  • awwww his little wink at the end aha

  • I was at a party yesterday and used the HD powder, really loving the feel of it. Nice satiny to the touch. But whenever I saw someone flash their camera I thought, nooooo, not me!

    :)

  • what about for drag queens ? seems like this powder would be perfect for us right ?

  • I did a test with Mac prep + prime after a client said late night flash photography had left her with white circles under her eyes (havent seen the pics yet)... and if applied heavily, the same thing happens... not to the same degree though!!! : (( so disappointing as love prep + prime

  • Wow thanks for letting us know! Definitely help!!

  • This recently happen to me but it wasn't a makeup forever product it was Ruby kisses HD set n forget invisible setting powder

  • if u know what i meen ^ _ -

  • are u still gay? because im not...

  • HAHA... yes... still wanna marry you =p even more for every video i watch!

  • oh wow!!! shocking!! mystery solved! now i know why nicole kidman has very noticeable powder under her eyes!!!

  • This happen to me! I wish MUFE would state this, Atleast in their ads. I bought this because, the rep at sephora and misleading MUFE ads.

  • I wonder if this happens with NYX HD or ELF HD powders?

  • @ihateyuma he said in another video that it happens if the powder has 100% silica. so it can probably happen to other HD powders depending on how much silica is in it.

  • you remind me so much of Jude Law!

  • OMG! Thanks for making us aware of this. I love photography and I'll make sure to keep your advice in mind.

  • Woah. I did not expect it to be that harsh! Thanks for this video!!

  • When I saw the photo my jaw literally dropped. I was not expecting the results to be that extreme. D:

  • @dandanchicken same here! i'm glad i know this tho.

  • @dandanchicken SAME OMG

  • Ugh! Wish I would have seen this vid before I bought, used this and had my photo taken! It was so embarrassing! Thank you so much for your knowledge!

  • omfg hahahaha thank god i watched this video... i was just bout to go get the make up for ever HD powder hahahaha... NOT ANYMOREE!!! super mat it is ;) .xoxoxoxoxo

  • I use MUFE HD powder all the time and I've had pics taken and haven't had a problem yet. You just have to make sure you tap off ALL the excess before applying

  • super interesting!

  • i use this powder, and apply it VERY lightly, and ive never had that problem. but he did say hes applying it very heavy!

  • yes still wanna marry you, regardless! :D

  • MY gosh , u r so damn hot

  • Good lord! Eva looked like a football player but with a white line!

  • i dont think it has a white cast if you apply lightly, but nonetheless, i'm glad i didn't buy this powder. i was about to, but decided to stick with mac's MSFN instead. i might try the super matte loose! thanks goss!

  • thanks for the info! :-)

  • Im testing all my powders! i could not live with myself if one of my clients makeup reacted that way with flash photography.

    Thanks for the info.

  • I love Mally Beauty's face defender it is really clear no joke and when applied correctly (BLOT people do NOT RUB) it makes your skin matte but not crazy matte lol! LOVE IT!!

  • i am addicted to your videos!!

  • Aw, I was waiting for you to make a pun when you paused there. I thought you were going to say "I hope you found this... illuminating". Ah well. Still I'm shocked how reflective it was with a flash, holy crap! Good little info-torial, or whatever you want to call it. =)

  • wow i hadn't noticed that i love this product but i am going to try the super mat loose powder now

  • Omg! It looks horrible!! 0.o

  • I've used this powder on my models in my photography and did not have a problem, but I did not use as much as you did in the video. So I agree it does depend on the amount you use. The powder is such a microfine powder that you really don't need very much at all to accomplish the purpose you are using it for. It is so fine that after I tap my brush to get rid of the excess, it remains in the air for a bit. I think with this product less is more.

  • awesome vid!

  • I don't understand why people are replying to my comment about being suprised it does that in videos. I wear MUFE foundation, but MUFE fan girls are getting so annoying when any one has anything bad to say about the brand. It's makeup ladies and gentlemen, get over it.

  • Thank you for information, some people are stupid if they don't appreciate your videos.

