  • I keep my rifles in a hermetically sealed, nitrogen purged glass case. I always wipe fingerprints off before storage, and send them back to the manufacturer after every 100 rounds to have all springs replaced, and re-barreled. One can never be too careful.

  • @TheChatham1967 lol I dont know I think you should never shoot your guns, all that pressure, shock, vibration, and just think of the friction and metal damage associated with pushing a piece of copper and lead down a barrel when the bullet has to be deformed to fit through the threads!

  • What's the point of having a grip if you're not going to use it? :p

  • your fucking crazy, damn if i would shoot my gun in the rain

  • @RiflemanExpert why would you not shoot in the rain? We hunt, drive, fight, and everything else in the rain. In oregon there is only a few months out of the year with out rain. Sounds like you would limit your recreation or work pretty significantly if you were only a fair weather shooter.

  • @lilwilie2375 if you live in oregan thats a different story, but i like to take care of my rifle and thats including not going out in the rain and making it rusty, sure you can prevent it but i take no chances, i coddle my rifle so im not putting it in dirty ass rain on a dirty table

  • @RiflemanExpert

All of my guns work just fine in the rain. You might look into some firearms that don't fall apart when wet- seems like some experience with guns that don't self destruct when *gasp* OUTDOORS might be something a "RIFLEMAN EXPERT" would want to experience. :)

  • @zentanker your a dumbass and missing the point of what i said i was taught my whole life by my dad to keep my weapons oiled cleaned and spotless, no dust, no grime, no water, nothing, just as he learned in the marine corps, and just as they taught me, by the way, riflemen expert is a badge in the marines signifying you scored 305/350, and shooting at least 40/65 hits, i shot 63/65 hits, at that's at distances between 200 and 500 yards. like i said nothing bad will touch my rifle

  • @RiflemanExpert

To call someone a dumbass, you should learn the difference between "your" and "you're" so that you don't discredit yourself as being a moron from the VERY FIRST WORD YOU TYPE.

That being said, no, I didn't miss the point, you did. I don't care what your pappy or the marines told you we have moved out of the rusty musket era. Our rifles function JUST FINE IN THE RAIN. Who was Commander in Chief when you served? Napoleon?

KEEP YER POWDER DRY SON YA HEAR

  • @zentanker i thought i graduated school and had a right to be lazy when typing in a social networking site and not trashed for mistyping to a loser, but no, if i let some mud or grime or dirt get in my M16A4 service rifle then it will not function properly, lol when was napoleon ever our commander AND chief, you fucking stupidass, lol whose really dumb now, proves you should learn to not spell some things as you hear them and learn we are not french

  • Is that a Trijicon sight?

  • what kind of sight is on the first ar?? please respond, thanks.

  • @Apuma91 it is the Trijicon reflex 2 that is on it at that point. I now switch between the RX 30 and the ACOG depending on what I am doing with it.

  • "is there one in there?" know the "status" of the weapon "you pick up" to begin with "army pant wearing dumb ass"

  • @lclcmarried12

As a general practice, I would normally set a weapon down with an empty chamber, and always pick one up assuming it is loaded. That being said, what the F is wrong with someone asking "is it loaded?"

  • @zentanker I agree, when multiple people are around, as long as your treating every gun as loaded. Asking if it is loaded is a perfectly valid question.

  • Whats that thing on the end of the barrel of the not silenced one?

  • @JasonMCLOVINBourne A flashhider. It did not look like it, but it may have been a Noveske model.

  • @Moosezorz it is the older noveske 3 piece model before the newer 2 piece. I had it over in afghanistan and Iraq for 4.5 years, so it is pretty beat up and faded.

  • only in america...

  • I like how he points the muzzle in his face at the beginning.

  • @Roseabovethis which part? i can't seem to find a part where he did point the muzzle in his face.

  • @akaQ9 watch in the beginning, around 11 seconds.

  • @Roseabovethis still didn't catch it. He waved it in front, but not pointing on his face. Unless you're talking about something else that i didn't see.

  • less recoil or is it jus me?

