  • The only thing "blue" about this video is the color of my face! This video makes me dishonored to be in the same service as these ass clowns. If the taxpayers of our country wanted some dancing idiots to lead the way into war, they would have requested a marching band be deployed to Afgan. If I were general for the day, I would get rid of these prancers and send 60k lbs of beer, steaks and strippers down range for our war heros. At least then, they would actually have a good time.

  • Such ass clowns. TIB makes me embarrassed to be in the AF. There are VERY few who want to see these shows when deployed. By "very few," I honestly cant think of anyone ever saying anything positive about these fools. Total waist of money. The "troops" who join this group are truly delusional if they think they're providing a service to their hard working brothers and sisters. Who the hell selects your music, btw? Do any of you actually listen to that garbage? TIB = vomit with sparkles.

  • it's really disheartening to hear people bash this great program. we spent a year of 20 hour work days busting our ASSES to bring a little bit of home to people overseas and to show those serving stateside a good time. I'd be willing to bet that NOT ONE OF YOU has EVER worked as hard or given up as much of themselves as we did that year. or any of us do in any year, for that matter. bunch of ungrateful, sniveling little BITCHES!

  • Guitarist- TIB 84. I completed my 4 year contract overseas before I was in Tops In Blue. I extended a year. That was a long time ago, and when we performed for troops in small places in Korea, or Iceland or even more remote places, etc they dug it. If you know what's it's like when the only Americans you see are the chopper pilots bringing in mail & supplies. They dug seeing us. Can't speak for the present, but then it was appreciated. Different era I guess.

  • Tops in Blue.. what a terrible waste of taxpayer money. Somebody make these losers go back to work. Nobody wants to see their gay show except for Tops in Blue themselves.

  • I downloaded this video to show to my unit, deploying for the 7th time since 9/11. Figured they would take pride in the dirty/dangerous work they do, and how many in the AFare a bunch of prancing princesses with no concept of mortal danger, or fear so bad you shake days afterwards. Thanks TIB for helping show my troops how they are a privileged elite!

Please disband this waste of the taxpayers money. The 60K lbs to move you can be better served morale-wise by the Pizza Hut we no longer have

  • YGBSM! You should be working in the career field that the tax payers PAID you to be in, not prancing around a stage like a two-bit cruise show. This was the most masturbatory, egotistical presentation I have ever seen. I think 5:30 sums it up, "even though you're in the military, you forget that you're at war." OH SWEET IRONY!!!

  • re: RainierWolfcastle2: 'bitter, table for one'. Like it or not TIB represents you because you have the freedom to criticise something you know nothing about. Won't survive? Really? Absolutely. Don't believe me? Take your wolfcastle to Lackland AFB and try out. I dare you. Something tells me you're all talk.

  • @bakarshawn

hmm, a bunch of untalented american idol wannabees versus actual airmen who get the job done downrange,.. choke yourself.

  • @worddtothewisee

These airmen have jobs in the Air Force. This just happens to be a special opportunity, like a special duty - recruiter, postal, dorm manager, etc.

  • I must have missed the last few times someone died in TIB. I think Rainier's point is that we don't want TIB to represent us. We want it to be disbanded. Then people like bakarshawn wouldn't have to represent us. And "you're all talk"?!? 50% of those that applied for TIB this year made it. Not very competetive at all really. Rainier would probably rather choke himself than be in TIB, so the "he's all talk" comment seems very misguided.

  • This is a personification of everything that is wrong with the Air Force. If you want to entertain troops downrange, send USO tour with a real band (one that civilians pay to see) and a bunch of cheerleaders. TIB makes me embarrassed to wear my uniform. "You won't survive TIB" Really? Tryouts are so tough that you will DIE? Get a life.

  • This one of the best experiences of my life being a part of this program

  • It's not about them being bad people. The TIB are good hearted and they try. To me it's really about the amount the resources we use compared to the benefits we receive. I've been to TIB concerts downrange, but I have never met anyone who is really excited to see them. It's more a lack of anything else to do. What does it cost us to have TIB? In terms of money, in terms of support, in terms of getting other acts to come entertain the troops.

  • I didn't see a single reflective belt. Where is the AFI that states "glitter and glam are allowed substitutes"?

  • This is a great "unofficial" documentary. Man, the memories. Hello, to Chief Edwards and all my TIB Brothers and Sisters (oh, and future TIB family). What an amazing experience that I will not EVER forget. ~Paige TIB 2000!
