  • For some reason the 32x version uses pippens face on every other player. But the funniest part is that scottie pippen has bj armstrongs face. Don't believe me see for yourselves.

  • The jaguar version of nba jam reminds me of that Arch Rivals game... I dont care for this version. But I must admit the gameplay looks/feels much better than the Playstation version. Its a shame none of the home versions ever matched up to the arcade.

  • @ColorsBright This game was as close to the arcade as you could get.

  • I didn't even know this was on the Atari! That's pretty awesome!

  • looks like a good version but i think the 32x version is better

  • epic music

  • Hell yeah, this is the best version of this game I ever seen!!! Check out my channel if you wanna see me play a match on the SNES version with a couple of cheats...of course! Great video, such a shame Jaguar never caught on though I guess...like Mega cd and Dreamcast...it was ahead of its time so the masses just werent ready!

  • nose sniffing? sniffing on some hot babes ass?

  • this version looks too cartoony

  • Game was great for its time.... just sold my te ps1 version... gonna get it when it hits 360.

  • This version is pretty good, the best at the time it came out. I sold my copy after getting it on the PlayStation, which I like way more because it's the closest to the arcade original.

  • @arioca No version of NBA Jam is worse than the Xbox reboot. I hated the "hotspot" feature, which didn't give you an option to turn off and gave the CPU a billion chances to get it and destroy you.

  • @arioca No it isnt. You need to compare the Saturn and PSX versions to the arcade. They go in a different direction than the arcade version. If you like those versions better thats fine but they are not closer to the Arcade than the Jag or the 32x versions.

Well the static on the main title screen is closer, but thats about it.

  • @A31Chris

    retard.

The only NBA Jam game on PS1 and Saturn was NBA Jam Extreme, which sucked. The Jaguar had the best version of classic NBA Jam.

  • @GamingPalooza You are saying the PSX and Saturn did not have a version of NBA Jam TE?

  • @GamingPalooza You are saying the PSX and Saturn did not have a version of NBA Jam TE?

  • This version it is probably the best console adapation of TE.

  • The Sega Saturn Version is By far the best i have this game for every system they made it for.

  • @VirtualRetroGamer The Sega Saturn version IS NOT accurate to the arcade as the Jaguar version is. The Saturn and PSX version are scaled in closer, the porportions of the players are different. Everything is more exaggerated even than the arcade version. If you like that version best thats fine but its not as accurate to the arcade as the Jag version.

  • this was by far the best home console version of NBA Jam. sad that Atari couldn't push it, marketwise.

  • I think my favorite version is the SNES T.E. I didn't care much for the Genesis sound and the Jaguar Controller... But that may be cause I grew up with T.E. on SNES.

  • as if anyone would pick jeff hornacek over john stockton...lol

  • @0Utubeuser Haha! Yeah, but eventually stockton will get injured the way I play the game ;)

  • Obviously this game was released on pretty much every platform around(though it strangely missed the 3DO), but this version still looks very nice indeed. Peeking at other vids online, it definitely stands above the Sega CD and 32X versions. In fact, I have to admit that it's roughly on par with the Saturn version! Nice score for the Jag.

  • The closest you'll get to the arcade on a home console is the Jaguar, Playstation, and PC versions.

  • Eh, Jaguar and 32X for this game, only diff is the Jag was able to have CD music due to being disk, where 32X was Cart.

  • Um, no, both Jaguar and 32X versions are cartridge.

And the 32X version, better than the Saturn version? Yeah, I don't think so.

  • @ephiany1 I do. I own them both. The Saturn is not that great, actually it's a giant POS.

  • @meowmmmmm "The Saturn is not that great" - man, that's got to be the funniest trolling statement I've read in months.

  • @meowmmmmm

The saturn is not great? Then you are not a gamer... Sega Saturn is a technical powerful machine that played many games arcade perfect, especially with a 4MB video addon cartridge. Jaguar was a great console as well but Saturn, especially in Japan, was a very superior console.

  • @GamingPalooza The Saturn had some good conversions, and for that it was great. The Saturn sucked in it's hardware design and build which made it very expensive and hard to program for. It would have been cool to see Atari and Sega get together after the lawsuit and have Atari build a CD based console, and Sega do the marketing... But Atari sucked at marketing, and Sega could not make the saturn cheap enough....

  • Hell, NBA Jam is awesome enough that any console it's on it'd be fun. :)

  • this is?! Holy hell, this is one of the best ones for the system... easily.

  • It quite clear you've never played Jaguar to post a comment like this. You're the biggest LIAR I've ever heard. Have you ever heard of Club Drive?

  • youre a dumbass...

the jaguar version of this game is far superior than the snes and genesis version....moron

  • im sure its not... faggot

  • ok...go to click on a video that has nba jam for the snes and genesis and see for yourself.....moron....

  • why do the players have giant heads in this game?

  • It's a cheat code.

There are quite a few you can do.

Check out my review of the same game and I explain a little and you can see what the other codes do.

  • these are the best graphics ever lol

  • It is nice how they used the character scaling like in the arcade. When you run closer to the foreground your character gets larger and smaller when you run away.

  • I'm glad you commented, because that's not something I would have noticed.

    Thanks for the insight :-)

  • Sega 32X TE did same thing.

  • Definitely sounds better than the Genesis version, this is on par with the 32 bit ports on the Saturn and PS1.

  • this music in this version is very good X D

  • Players look great, but is it me, or does the crowd look worse than in the PS1 and Saturn versions?, like its less colorful or something.

  • Stockton and Malone for the win.

  • There are no more guys like Stockton and Malone in the NBA.

It's all flash and bling crap now

  • I use to play as Utah all the time too. :)

  • Definitely the best cartridge rendition of the game :)

  • It may be the best console version period.

  • I agree. This version beats the PSX version.