  • @irGawd777 Suppressors do reduce the recoil significantly. Compaired to a muzzle brake, the impulse is more like a longer push than a sharp impulse

  • off my computer, the AR with the silencer actually sounds louder

  • @ChronicCaptivation thats because camera microphones don't pick up the decibel levels of an unsuppresed firearm. Just like when you watch a sports game and the crowd is much louder in person then on t.v. The reason the suppressed one is louder then is because most of it's noise is registered on the microphone whereas the unsuppressed one just shuts it down. Watch a few more videos and you'll start to see the pattern

  • @TownPiligan14 thanks, but i wasn't confused, just thought it was ironic

  • awesome gun :)

  • With a barrel that short it's going to have a hell of a sound (for a 223 anyway). And I'm not sure but isn't that a suppressor and not a silencer? Or are they the same thing? I live in NY state so I never seen or heard one before.

  • @F50Italia suppressors and silencers mean the same thing. its just preference which one u say :P

  • still pretty loud eh

  • lol I find that YT videos never really do suppressors justice. Its kind of something that you need to experience in person.

  • GOD DAM I LOVE THIS COUNTRY!

  • Sometimes I think the US gun laws r fucking stupid but then when i see this i think why cant i buy one lol

  • @kenny01622 The AR ban in the 90's (now defunt) said that AR barrels had flash supressers were illegal. Flash supressers supress the flash for the shooter, but not for the one being shot. In fact, it made the shooter more visible. The sound supresser or "silencer' can hide ALL flash, but they were still legal. US lawmakers are fucked in the head man.

  • @rifleman1002 Hah yeh they r a bit, I mean being able to buy hollow points sums it up really lol theyre only meant for one thing and that doesnt involve shooting paper targets, more like to blow ur neighbors head of when he plays his music too loud lol

  • @kenny01622 Don't get me started on magazines.

  • That place is beautiful! I'd love to just take a walk through there, or go mountain-biking.

  • @SwaffyX out near silverton oregon

  • the first one was much more badass looking

  • Who's moostang in the background I have a 94 GT, with the R rims.

  • Ok thanks! I'll check those out. I have the Sig mini red dot sight right now because it came with the rifle. Not sure of the part #.

  • I'm looking to buy an AR 15 in the next few days. Who is the maker of the first gun he shoots? Also what kind of scope is on it?

    Thanks!

  • @brianhasadd sorry to be slow to get back to you, this is a friends page and not mine, the specs are in the comments further back in history. But you cant buy it, it was made by the user.

  • @lilwilie2375 Thanks! I bought my AR-15, now I'm looking for a better scope than what came with it.

  • @brianhasadd it all depends on money, I have a 1x4 us optics on that rifle now, but I also really like the low power Trijicons as well. But if you want to make every one drool, the new Leupold M8 is what has me drooling right now.

  • @lilwilie2375 Thanks! I ended up buying a Nikon 223 for my AR. I like it but it's nothing permanent. I'm looking at either an Aimpoint or an Eotech for my next site/scope.

  • maybe i was being bull-shitted but I've heard of one guy using some ridiculously heavy rounds in a .243... i know you guys wouldn't believe it by the way you responded to my post

  • cool, thnx for the feedback guys.... I still feel that a fairly high weight could be achieved with custom tooled rounds..... expensive? sure.... I was just speculating on the possibility.... 77gr just came across as being pretty light-weight

  • nice foregrip. you should use it

  • lol ur gun is pretty sexy :P

  • The second rifle is the shooters and is also a 10.5 in barrel with a hogue handrail and I am very pleased with the look and feel of it with the M402 on it. If I had to do it over again, I would drill and tap a few holes in it to put a few short rails on for a verticle grip and or light. The idea was to keep it lighter, and smooth and not hang up on anything.

you guys really need to chill out on getting worked up about silencer or supressor. Slang is a part of American culture

  • The first rifle is a SBR that I built and it has a 10.5 in mod 0 chamber pacnor noveske heavy barrel with a 10 in larue hand rail and upper. It has a hold drilled in the handguard to adjust the gastube which is important with a supressor because of the increse in back pressure. It also has a KX3 on it when the supressor is removed to help with back pressure. GGG flip up sights and reflex 2 site. I do like the surefire light, but very heavy with everything else on it.

