I can't find a decent sitter to watch over me and I'm completely new to the experience so don't know what to expect. Would it be safe enough for me to smoke a low dose of salvia on my own in a quiet environment? I find several overlapping feelings, sensations and "mindscapes" on good resin-rich weed. So not I would not say completely different, but if you go in with weed as your only refference point to psychedelic experiences, you are in for a world of surprise.

@ComplexToxin No, it is not allowed to be mailed from the company to the state it is illegal in. If you have a friend who lives in one of the legal states you could have them order it and then mail it to you. otherwise you have to travel to the state yourself, find a smoke shop and buy it. BUT some smoke shops wont sell it to you if you have an out of state ID. I went to Erie, PA to get some and got turned away by all of the shops cause I had an Ohio ID. Here in LA its legal so they dont care

They were able to detect it right away when they tested them, but after 90 minutes it was completely undetectable. So if you're worried about testing, just make sure you haven't done any for the two hours preceding the test. But, as I said, I don't think any place actually drug tests for it.
Salvia can be smoked in a joint, it is just weaker. Salvia has a reverse tolerance effect which means the more you smoke it, the less you need, I get very high on a few tokes in a joint, I get the standard giggles and apreciation of music, plus a slight warping of reality. I would actually recommend joints if you dont want to experience the full blown effects of Salvia. The high combustion temperature I think is a myth, works fine for me with a normal lighter, it is more about frame of mind.

Any lighter will work just as fine as a butane / torch lighter... They only recommend using a torch / butane lighter if your smoking the LEAF itself... but if you smoking a concentrated amount, then any lighter will work.

At least PurpleSticky provides their SA concentrations on their website (not that I like them or know that their stuff works, but their advertising is better).

SalviaZone used to provide exact dosages on their packaging and website. I just searched for them and couldn't find them. But I doubt they've changed.
I need to elaborate on PurpleSticky (PS; piss?), because they are terrible: PS sells to headshops via catalogue(s). Headshops who buy receive small packages of PS that come with a piece of paper that only contains PS's AtomiX value. However, this X value contradicts their website's Salvinorin A concentrations.
For example, PS's "80 AtomiX Salvia Extract (20x)" has "80mg" of Salvinorin A. Calculate this based on Siebert's observation of 2.5mg/g average concentration, then it = 32X, not 20X.
salviazone does suck at advertising, but the boxes themselves tell you the mg/g ratio. red is 40mg/g purp 80mg/g blue is 120 mg/g. i think with purple sticky Nx = Nmg/g i never had a problem with purple sticky, but salvizone is a little cheaper with better deals. both work just fine though

just a long ad for salviazone. the "X brands" you say are crap is because the brands are lying. the 10x, 20x, is suppose to describe how much more potent/concentrated the extract is. 10x = 10 times more potent than natural salvia.

Anyone every tried growing?I've used it several times but would like to be more self-sufficient instead of relying on my head shop for it.Besides,I don't know if it will be outlawed here and from the pictures I've seen of the Salvia plant,it doesn't have any obvious characteristics (unlike the Cannabis plant) and looks like it could be mistaken for a number of other plants it's size,making identification alot tougher.

Any lighter will work just as fine as a butane / torch lighter... They only recommend using a torch / butane lighter if your smoking the LEAF itself... but if you smoking a concentrated amount, then any lighter will work.

Of course you can. the only differance between hooka's and water pipes is the amound of water and the typical group useing it.

Salviazone does NOT provide accurate dosages for their products. How does a color provide consumers with an accurate concentration of salvinorin A in their product?
At least PurpleSticky provides their SA concentrations on their website (not that I like them or know that their stuff works, but their advertising is better).
But, I agree with you - X brands are useless. So are colors. Stick with the real numbers!
Before saying what research proves what, provide a link.

I need to elaborate on PurpleSticky (PS; piss?), because they are terrible: PS sells to headshops via catalogue(s). Headshops who buy receive small packages of PS that come with a piece of paper that only contains PS's AtomiX value. However, this X value contradicts their website's Salvinorin A concentrations.
For example, PS's "80 AtomiX Salvia Extract (20x)" has "80mg" of Salvinorin A. Calculate this based on Siebert's observation of 2.5mg/g average concentration, then it = 32X, not 20X.

salviazone does suck at advertising, but the boxes themselves tell you the mg/g ratio. red is 40mg/g purp 80mg/g blue is 120 mg/g. i think with purple sticky Nx = Nmg/g i never had a problem with purple sticky, but salvizone is a little cheaper with better deals. both work just fine though
