@HEAVYMETALGODS86feb9 I came here for the soundtrack, I thought the film itself was rubbish but what I gathered from the "plot" was that the Surfer's home was already destroyed... So you'd do what he did even after your world had already been destroyed? Rather than avenging their deaths. Cause you're not saving them, that wasn't the choice, they were already gone, destroyed by Galactus. Just sayin' he was collaborating to save his own skin, his family and race were already gone as far as I know.

Are all of the Surfer's race like him, if so why did Galactus stand a chance against them? I mean he just flew into it and killed the evil cloud of doom. It makes about as much sense as the way the power absorbing mechanic changed in the film to suit the, stupid, stupid plot. Good soundtrack though!

@CaptainTrekkie I'm not trying to defend the plot or anything, but the Surfer's race isn't like him, Galactus gave him his power. It wasn't until he made contact with Susan Storm that he had a revelation and flew into "Galactus" (a.k.a Hungry Cloud). It's still a ridiculous plot hole, but that's what happened and, hopefully, they freakin' reboot this franchise soon!!! ;/

@Funnyman519 I didn't know that, if that was explained in the film then I totally missed it. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot though, what with empowering the Surfer. The first paragraph on the wikipedia page seems to explain more about the Silver Surfer than the film did. If he did it to save his planet that's another thing I guess, some conscience leading Galactus to all those other worlds. Thanks for clearing up some of that. (They also should have shot Doom on site.)

The Silver Surfer movie can have this song again. Or better yet, a new score with a bigger theme than the one from FF2. James Newton Howard or Steve Jablonsky for musical score. Dariusz Wolski (Sweeney Todd and Pirates Trilogy) for cinematography.

I think the Silver Surfer film should be made as a "lone film". The movie can show how Silver Surfer came to be and his missions throughout space. I think the plot should focus on Silver Surfer trying to find redemption within himself after being convinced by a major character in the story. I also think the movie can take place in another planet instead of Earth and Zen-La.

Rise of the Silver Surfer was in my opinion better than the original but I think both films had some problems. They say a third film is NOT in the works. I think this franchise is in need of a reboot unlike some other franchises that r just doing it for the sake of of rebooting. Saying that i'd love 2 c a Silver Surfer spin off.

A reboot would be great. It should take itself a bit more serious, has a bit of a dark edge to it, and show a Doom as I want to see him. No wealthy businessman victim of greed, but the Doom being a tyrant of Latveria and living in a dark castle in the middle of Doomstadt. Doom should be creepy. He's got so much potential to be creepy as hell... I heard rumors they ARE going to make a reboot. if so that'd be good news...

I hope so. I think they should make it alot more accurate to the story and have Doom as a tyrant with a scarred face. I mean he is a classic villain in every sens eof the term not just a FF, Marvel or even comics villain he IS the archtypical villain. If every Marvel hero was part of 1 team Doom would b the archnemisis to that team, he is the villain for the Marvel Universe

Well I want as many adaptations as Mrvel comics as possible, so I'd prefer some classic avengers villains before we go into movie crossovers. I'd vote for either Loki, Zemo or Red Skull as the main villain in the movie and then Ultron in the 2nd film and Kang in the third. Now Kang should b a crossover villain witht hte FF.

Red Skull could b in the same category for Marvel's ultimate villain, but Magneto hates him cos he's a Nazi, whereas ppl just hate Doom. Doom is also the absolute archtypical mad scientist villain that hhas achieved godhood I quite a few times as well as being the main villain in Marvel's first ever Summer Crossover Secret Wars Where he gained Galactus's and the Beyonder's powers. Also he is the arch enemy of the Reed Richards and the FF, the Marvel's first family

Doom has faced more heroes than Red Skull. Just because "everyone hates him" doesn't mean Red Skull is a better villain for the movie then Doom. Aside that I doubt Red Skull could be a good villain for so many heroes. He's a smart, slippery creep but if the Avengers would assemble and attack him directly they could easily beat him. Doom, however, stands his own against multiple foes.

Still, I agree with 227060, a true Avengers villain WOULD make more sense. A Skrull invasion sounds logical to

On that I agree. The Red Skull is cap's main enemy, so it would indeed make sense seeing how Cap's the leader of the Avengers (in the comics atleast). But actually I think the avengers will have a larger threat to face. An alien invasion perhaps. But I was thinking, how 'bout the Masters of Evil? They could use the masters of evil as well. Of course, that WOULD bring the risk of having to many characters in a movie, but still. The idea sounds pretty cool. Oh and next to Doom skull's my fave too