  • @ArmyElevenBravo It's people like YOU who give our armed forces a bad name. And just so you know, the military does NOT make the best marksmen, not by a long shot. I would have to agree with HatrXx78 about having to dumb it down for the amount of total retards who join the army. I have experienced dumb-asses like you firsthand. Also, sounds like you're the one who needs some attention from his boyfriend "now you can suck my cock AND cradle my balls"... wow.

  • @89jdm7m Sweet jesus! You would have to use something like depleted uranium or tungsten to squeeze 250 gr. out of that puny ass .223 projectile! Your'e talking .45 cal. weight there!

  • Uhhh you mean Suppressor! .223 rounds are not sub sonic.

  • @Rtfn88 even if we were shooting sub sonic rounds, the arm chair commandos would get their panties in a wad if we used the word silencer. Changing the name for the type of ammo will not satiate any of those people that want to think they are smarter than you because they know a more "propper" term. It's all good, normal people know what both words mean and that no gun is ever silent, subsonic or not.

  • hrm... i still think aside from the rounds you can readily get a hold of... there ought to be somewhere to get custom rounds that are at LEAST 250gr.... maybe i'm talkin outa my ass, maybe i'm poorly informed from other people talkin out their ass... that IS a real possibility.

  • @89jdm7m cute little comment, but not as far as off base as all the negative feedback you mighta got. We also have a 300 whisper that uses 220 grain 30 cal bullets and love the gun. Outside of handloading though it is stupid expensive to shoot.

  • What brand was the first gun?

  • @CCVEEDE both guns were built by david and scott of williamsmountain mfg they have all sorts of part on them.

  • why wouldn't you handload a much heavier round? 77gr is light as hell... seems like you'd be able to do at least a 250gr (if not much more)

  • @89jdm7m in 5.56?? no.. 77 is about as heavy as it gets. some guys hand-load single-shot 80gr loads for competition, but you cannot get any heavier than that.

  • @89jdm7m mmmmmmmm no not so much, even 77 is pushing it ya gota go to 300 whisper if you want weight

  • i thought the m4-02 was the small can they jus came out with , this one looks full size

  • @MultiSr16 m402 has been out a long time, the trek is the new one, shorter and fatter

  • @lilwilie2375 i was thinkin the ops inc m4s., the tiny one that jus came out., wrong company though , my bad., good call

  • wow way to put the safety on AFTER you put the rifle down. if those ACU pants mean you're a soldier then somebody didn't train you right.

  • @ArmyElevenBravo Cool your jets Sgt. Slaughter...nobody wants to hear from the safety Sallys. If you spent more time watching and less time trying to sound like an internet expert you would know that he motioned on the safety and apparently it didn't fully click....not to mention that the weapon was in a safe direction. Let's be honest.. the only reason the military, especially the Army breaks it down so simple is for the shear number of morons they deal with.

  • @HatrXx78 better idea...how about you suck my cock? if you want to look like a pro, handle your weapon like one. a simple "roger, i fucked up" would have sufficed. instead you want to act like I'M fucked up...and drop that chicken wing. your fundamentals are all dicked up, and your shooting stance is feminine. i wouldn't want you in my fire team, even with your faggoty fuckin ACU pants that i'm sure you paid for.

  • @ArmyElevenBravo Are you retarded? Perfect example as to why everything in the Army is Barney style simple... I'm NOT IN THIS VIDEO RETARD.

  • @HatrXx78 and you can insult my intelligence all day. as long as you remember that i GET PAID TO DO what you PAY TO DO, it's all good.

  • @HatrXx78 now i'm realizing that the shooter and the poster are 2 different people. so get off your boyfriend's lap and realize that all those toys don't make him a better fighter. and i'm no internet expert, but i'm lethal with a rifle up to a mile. so now you can suck my cock AND cradle my balls.

  • @ArmyElevenBravo sigh.... poster? I didn't POST this video either. I merely replied to the typical internet commando comment that I read. Mile huh? Please tell me what rifle you are using that is good to a mile? I'm done with your foolery. Go ahead and keep buying the brainwashed confidence the government has spoon fed to you. Keep posting ridiculous insults and derogatory remarks and go around correcting people's techniques... you just prove my point more.