  • U r awesome! Love u

  • holyyyy crap! i bought this powder because i thought it was meant for photography and film and i just tried it on my face & didn't even apply it that heavy and it showed up even more than this on my iphone camera! wow, i'm blown away haha sorry i had no idea! thanks so much!

  • Lol wish I watched this before I took pics for my birthday yesterday!!! Lol kept wondering why I would look so pale... Thanks for the insight

  • very interesting. thanks for sharing xo

  • Just found your channel! It's amazing! Thank you for your videos! Can you do a tutorial/ review on waterproof makeup? What brand and where to get it? I'd really appreciate it since I have my wedding soon :)

  • Haha i went to a wedding and the pictures of me outside looked great and then the ones taken inside with a flash looked horrible. And i never knew why til now! Thanks for the info and i love your videos. Great advice. :)

  • The same thing happened to me when I went to get my passport photo taken! It was so embarrassing! haha. Now I know not to apply so much powder, only a small amount is needed. Wish I watched this beforehand lol!

  • HOLY CRAP

  • Oh God...So glad I watched this...Thanks :P

  • I like you and your videos...

  • Hello, While I understand very little English (just a few words) with the information you give with your hands and how to explain to signals quite understand what you explain. So I love your videos and I'll subscribe right away. I have the HD powders makeupforever, apart from those you use other? can you tell me what is it?. Thanks from Spain

  • cool photo :D

  • @PinkPearl691 Your own words have cemented exactly the point I was making. However, I respect myself, Wayne, his channel and videos too much to address the crass and vulgar comments you made about me or continue any further correspondence.

  • @PurrtyCat83 Flatter yourself not troll! you have no respect. Your comment was a white flag of defeat. You have nothing to say, so take several seats back down, CHILD. The truth isnt "vulgar" but your ignorance s vulgar though. PUURRRTYCAT, I honestly cant take you seriously. Just like the other teeny sex crazed teeny boppers on all his vids. See yourself out and dont let the cyber door hit you imbecile.

  • I seriously thought this was a parody that picture made me piss my pants.. Love it!

  • @samasama888 I also think your photo is a parody too, you look like stitch from lilo and stitch with those far parted beety eyes and horrid facial features. I knew you were a teeny bopper, just like the rest of them! another flat chested bieber crazy fanatics who dont know anything about makeup

  • @benefitbabe90 Well everyone has their own preferences, some like the effect it gives on their already light skintone. Everyone is different though. I like it and others also agree, people will always rave or rant about a product, Im not going to stop buying it because of someone. Plus, some people might like the effect created by it on their skintone. SO if you want it, get it, otherwise...no biggie. I dunno why there are this many views, 99% of comments are girls who have a crush on him.ughh

  • @PinkPearl691 he only say "don't wear this for photos", no "don't use this make up"... :S

  • @Misspurrmiau He only say? dont you mean "he only SAID", anyways,Thats also ignorant because there are people who like hwow it looks on them and in photos! I took photography and obviously pale people will apear pale also, regardless! you need to let people be, if they like how it looks on them in photos...than great for them! Id rather have that looking bright/radiant than some muddy bronzer splotches all over the face.

  • @PinkPearl691 I don't know speak English, is not my language.

  • I just saw an older video where you didnt have facial hair.... its just my opinion but I think you look better with the facial hair lol. Not that you looked bad without but....just better with it .

  • A manly dude doing makeup! I'm hypnotized!

  • byeiiii ;) hehe thank you 4 the good videos!

  • YES WE STILL WANT TO MARRY YOU :D.

  • @PinkPearl691 I know that's an old comment but I couldn't help noticing your rudeness and contradiction. You say "live and let live" then you go on to insult people with "hin? lips" and "beety? eyes" (perhaps you should learn to spell the insults correctly) giving makeup advice. If it's good advice what does that matter? Also, "worry about you"? You don't seem to be following that well either.

  • @PurrtyCat83 I dont know who you are or who you think you are. I put ratched vermins like you in your place! havent you ever heard of a type??? YES! HUMANS DO MAKE TYPOS IF THEY TYPE FAST! you dumb bitch! youre mad as hell because you know you fit in that category of thin lips and beety eyes! you know you look ratched and beastly. What I said, everyone agrees with! let people do them! you dont have the authority or the place to tell others how to wear their makeup! where do you get off bitch?

