  • the plastic grips are from a BB MP40, so i think it schould be 1:1 scale. Other parts are 1:1 scale and the grips are matching....maybe its the video, where it looks smaller

  • Is it just me, or is it a bit smaller than the real deal? The pistol grip on yours loks small in your hand whee as my MP40 fills the palm rather nicely....

  • This is an amazing replica. I have been looking for one like this for a while for my film. How much did this cost you?

  • @ivalice09 well.. the only part i realy payed for, is the barrel.. it was made in a friend's workshop for 10€. The other pipes, sheets of metal and pins i've had at home in my garage...and the plastic parts are from a friend's wrecked MP40 BB gun for free:)

  • How did you make the stamped steel parts on this? For example, the magazine well and ejection housing. I understand you could use stock piping for the receiver, but what about those parts that were originally pressed steel on the real gun?

  • @Halonobie the magazine well on the real MP38 is machined from a block of steel i think...and on the MP40 it is stamped......on mine it is made out of sheet metal pieces welded together. The magazine is the same thing, as the magazine well. If you send me your Email, i will send you some photos from production.

  • @Panzerfaust6 Just to let you know I've sent you a personal message on Youtube with my email address, please send me as much Mp38 stuff as you can :D

  • soooo... are you also a fan of tacome?

  • @konigstiger93 yes, but i made this out of metal, not out of paper;)

  • cool beans
