I like how streetlights been playing a lot more of thier older songs lately. thier new songs are good and all, but I like the live versions of thier old songs
People clapping off time drives me crazy, especially if I'm playing. and this is the sort of song that's really easy to rush, he doesn't need their help.

I was in the very front, and my ride was there and pissed, so i climbed the fence and security pushed me out.. i was walking out of starland like, as soon as he sang "im not leavin this place.." and then i turned around and stopped myself, and i stayed in the back for the rest of the song
i would love for them to release an acoustic version of sick and sad like in this encore. that was such a sick show, driving up to rochester to see them again saturday.
Well they are working on 99 songs of revolution but since they have to tour to pay rent it could take a while. If you want some new material and if you at one on there concerts any time soon you could pick up Bandits of the acoustic revolution which to my knowledge is not available in stores.
It's only been a little over a year since Somewhere in the Between came out. There was a two and a half year gap between Everything Went Numb and Keasbey Nights (and those songs were already written a while ago). Not that I don't want to hear new music.
whats so amazing about this ending is the fact even though its a completely different time sig. and rhythm everyone in that room could sing along. I love streetlight for this because everyone sings along with them.
wow so i was totally at this show but half passing out the whole time cause shiiiit the crowd was TIGHT lol but dude...i totally completely absolutely do not remember sick n sad happening at all lmao i mean i recall the big sleep and most def somewhere in the between but just...not sick and sad. at all. hahahaha that shit was CRAAAZY totally dig it tho
This was their encore in Albany (Well, Clifton Park) on the 10th as well. I was absolutely blown away, it caught everyone off guard. It's nice that someone got a solid performance of it on video.
Yeah, I was at the show at Revolution Hall as well. They were incredible there too, but I think I preferred this show overall. I already can't wait for the next one!
Such a sick show. I was front row center (in front of the bald security guard in the vid) & my guy Mark was shooting the band - he's wearing red/black shirt stage right in the vid. Nothing like being crushed up against a barricade in Sayreville for hours on end...
Tomas came back out and said some along "I'll try to do this and not screw up like I did at Bambozzle" and then he played the first verse of Somewhere In the Between acoustic as everyone came back out then they played Somewhere in the Between full electric.
Ive been seeing SM since 05, and this has been there best show since. They fused together there set, and there horn section was the most solid its ever been, mainly since its the 2nd show of teh tour, and they arent burnt out to shit. But still, loved the night
Man what a finale that must've been!

Just listen to that crowd sing along! You can really tell how much we all really love Tomas and his work.

Just saw them do this ending on Saturday night, and I have to say it's probably the best way to close their shows that I've seen so far.

its still 4/4
moto1049 3 years ago
ok what I mean is bpm. slowed down.
still pretty damn good ending.
EdLippincott 3 years ago
if you listen close enough, its going from a duble to triple meter. so Edlippincott was right on. What Tom was singing acoustic, was in 4.
abuani101 3 years ago
Depends how you count it.
You could just count it as 4/4 with a triplet sixteenth feel, or count is a fast 12/8 or 12/16.
Hunter623 3 years ago
Streetlight should release a campfire singalong album.

wow...I just realize that this is how they ended it. I didn't know they combined the songs
5AwesomeRvBers 3 years ago
I'm kind of surprised they didn't play Everything Went Numb. Well, more so as an intro rather than an encore. But in general, nonetheless.

yeah, i was a little disappointed that they didnt play 'we are the few'. thats one of my favorites by them.
