Matt- props for your videos! but i have one grain of advice when doing skull crushers(or anything for that matter)- Try to keep your elbows from flailing around and you'll grow more muscle. maybe, drop to a more comfortable weight and concentrate on muscle contraction instead of just "getting alot of weight". I avoid skull crushers because there's a huge possibility of elbow injury when performing them with heavy weights. Thanks- Jason

Okay you're young and you can do 45 plates on each side, but if you're planning to workout your whole life, it's smart to start considering your joints now. Go easy on your joints. The media doesn't show it, but Schwarzenegger can barely walk from all the stress he put on his joints when he was a bodybuilder. I could give you a list of other bodybuilders/wrestlers that are having a hard time in their 40's and 50's as well. Lighter weight, increased reps is better.
@ScrapNfight Training will actually do the opposite .. your joints will GRADUALLY ADAPT to the weight ... so you have stronger joints that can handle a lot of weight... Arnold is 63 years old and he's perfectly healthy for his age
@zozdude Actually Arnold is not looking as good as he could these days, but thats more due to the years of steroid abuse and the open heart surgery he had because of it.
@zozdude I've been in the same room with Frank Zane. I know what he looks like and THAT does not look good. A man of 64 needs a little body fat to look healthy. He should not be that lean, looking like a skeleton with some muscle and veins draped over his bones.
You seem to use lockout in every excercise you do, ever tried of stopping just before lockout just to keep the muscle in tension throughout the movement? - just asking, not questioning your methods because they obviously work for you. Good job