  • @PurrtyCat83 Dont start crap with me and get your ass embarrased! Its Youtube! I can make a comment addressing the general public! When I say "worry about you" Im talking about people who tell others how to wear their makeup" Nowhere in my history have I told someone what to put on their face/skin! everyone has their own style and I respect it! nicole Kidman might like pale as well as burlesque women, others like bronzey! dont use words you dont know! contradiction? ahaha, dont use words u dunno

  • you look soooo good in this video!

  • What's the brush you used at 3:11?

  • @MyAverageBeauty117 I think that's Nars's Yachiyo blush brush.

  • still want to marry you <3

  • i use this hd powder. if you spray it with a setting mist or wait for it to blend with your oils for a couple hours it doesnt show on flash photography :)

  • @complexion1 Well everyone has their own preferences, some like the effect it gives on their already light skintone. I personally wouldnt want it concentrated in one area only. Oh well, thats just me though. Others might be different.

  • brilliant

  • awesome tutorial!!!!!

  • Very informative!!! Thank you for this demonstration!!

  • I'm a photographer and i also do makeup once in a while and i just bought the HD powder. wish i have seen this before..

  • @gossmakeupartist What do you do for VERY OILY skin? I don't like to apply powder because I feel like it makes me look fake, but at the same time, I feel like I HAVE to because my face is really oily (if I don't use powder the foundation doesn't set) and even with powder on the oil on my face breaks down my foundation...

  • is he gay??? he's hot!

  • @jllove1992 I think so

  • @jllove1992 he's not

  • @jllove1992 no, he has a wife !

  • @jllove1992 I don´t care... He´s HOT!!!

  • i love your eyebrows...

  • That's odd. If it's meant for HD camera's I can't believe it does that, so weird. Kinda an oxymoron.

  • @benefitbabe90 HD cameras are video cameras, the HD powder is made for video filming, not photography.

  • @QueenEmzy not necessarily, your info is wrong. Also,Well everyone has their own preferences, some like the effect it gives on their already light skintone. I personally wouldnt want it concentrated in one area only. Oh well, thats just me though. Others might be different.

  • @benefitbabe90 the hd powder is meant for hd video cameras, not still cameras. although, it could also be meant for hd photography without flash? i dunno for sure, im not a film or photo buff. but anytime i see something powder with the hd label, thats what i take it to mean: meant for hd video

  • tsk! i just can't understand how these 15 people could dislike this video?! it's very informative & you can really see how wayne puts his efforts just to make a statement. ungrateful little biotches! LOL!!!!

  • Your vids are soooo awesome. I learn so much from them <3 Thank you for doing this ^.^ You make a novice like me learn more about make up and its tricks & tips :)

  • LMFAO

  • my new guru

  • You have to use very little. You don't need much of this stuff for it to do its job. Please don't give up on this product, it's a really, really good one.

P.S. I love your videos. Straight to the point and I've learned so much.

  • Strange!!! I've used this powder before and I've never had this problem with flash photography!

  • it was interesting

  • NOOO!!!! I just bought that powder to go on top of my makeup forever liquid foundation that i ordered as well!!!! aaahhhh!!! well i guess ill just had to use it lightly :/

  • wow. thats so gross.

  • Love ur videos :)

  • i had to wait for the ADVERTISEMENT to load before i could watch it, then i had to wait for the video to load before i watched it! i hate ads haha

i love how youve done this video :)

  • i don't see the point with people who say - thanks for helping me save money!!!! i didn't get the powder!!! hello...no one's asking you to LOAD on the powder like CRAZY. Use the product as it's meant for. a light dusting. not like how he was using it

  • @isaacyeung he knows your not meant to use alot... hes a makeup artist!! he only used that much for demonstration purposes, it even says so in the description box.

