@7Lakings7 Oh I get it... You are a loyal Fox News fan. Spencerchef had it right. Stop talking. Rodent. OR... Scroll up to the search bar, and search for Ron Paul. You're welcome.
As soon as Wallace said "We tell the other side of the story...," you could see it in his face that he fucked up and new he walked into the exact thing he wasn't supposed to say...lol. He immediately tried to change the subject and stop Stewart from responding.
He didn't destroy him because nothing of what he said got through. Fox and their viewers believe they are the counter weight to the liberal media's agenda, when they don't have one (besides sensationalism and the other things mention by Jon Stewart.) Without Fox nothing would change in liberal media. But without the liberals, we'd see a big change in Fox.
@spencerchef your statistic is incorrect, that's the percentage of AMERICANS. you probably don't know anything about politics so stop spreading false comments
@7Lakings7 actually you have your head far up your ass my friend. This was off a survey done with all major broadcasting news stations nbc, cbs, cnn, fox. And fox news had the highest percentage who believed saddam was responsible with the 911 terrorist attacks. Ok rewrite me calling me incorrect again, i wont respond because your literally an autistic rodent.
@spencerchef ur a dumbass. more americans watch fox news than ANY OTHER news channel. more americans TRUST fox JUST AS WELL! its only haters like you that talk shit about fox only because they are so big
Stewart is a brilliant man who doesn't need the presidency to make it work.
What I saw in this interview is the URGENCY to make him a "political player", so they can have their revenge for 12 years of comedy. They want to destroy his image and credibility.
Eventually they will. If WE 'the viewers" allow them to do so.
@BeethovenIsGod He used rubric correctly. Rubric can be defined as category or statement of purpose so he's saying Fox is operating under the guise of a news organization, but its agenda says otherwise.
What I don't understand about Fox News is that they actually REPLY to a comedian! They should definitely pay attention to Stewart and other critics, because the critics are right, but not to reply. Instead they should just IMPROVE as journalists. Another thing I don't get is how does Fox News find these journalists (Chris Wallace maybe excluded)? Let's take Megyn Kelly for example: is she a real journalist? If she is, working for FN must be a career suicide. Why would she do that?
Chris Wallace just tried to trap stewart, wallace was never truly willing to analyze any other his examples and hear stewart he just kept wanting to go on to a new example. wallace kept asking the same questions, stewart is a smart man his job is not to be a reliable news source he is a comedian who incorporates politics within his act! wallace just wants consider stewart as a news source so he can burn him. nice try wallace.
@102936 You know you're describing chris wallace and fox news because if anyone has a different opinion on politics they cut their mic. They call it air and balanced but they are tipping the scale to their right wing bias. Fox doesn't welcome others opinion's but they're fine with calling everyone but they're own people out.
@voxextremos22 Hey, make no mistake - Chris Wallace has an agenda, and I agree with you and, for that matter, Jon Stewart. Just watch him at the debates, ex. his pitting Michele Bachmann against Tim Pawlenty, that constipated look he got on his face when Gingrich called him out on his BS, etc. He does, and Fox News does have an agenda, indeed. But, to say Stewart doesn't have ANY agenda, AT ALL? Please - we all saw him gush over the Obamas while playing the Palin-attack dog on his own show.
Archbishop Charles Chaput -- "We make a very serious mistake if we rely on media like the New York Times, Newsweek, CNN, or MSNBC for reliable news about religion. These news media simply don’t provide trustworthy information about religious faith — and sometimes they can’t provide it, either because of limited resources or because of their own editorial prejudices.”
If you can't believe these sources about religion, then doesn't that color everything they publish?
In favor of Jon Stewart, some people only see what they want to see. And, in the case of FOX News, they are seeing what they want to see rather than what the reality truly is. This is a great example of how idiotically and ideologically skewed FOX News could be making, or is making, the USA on a whole numerous fronts against any other media besides their own.
Wallace says, "Fox News represents the "Other Side" of the main stream media". They accuse the main stream media of having a liberal bias. That means Fox represents the conservative point of view, proving John's point that they are NOT fair and balanced. This shit is for 5th graders!
wallace was so insistent on having stewart drink his water i think he may have pee'd in it beforehand. btw when wallace made a reference to amos & andy he was suggesting stewart's imitation of cain was racist. stewart didn't address that. the left is just more subtle with it's bias than fox. i see the bias but most people don't.

the [midterm] study found that Fox News viewers, REGARDLESS OF POLITICAL INFORMATION, were "significantly more likely" to believe that:

--Most economists estimate the stimulus caused job losses
--Most economists have estimated the health care law will worsen the deficit
--The economy is getting worse
--Most scientists do not agree that climate change is occurring

--The stimulus legislation did not include any tax cuts
--Their own income taxes have gone up
--The auto bailout only occurred under Obama
--When TARP came up for a vote most Republicans opposed it
