  • Is a 480 Watt spu enough with a Athlon ii x2 250

  • what do you think about 2 gtx 590 graphics cards and what price would they be together?

  • @SpideyX97 wounds pretty awesome but they are going to be expensive and out dated soon

    -Price

  • would a 550 ti be a good physx card paired with probably a 660 or 670

  • If u dont want to spend alot of money.

How big is the differens between i buy another used 9800 gtx+ for like 30-40 dollar on the internet and go sli or sell mine for same amount and buy a 560 card.

Is the differens big and worth the extra like 200 dollar?

Atm. i play SWTOR at lowest settings and would like to play BF3.

    /Cheers

  • @daniellandgrens the single 560 would be much better than the two 9800 GTX+

    -Price

  • @LavcoPriceTech Ok. Cheers.

Is there any signals or rumours that DX 12 will come this year. So i dont buy a 560 card and its old a few months later. What i understand the 560 card allready have been out here close to one year on the market? New cards or standard incomming?

  • @daniellandgrens new cards are coming in about 2 months but they will be DX11 because microsoft has not made DX12, windows 8 only uses DX11.

    -Price

  • @daniellandgrens 2 gtx 550s would be better and cheaper than a 560

  • @Inkwaboom no room for expansion though and not cheaper

    -Price

  • 1000watts for two gtx 580 help me pls!!!!!

  • @YourHobbiesOnUs more thane enough

    -Price

  • @Giddeon87 thanks!

  • @LavcoPriceTech but i saw ln the other comments that you could run 2 460 with a 500 watt power supply. I have had both yes and no from people that i know and also from other youtubers my system specs are Amd phenom x4 3,0 ghz, asus gtx 560 ti, 16 gb ram, motherboard asus m4n75td, 500 gb sata disk and axp 630 watt psu sli certified i want to upgrade to sli but are you 100% shure that it wont work even tough the psu is sli certified???

  • Can i have 2 560 ti with a 630 watt power supply?? HELP!

  • @andrejcemakedonija No. You need more wattage.

    -Lavco

  • @LavcoPriceTech what about two 6850 with a 600Watt?

  • @rubix63 good to go

    -Price

  • @LavcoPriceTech Hi, I was wondering, would a 650Watt power supply be fine for GTX-460 SLI?

  • @XxXsantajewXxX If it has 4 sixpins then good to go

    -Lavco

  • @andrejcemakedonija Just calculate! gtx 560=170watts 170x2= 340 watts 340+ a i5 cpu =MAX 440 watts the other low stuff max 40 Watts, so your 630 psu is fine!

  • lol wires look ugly cause 6 pins are in diff spots on both :P

  • Can I have two gtx 460 with 500 watt powersuply?

  • @SnazzyKebab123 yes

    -Price

  • @LavcoPriceTech Can I run two GTX 560s (Fermi) with an 800watt power supply? This is the only thing holding me back from getting a second 560..im nervous...im fairly new to computers

  • @AzraelTAOD11 buy it right now, you are more than good enough

    -Price

  • @LavcoPriceTech Awesome! Thanks man! Subbed, liked, favorited

  • I have both of my gtx 550 ti's in and it detects both of them, but it is not detecting that they can be put in sli. I have the physX settings, but i have no settings come up for sli... Any suggestions?

  • @ExodusDisplayer are you sure they are both the same card?

  • @BricePash No problem!

    -Lavco

  • why do you keep calling it ninvidia?

  • @PsiloCybinDreamX we didn't

    -Price

  • @LavcoPriceTech u said it like nuh vidia lol its en vidia. u pronounce the n.

  • @GodsNotReal95 I heard nvidia, its kinda like lyrics to a song people hear them differently

    -Price

  • @LavcoPriceTech lol ok well anyway i like the vid, i have an unknown mobo with two pciexpress slots and i want to sli but i dont think its sli compatible. is there software that can make it sli able or drivers maybe?

