  • hey there, did you build this or buy it? and if you built it, what are the dimensions?

  • Is the current coming from the car battery (12v) and you pulling 28 amp...then your draining 336watts from the engine...assuming the cell is 100% efficient then your only adding 336 watts of power back to the engine....i tried all this...it didnt work....good fun playing around though.

  • @andgate2000 You did something wrong. It works. Thousands of people are doing it and getting worthwhile results.

  • Using stainless steel electrodes produces very toxic chromium by products.

Do you dispose the electrolite as toxic waste?

  • It'd be awesome if you sent me full instructions on this build. please :)

  • What's coming out must be an equivalent mixture of oxygen and hydrogen ready for combustion. Must be excellent for welding torch too.

  • can you provide us the plan? everything so we can make our own?thanks a lot..

  • Hi, You mentioned sodium hydroxide as the electrolyte. This will create deposites of sodium at the cell right? How do you clean a closed cell as this will eventually clog up.

    Thanks.

  • @FreePizza007 ....nope, the sodium hydroxide does not build up. it runs very clean. you just have to be careful the way you handle it and anti-dote if you spill some on your skin is to use/rinse with distilled white vinigar. 3 tea-spoonfulls of sodium hydroxide with 1.3 liters of distilled water makes an electrolyte that relates to about 21(pwm) to 28(direct current) amps on my cell. cheers, vs.

  • @variablestatus Thanks for reply, It has been many years since I have done chemistry so I will give a breif explanation of my theory. Maybe someone can correct me if I am wrong, here it goes;

Sodium Hydroxide is NaOH, Water H20 so the Chemical balanced equation is:

    NaOH + H2O -> 3O + 2H + Na

Meaning that the Oxygen and Hydrogen gas dissapear in the Electrolysis process. Well Na is left. That is Sodium. Sodium deposits are left in the closed Cell- Long term and after a while it'l fill up.

  • @FreePizza007 ..great scientific anylsis and good for all reading. yes you're right Na will be left. so simply speaking all you have to do is replenish the electrolyte with distilled water. sodium hydroxide/Na lye, what makes soap soapy, disolves into water continuiusly. the amperage will increase as the h and o are realeased making the electrolyte stronger as it's level depleates in the bubbler. simply adding distilled water will allow you to have plenty of use with your Na electrolyte. vs

  • @Mrinfoone and pcbpavioc..the size of the plates is 5"X7" & the thickness of the plates is the same as the thickness of the gaskets when they are compressed @ 1/16 inch.i will send both of you a complete set of plans.i have sold to many in the past because so many offered to buy it but now i give the plans away to all my fellow scientist out there for the asking.between my plans, the three video's &the blogs here, you will just about have all the info you need for a great start.cheers,vs.

  • Hi. congratulation for you work, pelase sendme info for contrucction dry cell is wonderfulll.,,,, thx,,

  • what is the size off the plates and thickness?

  • @variablestatus, Thank you so much for your reply, Excellent cell you have made, I thank you so much for giving away your design and info for everyone to experiment with. Its a great cell design and hope to see more from you in the future.

  • some steam is meant to be good to lower combustion temp to reduce NOX cant remember for sure were i came across this info. this info should be doubled checked ...

  • I think its cool. Ya its not perfect but this is how people experiment. I figure folks are jealous. If they know so much they would shutup and work on stuff using it as knowledge in their own studies.

  • did you use kick plates like you find on school doors, they are about that size and have all of those bolt holes.

  • Looks dangerous.

  • is your flowmeter an oxygen flowmeter?, if it is your measure is wrong. I read 2.5LPM with 4 oxygen flowmeter, and when I use the fill bottle metod I read 1LPM, by the way thanks for to share.

  • Now that's how to do it! Now, try putting a radiator inline. That should lower temperatures a bit, improving conductivity and, in turn, efficiency.

  • Hey V-Status. Your the freakin' MAN.

  • that may be some steam at that temperature

  • Comment removed

  • are you sure it isn't partly steam that you are producing?

  • So basically your H generator is an attempt at converting a car to run off the H? Does anybody know if its true that there are systems or systems that can be built that once the H is combusted, the resulting water vapor can be recycled back into the system so that the need to replenish water is minimal?

  • Can it work with salt water though. That will solve our problem and can it be renewing?

  • correction on typo below, temperature is maintained at 140-142 degrees F on this cell which is really good at the amperage used. this was the temp after a 2 hours continuious run test.

  • @variablestatus Hello, I sent you a private message, please check out and answer. Thanks

  • continued, since you go from a 40% burn ration to a 95% burn ration you can subtract on the added benifit of hho which is 55% gain minus 10% for alternator amperage used, equals 45% fuel usage gain with hho. this formula is the ustimate answer for all hho users, activists and scientists investigating this subject matter. I'm only appologize for not getting this info to all of you on youtube sooner for you to have this ultimate information and complete info on this subject matter. cheers!

