fellating the AIPAC people. He was able to prove that for you to advance as a black man in America, you have to become Uncle Tom.
Being elected Senator is an accomplishment, and so is graduating from Harvard....but thats not the question. What HAS he accomplished as a Senator? Not his life accomplishments.. and the answer is nothing. He hasn't even finished a full term. This is a great example of our "reality show" drivin society, "He has charisma so I'll vote for him" this isn't a beauty pagent!
So if I was applying for a job, and had been elected senator of my state in the past, and was asked to list my accomplishments, I should leave being elected senator off my application.

It's a trick question. Rarely can anyone name legislation their congressmen have done. By now I'm sure you have been exposed to some of the legislation accomplishments he has been connected with. It's all over the internet. Now about experience. Obama has 2 yrs in the Senate and 8 in Illinois legislature. The same amount of experience that Abraham Lincoln had when he was elected president, and he seemed to do pretty well. Guess that's experience enough.
I think Obama could do a very credible job as president, but I never said he is the next Lincoln. My point is to compare Obama's experience with that of a successful president with the same amount of political experience in answer to the charge that he is too inexperienced to become president. I'm comparing experience.

For example, according to wikipedia, "he sponsored a law enhancing tax credits for low-income workers, negotiated welfare reform, and promoted increased subsidies for childcare". that may be just a minor accomplishment to you, but don't you think it's a better answer than "giving a great speech" or him "being black"? i would've figured ONE of those people they had there said something better than that.