  • @GodsNotReal95 Yeah actually I have heard about an SLI hack that works well. I have never tried it but you can search for it

    -Price

  • @LavcoPriceTech found it! thanks :D ill sub

  • @LavcoPriceTech Yes you did LOL!

  • I can only sli in motherboards that suport sli? Or i can sli in every motherboard that have enough slots. Thank you.

  • ADATA HM-550W will enough for EVGA GTX460 SLI+ i5-2500k + ASUS P8P67-M PRO?

  • finally some guys telling people that it's not hard... most guides are so hard to understand that you'll most likely just drop it, but these guys did it in 4 min with no problems.

  • say i already installed one of cards and i want to install another do i have to install the drivers for the second card because iv already installed the drivers for the other card that is already in my computer? please reply <3

  • @bumcheeseftw Nope.

    -Lavco

  • @LavcoPriceTech thanks for the answer :)

  • so could i use a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 550 Ti 970MHz and a evga 550ti superclocked.

  • @2k11fluffy yes

    -Price

  • Comment removed

  • i have same cooler+fan

  • i did everything exactly according to the video and i have the same 2 gtx 460 video cards. Not only my fps didn't increase, i think it went down. Please help guys

  • @PhilChern do u have latest drivers?

    -Lavco

  • @LavcoPriceTech I just installed the 290.53 driver and even the nvidia site said that im running in SLI

    Your core specs

    Cores 672 (336 per GPU)

    Memory 2.04GB (1024MB per GPU)

    Graphics clock 813MHz

but nothing, the frs still the same if not worse. I have no idea whats going on. this is kinda frustrating

  • What could possibly happen if I disconnect SLI wire while I am playing?

  • @robrok2010 not sure while playing but I have took mine off while the computer was on, it just disabled sli. One time I noticed it wasn't on all the way when I was playing a game, because the screen had artifacts all over, but I just pushed it down and it fix

    -Price

  • i want to sli a evga 550ti. can i use those two.

  • @2k11fluffy a 560ti will only work with another 560ti, but make sure they aren't the 384 and the 448 core. Again nvidia has chosen stupid names

    -Price

  • haha thanks :)

do you mean the evga 550 ti

  • @2k11fluffy yeah lol

    -Price

  • wow thanks! now all i need is another video card!

  • Fry's where you guys from?

  • @Bloodyfisted cali

    -Price

  • Can I SLI 4 cards ....cause well thats how many i have right about now...and trying to connect all 4 of them together? And I have a Asus Rampage Extreme IV etc etc.... or do those do Crossfire?

  • @ChevySoloX yes that board can do 4 way sli but they all need to be the same card and only 3 cards can do 4 way sli. The GTX 285, GTX 480, and GTX 580. They can be different variants but the need to be the same base card. Also you need to have a big enough psu to power it all

    -Price

  • @Octaragon yes you can, you can leave the cards at different clock speeds or you can overclock to slower one to match the factory overclocked one

    -Price

  • Hey, can a GTX 560 Ti be used with a GT 545?

  • @Densparentsdontluvhm not in sli

    -Price

  • Nice video.

Can i use a gtx 560 ti hawk with a gtx 275 as a physx card?

  • @extremgamer09 yes you can

    -Price

  • Great video. Very helpful!!

  • I've heard that SLI can put a lot of strain on your processor and RAM. This true?

I was thinking about doing an SLI for two gtx460's, and I'm running 4gb of RAM, a i7950 quadcore processor at aout 3.1ghz, and an ASUS x58 sabertooth MOBO on a 32bit system.

So would it work for me?

  • @ThePortableTornado Yes

    -Lavco

  • I'm glad I found a video like this.. I've only used one card for 4 years.. I've only been in the computer building thing for 4 years but meh.. It's so easy to do.. install both cards as normal and plug in your VGA/DVI/HDMI connecter into one card. go into the nvidia control panel enable it there and there you go.. Wow it's so easy lol... I was a bit worried at first but now I got it.