  • "Pretty good?" I think you underestimate how friggin' awesome your AR15 is.

  • Its not a fuckin silencer, it i suppressor!

  • @trueblue151 AAC calls 'em silencers so who gives a shit

  • @trueblue151 slang my friend, relax, it is not really something to get very worked up about.

  • I switch my sbr out 9/223 both suppressed, love them both subsonics with the 9 and with the 223 got the 22lr conversion, thats nice but get a can you can clean/take apart, and clean it alot!!

  • It is more a suppressor.

  • PART-02: Subsonic ammo is used when the operator needs to be latterly silent (eliminating 1-2 man patrols with out alerting over personnel who may be close). The sub-s ammo is generally less powerful and is not used as a primary assault weapon because of a low stopping power and the fact that it usually requires manual cycling. The type of ammo used with the right gun is a contributing factor to sound reduction. The right .22 ammunition used with the right gun can reduce the sound to a click.

  • PART-01: Flash/sound suppressors are used in conjunction with supersonic ammo not to eliminate all sound but to dampen it in a fire fight this makes it harder for the enemy to pin point where the sound is coming from and by eradicating the muzzle flash completely with sub and super sonic ammo stops the enemy finding the operator by scanning for the flash (essential for night ops).

  • its a suppressor, not a silencer, didnt sound to silenced to me, sounds like the report was SUPRESSED.........hence the name.......

  • You guy bitch like a bunch of women

  • nice vid. pretty happy with the 402?

  • @wallace11bravo got it quite a while ago, would love a Ti trek, but was not available at the time. The small size vs alot of the quick disconnect ones is really nice also. But I dont really take it on and off that much. I just had my MSAR threaded to put it on though, and even though it is louder than the AR, you can go with out hearing protection, oohhh I can hear you safety salleys now with db numbers, but I choose to, but the MSAR is shorter than the 10.5 in ar with the KX3 on it

  • @lilwilie2375 I ultimately went with a standard threaded Trek. Should be picking it up any day now.

  • @wallace11bravo I think you will be happy with it, the short length and light weight are great. Also with slightly elevated sights it works great on ruger pistols and dont forget to get a threaded barrel on a 1022 also. I try and shoot at least a clip of 223 every few hundred 22 rounds though. The lead does build up and you will notice flakes loose or rattle in the can after the first few shots and blow out. I am not a big safety salley on eye protection but I put it on when going 22 to 223

  • 2nd one subsonic?

  • nice GT love the SN-95 W/ y2k cobra R wheels

  • LOL sounds like u live in there rain forest and looks like it

  • the AR is loud even surpressed the M4 Supressed sounds quieter for some reason

  • youtube doesnt justify the real amount of noise :(

  • @magicaltrevor50 good point, and there are things working against it compaired to other videos, the 10.5 in barrel makes it a lot louder along with the tree cover and huge metal wall on the shop

  • thats awesome! love that ding! wouldnt normally hear what you are hitting over the sound of the typical rifle crack

  • @joe69rocket we use expired high pressure welding tanks. We cut off the bottom so they turn into a bell and really let the sound out. The 223 burns though but you can hit it hundreds of times as it rotates. Then we just go back with a welder and fill in the holes every now and then and they last a long long time. Supressors tend to sound louder under tree cover and the large metal side of the garage tends to increse the precieved noise. The bell really brings out the differance in thesound

  • Nice weapons, I have heard and used suppressors that were more quite. What brand is that one if you don't mind.?

  • if u read the title of the vid it say's Gemtech M4-02

  • Sorry about that, I can't read. : (

  • @scubaguy007 dont rely on youtube to campair, so many things come into play, barrel length has a huge effect but cover and things around you will also make it seem much more significant than out in an open field. the only way to really guage sound is with a meter.

  • what is the quad rail/forearm length and the barrel length please?

  • i like the float tube look with that suppressor

    nice gun!

  • quiet enough that you could hear the steel being hit... pretty nice man thanks for the demo.... 5 stars

    peace

  • I love that "ting"

I dream about it at night......

