Adachi is definitely my favorite character in the game, simply because he's so insanely badass. I mean, he starts out as Matsuda (From Death Note), always screwing up and being a total goofball. And then BAM! He's suddenly Light (Also from Death Note) at his worst, just killing people for the fun of it, because he feels he deserves the right to do so.

Can't freakin' WAIT to see how he turns out in the anime! Hopefully we will learn more about his past! :-D

@AverruncusFate Lol it did happen to me once in my first playthrough and I had to fight a normal Shadow XD, I think this is triggered in every dungeon but for the Reaper to appear is probably above the first playthrough or in Magatsu Inaba mostly.

The fact that the main character and Adachi have the same Persona says a lot about Adachi I think. Adachi is pretty much who the main protagonist would become if he didn't have his friends by his side. Like Adachi, the main character is brilliant, a hard worker, and cynical. But since the main character had so many great friends by his side, he comes out of his shell and becomes a happier person, while Adachi shut himself in and became more of a monster than a man.

@stupogo0 I believe it is used for some kinda effect. For P3 its simple why the good and "bad" guy sound the same cos they technically are the same. For P4 I like the idea below that Adachi's personality is very similar to the MC. The only difference being life experiences. If Adachi had friends like MC he would be very similar in personality. Maybe they only do it for extra cash, but why then dont any other character VA's do it? E.g. Kanji's voice actor Troy Baker could have easily been used.

@seedXzero I suspect that might have been the whole point. Adolescence is all about emotion over reason. Adachi made good points, stuff that can get people thinking, but nobody from the crew could possibly respond rationally because of how emotionally charged they were at that moment.

He deserves nothing better than being called a worthless criminal, because that's all he was. A piece of trash thrown away as a punishment for nobody's failure but his own, used as a pawn by forces greater than himself, and twisted into something much worse than he normally would have been. wow.......this was an incredibly depressing song for me. Persona 4 was the last game I fully played through before I moved out. I remember hearing this song when I only had a week left at home. So the inspiration I had to finish this game was stemmed not only from my desire to beat this game, but to wish a final goodbye.
