@Spoox79 Wow , he still looks great ! I wish Ian would at least consider taking part in a new tv sitcom or even in a movie , after all he´s so adorable and talented !
The guy interviewing the cast was named Burd Bullock:
Burd Bullock was a longtime anchor and reporter for WFTV. He joined Channel 9 in 1977 as a weatherman, then switched to full-time entertainment reporting in 1987 when everyone forecast Orlando to become Hollywood East. He would work at the station for 16 years, leaving the air in December 1992 when he was diagnosed with throat cancer. He died the following March at age 38.

I always preferred John Haymes Newton. Stopped watching when he left. Also, it just so happens that Gerard's last name was Christopher...a small reference to Christopher Reeve perhaps. Same producers. Maybe Reeve himself was partly chosen because of his name which just one letter short of the 1950s TV Superman Steve Reeves. Course, in my book, no one's ever played the part better than Christopher Reeve. Anyone after's just trying to fill his boots (Routh does it pretty well, I think).
THanks I never saw this intorduction back in 1989. Gerard is looking good as always. I dare say he is one of the best Super actors of all time, maybe second only to Christopher Reeve.
Ilan still looks so young ! How old is he now ?

@misswillingtolearn
Yes, I agree. But now he is a professor for history and english at a university. Acting no longer interested him.
Look at wikipedia: Ilan Mitchell-Smith
