8:45 that cross court backhand drive was unexpeccted.. its a good thing the opponent has good balance cos otherwise, he will fall on the ground and the game is over.

Frequent focus on the serve of the chinese player showed that the racket head was at the same level as the hand upon impact. I noticed this as a common thing among china's doubles players, both male and female. I checked with the serves of other nationalities, but this "illegal" serve was quite common with chinese players. Though they started with the racket head lower than their hand, it was different upon impact. i suggest that international umpires look start cracking down on this practice.
since you point that out joaquijigs, I kinda see their mistakes as well.. Yes, it's true that initially before they impact the raqcuet's head is lower than their whole arm holding the racquet but as soon as the hit the shuttle the head of the racquet is the same level as the hand/arm.
my fav pair would be Wijaya/Budiarto, too bad sigit retired, i agree with hinion that if tony was still in indo team, they probably will have better chance of getting no.1 in MD

i think as long as the raquet head is not above the wrist it is legal, but however if u are right, than i agree with u .

Gunawan/Wijaya would be #1 in the world if Tony stayed in Indonesia to train.

Why did the score go from 8-8 to 8-10 in one rally?
