Also Soap (remember him?) try to find Makarov's location with a special ops team. They rescue Prisoner 627 and it turns out it's Price from the first modern warfare. So they track down Makarov and find out that they have to search two areas. so Soap and Price take a boneyard in Afghanistan, and Ghost and Roach, two more special ops soldiers, take a safehouse. Ghost and Roach get betrayed by their leader, Gen. Shepard. and Price and Soap track him down and kill him. The opening clip is soap

Remember, Russian terrorist, Makarov, kills lots of civilians. U.S. sends a CIA agent to gain Makarov's trust and operate from inside his terrorist group. Makarov figures out that the agent, Joseph Allen, is an American agent and executes him. Then Russians find the body of American then declare war thinking this attack was an american attack instead of a terrorist attack from Makarov. So Russians invade America to kill every american they can reach.