  • @Cheerbabeforeverable exactly! haha i know he was exaggerating, thats why i said i don't understand why ppl are commenting about not buying the HD powder blah blah....cuz in fact it is an amazing product, even ON CAMERA, IF, you are using it the right way ;)

  • @isaacyeung oh haha... reading it again i get what you mean... i thought you were being rude to him for using too much!

    hahaha happy new years :)

  • lol i can hear the sirenes in the back

  • @LadyMandyism try a make up set spray, for example the one from urban decay is really good ;D

  • @imnotthankless I agreee! UD makes an amazing spray (:

  • what amazing brush did you use to apply the powder? it looks funky!! :)

  • I love you.

  • I was in Sephora today and I was so close to buying the HD powder. But then I remembered your video and I ended up not buying it. Thank you for making this video and saving me from wasting my money!

  • im not sure if you'll reply but if anyone else can!

will the white show up if i use it lightly?

  • @uclastar32 I wouldn't think so I'm trying out elf hd powder to see but when I went to sephora and they tried this (makeup forever hd powder) on me she told me to push lightly and twist so it didn't pack a lot on so give that a try!

  • @uclastar32 I've been using the HD powder for about 5 months now (I use it daily) and I love it! I dust it on lightly on my t-zones (mostly on my forehead) and it doesn't leave a white film at all. I've taken many pictures wearing the powder and have never seen white on my face. It all just depends on how much you apply. It keeps my forehead from getting oily for about 4-7 hours.

  • @ViktoriyaC Also, people who are pale will appear pale regardless. Some people apply more of the powder than others, everyone is different :D.

  • @uclastar32 I would suggest use it lightly. But people who are pale will be pale on cam regardless. Just use a light hand. Dont let a video discourage you from doing something, there are many videos against Revlon foundations but people still buy them! There is even a tag called 10 things I wont buy again! use a light hand to press it on.

  • I can afford mac.... how about black opals transparent powder?

  • @LadyMandyism UR FROM BARBADOS???!!!! :D

    I LOVE U!!!! <3<3 :*

cause ur from Barbados like Rihanna <3<3

  • Thank you for this video , showing us what you applied and the result you got from the camera was very interesting . I agree with what you say Each to their own in terms of likes and dislikes . I am not a fan of powder , but have found some great products that I am trying out . I also like make up for ever , some products more than others ...what suits one does not always suit another .. But am learning many things from your videos Thank you SJ x

  • why don't you look at me (camera)? :(

  • doesn't your facial hair get in the way?

  • @LadyMandyism that's why he's talking about HD powder. He didn't say anything about normal powder.

  • i accidentally clicked dislike.....ooooops

  • I spent so much money on my HD powder from make up forever and I noticed that my face did look like a ghost when I took a picture! I hate it now and I wish I could throw it away, but it hurts to think I am throwing my money in the trash!!!

  • @sandyandgregg and whats wrong with that? also naturally pale people will appear pale on cam/video! its not like alek wek will be looking pale! people have different preferences!

  • is other HD loose powder also having the same problem as Makeup forever ? wat ;s the main cause of the problem?

  • gosh! i have this HD loose powder and now only realize it's limitation. thanks for sharing !

  • wow that was crazyy!!

  • i just re-watched this video for the nth time, since i was shopping for new items for my makeup kit. I'd just like to ask if all HD powders do this? I found a popular mineral make-up line and they have an HD powder which contains these ingredients: Silica Spheres, Mica, Kaolin Clay.

...by the way, I just saw the last comment in the description box... my answer: YES, i still want to marry you! lol! :)

  • wow...

  • I always wondered why their faces were white... I think Kim Kardashian does the same thing...

  • @musicmaniac95 and whats wrong with that? also naturally pale people will appear pale on cam/video! its not like alek wek will be looking pale! people have different preferences! dont worry about kim, worry about yourself! if u like looking dim/dull/orangey/etc..thats ur thing! but some may like to look paler. seeing theyre naturally already pale like dita for instance

  • @PinkPearl691 I think you misunderstood what I was saying. I was wondering why they had bright white areas on their faces when they were orange everywhere else. I'm also extremely pale, so..