  • @MindSeeR666 Glad u liked it!

    -Lavco

  • @LavcoPriceTech This vid helped me out a lot.. Thank you so much for your time to make this video.

  • @MindSeeR666 you're welcome

    -Price

  • I Installed a 2nd 460 i hooked up bridge and the power fan is spinning and everything. It shows that there's a 2nd card but it wont let me SLI theres no option to do so. Any thoughts?

  • @korgotth and do you have the latest and greatest driver version? Also make sure the bridge is down all the way

    -Price

  • @LavcoPriceTech i have a gigabyte motherboard does that matter or do i need an nvidia board?

  • @korgotth it depends on your chipset.

    -Price

  • @LavcoPriceTech Gigabyte Socket AM3/AMD 890GX/SATA3&USB3.0/A&V&GbE/ATX Motherboard GA-890GPA-UD3H Thats the mobo is use

  • @korgotth sorry but that board only does crossfire

    -Price

  • what is the minimum power supply u would recommend for dual 590s or 6990s?

  • @emerybryant Anything with 4, 8 pins and a single 12v rail

    -Lavco

  • @LavcoPriceTech well thank you for the reply but i mean how many watts would u recommend? like would a 1000 do? or would it be best to go for more or less

  • @emerybryant I would get a 1000 just so you can overclock and still be safe

    -Price

  • @emerybryant One question. Why the fuck would you need 2 590/6990? I mean seriously? thats is FOUR GPUS.

  • @TheHaCkEr1234321 lmao over kill! :P

  • @emerybryant Ahh yes overkill and overspending go together quite nicely

  • @TheHaCkEr1234321 yes they do :D i would like to get the new asus mars 2 which is supposed to be better then the 590/6690 but im kinda broke atm so idk if i can afford the 1500 dollar price tag b4 they run out of them (if they do cuz they are limited production type of deal)

  • did you saw the new enermax cases ? they look prety promising for the price , try to review one :D

  • Could you link me towards some SLI bridges?

Finding it rather difficult to find them without buying a new motherboard.

  • @weareNaation ebay, or evga accessories

    -Price

  • Do you guys think that this is a good pc: Asrock Z68 Extreme 4 Gen 3 Intel i7 2600k Silverstone Raven RV01 Two Gigabyte 560 ti's Gigabyte gt 440 ( for physx ) Cooler Master 850w PSU Corsair H80 Two 750GB hdds Corsair Force Series 3 SSD Corsair Vengance 8GB ram
  • @xKaotiiKx sounds good to me

    -Price

  • That's a nice case.

    Compizzing, fo shizzle!

    That's a nice setup.

    I like the GTX 460.

I also like the GTX 550Ti.

  • do both cards need to be the same kind of video (460gtx,550gtx etc.) or do they just have to be the same chipset

  • @Shockwave1794 Needs to be the same now a days

    -Lavco

  • Do you guys think that 850w will run two 560 ti's and a older gt 440 (for physx) and a i7 with decent overclocking?

  • @xKaotiiKx Yes it will wok

    -Price

  • wooow wooow wooow hahaha i have 9400gt 1gb can sli it ?

  • @Ms3DGAMES No reason, it will be outdated anyway.. Buy a new single graphic card instead.

  • @Ms3DGAMES Nope

    -Lavco

  • Your computer is really loud to be honest. :O

  • @theshiznut not really

    -Price

  • @theshiznut your right, mine has about the same amount of fans and is a lot quieter

  • @hakleach I like it loud =]

    -Lavco

  • @LavcoPriceTech anyone who does gaming anyway usually has a headset, i game but i is well shit

  • @LavcoPriceTech Thanks

  • I wanna run two evga 560 ti s in sli. How much power do I need and is the 460 o.c. equal to the 560 ti? Thanks

  • @xKaotiiKx You are going to need around an 800W so you can get 4 six pins. And NO 460 oc are not equal to 560ti