  • ill go with the second choice

  • i want one

  • Then join the military and risk being shot, burned alive, bombed, decapitated, knifed or drowned to death. And other horrible stuff. Or buy one. =)

  • I'll take the option number two for 10,000. I still like and respect the military tho

  • You do that ;)

  • its not about the sound in combat situations. The better term would be suppressed, it is called such becuase it is used to suppress sound and more importantly the Flash. At night you dont want to give you postion away by your flash.

  • Man, video games really decieve you in terms of your understanding of a silencer AHAHAH

I thought a silencer makes it completely silent.

  • i thank you have both a silencer and a suppreser a flash suppreser does the flash but not the noise which i thank would be worse hearing it happen but not knowin i agree

  • its actually spelled "think" not thank. god its bad when people start putting a southern drawl into their text.

  • ya i know but i meant it 2 be like that sorry

  • Let's see... Alot of rain, alot of trees, alot of gunshots... feels like a deja-vu.

  • i know these can be great fun but what can you use them for? fun i know ive shot both the AK and the AR but what are they good for?

  • You can use them both for hunting and home defense. I shoot hogs and coyotes with my ar all the time.

  • Lmao, that's awesome!

  • u need subsonic ammo

  • @painfull94

subsonic wont cycle a semi auto's bolt..... if he was shooting a bolt gun, then yes subs would be a good idea.

  • @painfull94

subsonics will not work correctly in an m16.

The twist rate is for high velocity rounds.

  • i dont understand the concept of supressing an AR-15, they shoot .223 wish is supersonic ammunition, so all you would silence was the initial firing of the gun but not the bullet breaking the sound barrier, so how does this work? i thought that most AR-15's that are supressed are modified to shoot 9mm. anyone explain how any of this works :S?

  • Fairly certain they make subsonic AR-15 ammo, I could be wrong though :/

  • just didnt understand it, thanks for the reply

  • That's exactly what it does - and it makes a good 30 dB or so reduction in noise. Still, if yo use a subsonic round in the AR-15, it's going to be pretty quiet. Although that would reduce its use to tactical situations, because of increased bullet drop. With standard .223 Remmy's or 5.56x45, a scope and a good silencer, you can quietly take out the target at a longer range (say 300-400m) without the whole hassle of using subsonic ammo and getting close to the target.

  • If the round is supersonic like the .223, it will make a very loud noise and it passes the sound barrier. The gasses forced down the barrel also makes noise added to the initial firing itself. A suppressor, depending on the type, funnels these gasses out tiny vents, reducing a large percentage of the noise. By no means "silenced" but it makes it a lot more difficult to locate where the shot was fired from and eliminates most of the muzzle flash.

  • whats that ting sound?

  • He is shooting Steel plates

  • is the first ar15 and sbr? how long is the barrel? and how long is the hand gard

  • yeah its looks like 10.5 with mid lenght hand-guard usually 10 inches

  • *Drools*, sweet rigs sir.

  • the second gun look so nice, badass

  • Is the first sbr a 10.5"?

  • is it raining?

  • Goes from 165dbs to 120.

  • Use subsonics. The sonic crack ruins the whole point of the suppressor.

  • Kind of pointless using subsonic cartridges. The .223 averages at 2,700 ft/sec. Dropping it below 1,100 ft/sec would defeat it's purpose.

  • A sub 1,100fps 77gr jhp or frangible still does enough damage to kill a human, especially with a shot to the head. Suppressors are just meant to be fired with a subsonic round. The supersonic crack is like wearing a ghillie suit, but jumping up and down in the middle of the field. It ruins it.

  • LMAO i love your comparison. I literally busted out laughing.

  • @goodmango that may be true, but in a way you can't tell exactly where the supersonic crack is coming from..... well you can, just not as easily as the sound of the actual round. but i do see your point.

  • @goodmango I would be the guy in the ghillie suit.

  • @goodmango One of the main purposes of a suppressor when used with supersonic rounds (Which is most of the time) is for hearing protection.

  • @Zibigan GOD DAMNIT!!!! a suppressor and silencer ARE NOT the same things!!!! and all you guys talk like you know what you're saying.