  • @musicmaniac95 No I understood what you were saying but you didnt want to understand what I was saying which is respect all people and their choices of makeup! I hate bronzer, but I dont tell anyone what to put on their skin..its tacky and low budget! if tehy wan to look orangey/bright and radiant/etc..thats on them! My hatred is with folks who look a plain jane mess with papercut hin lips or beety eyes telling people what to put on their face. Do you and let others do them! LIVE, AND LET LIVE.

  • i thought it was just me, that looked like a ghost in photos when i used the mufe loose powder lol i stopped using it thinking i was heavy handed. i have since used pressed powders and do not have this problem. i am careful to stay away from powders with sunscreen in them, though. great vid, thanks!

  • Thanks for this. This explains it. I had seen those pics before of Nicole Kidman and Eva L. I had always thought that there was no way the make up artist could have screwed up so badly. Now this makes total sense.

  • whoaaaa lol am sorry but that was cray.... thanks for the demo:)

  • i still wanna marry you! haha :)

  • i was told the mufe hd powder does not require such a big amount like he used. it is meant to use a small amount to get the effect. same goes for the normal loose powder, it take a small amount for it go a long way.

  • hmm I use the make up forever HD powder quite often, but i never noticed it leaving a white powder in pictures. But i wil def be mindful of it now. Thanks for the video.

  • thats freaking crazy! THank you for this tutorial!!! You have officially saved all my future photos photos!! lol

  • so cool :D

  • You should look at the camera lens not on yourself !

  • @DoUdO1000 is it really that big of a deal to comment on what he's looking at? lol

  • @XxKeishaMariexX To me it is ...youtubers should be looking at the lens so that the viewer feels like he's talking to her/him. plus it gives me the feeling that he is blind or

cross-eyed or something , I need to be connected !!

  • Maybe the hd video cameras

  • They say you should always wear sun screen, even if it looks bad on a flash camera, because it is extremely beneficial.

  • I know you said you like the Make Up Forever Super Matte Powder but it also contains Silica and Talc...is this good for women of color? I have dark, indian-toned skin and don't want to have the white cast to my skin in photographs but also need a good setting powder. Since you like the MUFE powders, I was thinking of getting one but it also contains silica and talc as the first ingredients so I am a bit wary of them. Especially since talc is a no no for most women of color. Thanks!

  • ha ha i thought that it was coke they had on their faces like they had a scarface moment i see now it was the makeup lol

  • @zepolarevir LOL

  • you are amazing

  • im confused. in a previous video, you said don't apply powder like that, but to press it in instead. did you just rub them on for the purpose of the video? or is it really okay to use the kabuki like that?

  • @ladieesc0 did you not watch the video or something.. after he uses the kabuki he shows a picture of what happened. theirs spots everywhere!

  • @immandrew you did not understand my comment or something. i am not asking about whether or not you can see the powder. OBVIOUSLY you can! i am asking about the METHOD in which he used the brush; not about the powder and the effects of it. This, i already know. you did not help me in anyway, but thanks for your efforts. I will wait for the person that I asked the question in the first place to answer :)

  • @ladieesc0 = =" he was using the kabuki brush as a ' not what to do' method. so yes he still does the powder puff & buffs it off with a powder brush.

  • I'm sad that I have the HD powder! D:!! I guess it's a good thing I don't take pictures :L Very informative -3

  • I am so glad I found your channel :)

  • Get ELF HD powder and save your money!

  • I used the HD powder to set my concealer and it looked exactly the same with flash on an HD camera! It was scary!

  • Very good. Never used powder in my life. Personally I Think skin only looks dryer, older and more wrinkly than nessesary.

  • This is very imformative. Thank you for demonstrating. I do love MUFE but did not know the powder would look this way in photos. Thanks a million!

  • Interesting.. Thanks for the vid..

  • What is a really good powder for just setting your TM, nice skin but can get dry? The LM very soft translucent setting powder? The multi colored Guerlain Meterorites, the HD FUFE, the ELF Studio HD Powder (I currently have this)....any drugstore good products? What do you recommend for everyday?

  • all I can say is ;wow!' ..ty

  • Wayne, it seems like you were in a hurry when you were making this vid. I hear police sirens in the background too. Were they coming for you??? LoL

  • God i love you haha