    -Lavco

  • @LavcoPriceTech thats no true u can use the molex connectors and it only uses 300watts for both cards so about 400watts for the rest of the system so he can ossibly

  • @ThePresD Just because you could do it doesnt mean you should. If your powersupply does not have enough amps then you will melt your 24 pin

    -Lavco

  • @LavcoPriceTech i'm doing it on a 700watt psu no problems yet

  • @ThePresD Its a matter of amps not wattage

    -Lavco

  • @LavcoPriceTech is 850 Watts - Corsair CMPSU-850TXV2 80 Plus Power Supply - Quad SLI Ready good enough good enough for dual gtx 560 ti?

  • @don2xify Oh yes

    -Lavco

  • @don2xify thanks

  • @xKaotiiKx the 560 ti is slightly better than a 470, so no a 460 doesn't equal a 560ti. You would be fine with a 650 watt.

    -Price

  • @xKaotiiKx i just bought evga reference gtx560 ti SLI, i have corsair tx750w and it runs great! 30c idle and 55-65c in load, i recomend! all games max settings, physx games runs greatly , batman arkham asylym 109 average fps max settings! i luv it

  • how much power do SLI need? 550, 659, 800?? thanks

  • @13ilboo Really depends on the cards. Two 460s? like 800 would be good.

    -Lavco

  • @LavcoPriceTech Two 460s would only need 700 max. I use a 600 and have had both cards at 99% no issues. Ive even seen somone pull it off with a 550.

  • I got one gtx 580 and i bought another gtx 580.. the installation process is the same? i have to uninstall the drivers before ? thanks

  • @rufs1 you should just be able to install the card and put the SLI bridge on, then boot into windows and it will do some stuff and you will probably need to restart, once that is done just enable sli in the nvidia control panel and you should be good to go.

    -Price

  • Nimvidia? I'm sorry... Did you just say... Nimvidia? ...Nice.

  • @YxFLETCHxY No

    -Price

  • @YxFLETCHxt i undastood the same nimvidia ;-) nevermind ......hf

  • can you SLI with only one?

  • @YaBoi1433 No, SLI means you have more than one.

    -Price

  • @YaBoi1433 duuuude xD

  • @YaBoi1433 ^^

  • @TheAndroid86 ????

  • @YaBoi1433 ! ! ! !

  • @TheAndroid86 ????

  • why would you go with two diffrent brands if there the same chip set why not just stick with two of the same brands

  • @nanashi1o3 Well I got one for free and the other for cheap. I let my wallet decide.

    -Lavco

  • @LavcoPriceTech lol works for me

  • Great vid man......one query though!

I have 1 gtx 560 ti and was considering buying another identical card and running them in SLI, would i still need to install the driver for the newly installed 560 even though they are the same?

    Cheers

  • @SgtPeppersTube one nvidia driver install is all you need but make sure they are both the "Ti" model because they make a 560ti and a 560

  • what nvidia card would you recommend for around 100quid per card. Obviously i dont mind being slightly over budget or under, just around that price as i want to buy two for sli, that has dx11, is powerful for future use, as i dont intend to upgrade every year, and does not suck up gallons of power. as i only have a 750w psu. thanks

  • @ThePCgamer1989 Well to run 460s in SLI which is what I recommend you are going to need 4 six pins. And I 750watt may not have the connectors.

    -Lavco

  • @LavcoPriceTech Hmm, no my psu has only got 2 PCI-E 6 pins. But ive got a couple of Molex to 6+2 pins in my parts box somewhere. I could run those off another rail, as my psu is 32A per rail. That would give it enough.

But would 750w be enough for a pair of gtx 460's?

and what about the 550Ti's, just as good, worse or better than the gtx 460s?

thanks ever so much for your help

  • @ThePCgamer1989 750 is plenty for two 460s and the 550ti is worse than the 460

    -Price

  • @ThePCgamer1989 550s are slightly worse in somethings. Yeah you could probably run that off that power supply.

    -Lavco
