Having Claude jump straight into the path of the elevated train was frickin' genius. That was about as far as you could take that joke, with the possible exception of him flying on the underside of the airplane's wing.
I truly believe that if there was to be an interpolation of Claude & Frisky into the new Looney Tunes Show, they'd best borrow a sound byte or two for Frisky's bark. I've yet to see anyone who could do it within any modicum of Mel Blanc's.
This is genius, these old looney tunes cartoons are the greatest. I saw a 3D animated version of bugs bunny today, and it made me sick. The humor isn't the same! It's been dumbed down for the youth of today like every other show. It's sad.
@tmacthewinner99 I watched some of the new bugs bunny show, they did a decent job with it, but I think classics like looney tunes with talented artists and actors should never be remade. I also noticed a lack of anvils in almost all of today's cartoons .-------..___ '-._ :_.-' ) _ (
@tmacthewinner99 hi! sorry, that comment was supposed to be from me, asweatt apparently signed in on my computer and didn't log out of youtube. and the text at the end was supposed to be an anvil
The new Looney Tunes are better than all of the OTHER CRAP that's out there now, but comparably, it's STILL CRAP I'm sad to say. I still laugh myself retarded when I watch the old L.T.'s, and that just doesn't happen with the new stuff. Hand drawn, cell-by-cell animation is a lost/dead ART~BRING BACK TERMITE TERRACE!!!
This is the ONLY time Chuck Jones has ever used Tweety, as he was pretty much a Friz Freleng-exclusive character by this point. Jones also used Sylvester quite a few times, on "The Scarlet Pumpernickel" and those shorts with Sylvester as Porky's cowardly pet cat.
This cartoon, and, "Terrier Stricken," are the best of the best! It's too bad that funny cartoons like this aren't made today, for the kids of today!?!?
Frisky Puppy is the type of character you either find absolutely adorable and funny or incredibly annoying. As a kid, I never saw the appeal since he barked so much it was grating. As an adult (and a first time dog owner) I finally get the humor that Chuck Jones instilled in Frisky. He's funny because he's NOT an exaggeration; he's EXACTLY how a young puppy acts! He's also a new favorite of mine!
@Jaybird2268 how do you think the looney tunes show will be. and who do you like more claude cat or frisky i like claude cat i also like sylvester and mmarc anthony and the little kitten he likes. and whats the names of the two mice ones name is hubbie but i forget the other mouses name.
@MOVIEmania709 I think the characters look kinda dumb, but i'm glad that they're bringing looney tunes back, and I hope that the new cartoons will be ok. I think it would have been better to put the original cartoons back on tv instead of wb trying to make a caartoon that won't come anywhere near the talent and originality of chuck jones, mel blanc , and everyone else.
I like frisky because he reminds me of my dog, but claude is also my favorite. I like tweety better than sylvester
@Jaybird2268 Uh, if you haven't figured it out yet, the original shorts are back as well, and have been since March. And 3D animated bugs bunny? Bugs never appeared in 3D (at least not yet). Are you talking about the new show (which is in 2-d)? They only created 3d shorts for coyote and road runner, and soon a daffy duck and tweety short (latter two using original mel blanc tracks). Anyway, check Cartoon Network if you haven't, keep tuning in to the shorts when they air, they're on everyday.

@krystlerita That's exactly what I was thinking. The little mannerisms and the growling, they're so lifelike.