  • @IIKiboshII I said nothing about a silencer i said suppressor dumb shit. The only "silencers" are for small bullets like 22LR. Just like an idiot to use gods name in vain.

  • @Zibigan Yes, you said suppressor, but you ment silencer. you where answering a question someone asked about why anyone would need a silencer. So... just like an idiot to try and make shit up.

  • @IIKiboshII your so cute when your pissed about something that does not really matter!

  • @lilwilie2375 Jesus christ dude... do you even have a life? How the hell did you find my comment from like, a year ago? Then you leave like, a million comments.... fuck man, I feel kinda bad.

  • That's not entirely true. Even using sub-sonic ammo suppressors can be louder than shouting. The main purpose of a suppressor is to conceal the location of the shot. The super sonic crack is audible when the bullet passes near you, not so much if your way off to the side a few hundred feat. I have been down range when rounds from a 5.56x 45 was being shot 5 over my head at 500 yards. you don't hear the gun shot much at all, just the echo. thats unsuppressed.

  • @goodmango not entirely, the direction of a sonic crack is extremely hard to locate, as opposed to a muzzle bang... also supresses the flash... good for night shooting in military applications... in a civilian market, i dont see a need for suppressors one way or another tho...

  • @lobzdik noise pollution control, helps prevent hearing damage, and its just a lot nicer. Suppressors should be legal to buy over the counter.

Its not like criminals obey gun laws, they can get shit black market if they have some cash. You only punish law abiding people with gun laws.

Always remember, gun laws dont apply to criminals. In mexico everything is banned, but the drug cartels still have rpgs, grenade launchers, belt fed machine guns, hand grenades, everything.

  • @labartic oh no, i completely agree that guns laws dont apply to criminals... thats what i always say too... but free distribution of suppressors will aid the black market for the suppressors grow wildly

  • @goodmango another reason to use a silencer is to make it sound like something else...if u you understand what i am trying to say? even with subsonic ammo...most weapons & calibers are still pretty loud especially automatic weapons with moving parts.

  • @goodmango

ok, show me a link to buy some subsonic 5.56mm ammo

  • @castanza128 It's simple. Go to google.com, type .223 subsonic into the field, press enter, and click shopping at the top and you will see a lot of places to get it. You can also do like a lot of people and reload your own .223/5.56 rounds to subsonic velocities. Getting the subsonic ammo is much easier than getting the suppressor.

  • @goodmango

Is google gonna keep me from getting baffle strikes as well?

Will google cycle the bolt for me every time I fire?

I understand subsonic ammo is easier to get than the can, but if it won't work correctly......why bother?

I've always heard that "Subsonic .223" is pretty much an oxymoron.

  • @goodmango Well, if you're down range it will be almost impossible to determine where the shot came from even with supersonic rounds because the suppressor reduces the muzzle blast and that is the only sound that actually comes from any "one" direction. The supersonic crack moves out in all directions so you can't tell which way it came from. So the suppressor is still very effective.

  • @goodmango nice comparison lol. or maybe wearing a ghillie suit in an urban environment, haha, just doesnt work lol.

  • @goodmango Wrong, a silencer/suppressor is still very useful even with full power rounds as even though you can still hear the crack of the supersonic it's still rather hard to pinpoint the exact direction of the shots, also full power cartridges benefit from the extra length the silencer/suppressor provides by giving it a more consistent velocity, making long range shots more consistently accurate.

  • subsonics are almost pointless in 223. It's almost the same as shooting 22lr subs.

  • Read my above comment again. Now, in addition to the fact that a .22lr/.223sub can kill a person with a shot to the head or other vital areas, you can actually get up to a 90gr projectile on a subsonic .223 round, which is 2-3 times as heavy as a .22lr. You also are not taking into consideration the tumbling effect that many rounds are designed for that creates a significantly larger wound channel than the diameter of the slug itself.

  • @goodmango the lack of power with subsonics really sucks and the lack or reliable cycling sucks as well. I shot a racoon under the house a few years ago with subsonic and it just got pissed at me and spit bloot at me till I switched mags and used some hollowpoints at full power. I can deal with some sonic crack to get a little more pop outa the little gun.

  • nice SBR