  • also to all and especially xsports49 and nettickturbo and others with similar question. fact, your car only burns about 40% of the gas entered into the engine. 60% is burned by the catalytic converter. with hho you can get with the addition of pwm and o2 sensor and mass air flow sensors overides you can get up to 90 to 95% burning of the fuel entered into the engine. with the added hp used for the amps used only about 5-10% at most of the fuel used is needed for this.

  • to xsports49, since your educated let me upgrade your education. in my other video's you see my pulse width modulation PWM unit in relation to your collapsing field question. this video is in relation to an ultimate sealed cell of which it is. it has all the dynamics you could want in a cell. self circulation which keeps temperature equalized at 148 degrees, if you read my other comments below you'll be educated on other details which are ultimate in this subject.

  • good work so far.

but i'm sorry to say you really havent done anthing special.

your just using amps to split water. not cost effective!

you need to look into colapsing voltage fiels and harmonics

  • Why are people still using high amps and electrolyte to produce HHO? Don't the electrodes deteriorate rather quickly using this method? The only reason I see for the use of an electrolyte would be for sub zero temperatures in preventing the formation of ice. Better make those stainless pipes/plates easily accessible and changeable. ;)

  • Variablestatus. Great Cell. I have been running a 13plate +-+-+ with 2 neutrals per for about three months and my results are almost as good as yours. So don't let the doubters distract you. you are on the right track. A great video as well. Hope to see another video of yours.

  • more cells

  • Hrm so the 27 ams at like 13-14 volt from your chargings sytem is about .5 HP

Now this may seem odd but you should dyno the difference to see if there is any net power gain. I know this isn't for power but fuel economy, but it will show you a net result.

  • (1.25 + 1.40)/2 = 1.325V per cell

    1.325 X 10 = 13.25V

    13.25 X 27 = 357.75 Watts

    3000ml per min

    3000/357.75 = 8.39 MMW

  • that makes 8.39 MMW. That can't be right, can it??

  • this is truly an awesome output. ive seen cells for sale that were not bad cells put out under a liter at the current you are drawing!! so well done on this!! and running right at minimum required voltage was VERY smart! could you tell me what your water temp at the tank was? im looking for good pattern for power/neutral for 13.8 V would you share that or are you keeping it close to the vest? if so i understand. nonetheless good job, you may well have the best efficiency ive seen yet.,very nice

  • so what are you doing to do with this bubbler?

  • for anyone who wants and needs to know the temperature on my temp/laser gun is 145 degrees ferinheight, not celcius. american temperature reading, not european. the amount of output is in liters as everyone uses liters to measure hho production by so i did the same. it is a good.common reference that we all can relate to. i don't beleive there is much steam or water vapor because with the amount of output you can barely see any of the white gas/steam come out of the outlet. 98%hho i would say.

  • the pesamists need to stay off this. this is awsome if hes really emitting more energey then hes takeing in then he just broke the 2nd law of thermodynamics. if you managed to do that dood your almost genius.

  • I think you are mosty making steam and not HHO

  • why dont you show how your cell was constructed internally?

  • very nice

  • nice...now make 1 which runs on pure distilled water with no electrolyte and runs with low amps

  • i agree amps is not the answer. low amps is what u want

  • the problem is you are not only making hydroxy, you are making a lot steam am affraid

  • You don't make steam unless you are boiling water

  • FYI water boils at 212 degrees

    F.......no steam here.

  • Si units fool.

he wouldn't say 3 litres and not use C.

  • Pause @ 209, you can see the F

140C is 284F, that would melt the plastic bottle.

  • Water also turns to steam when under vacuum-

I assume it was under vacuum because this test was done with the engine running. It is also extremely likely that his production would drop in half if the engine was not running.

  • Comment removed

  • ???

  • Engines generate more vacuum in the manifold when the throttle is closed. the vacuum in the pipe from the airbox to the throttle body is under more vacuum when the throttle is opened. you do not need all that production when your idling(throttle closed). Why does the production when the engine isn't running even matter....

  • Just thought of another one!

How long did that bottle of water last? Wat that an 8 or 12 ox bottle?

You say it had been running an hour early in the video, and it looked like it had only used 1/4 to 1/2.

  • Finally; the last question.... for now ;)

I assume you have additional holes in the plates to allow free water flow between the neg plates. Disregarding the loss of surface area, does it matter if there is 1 or 10 holes?

Sorry for so many questions. What can I say? I recently found data about these, and I find the whole process fascinating!

Thanks again for the great video

  • Continued!!!

    3) What on earth did you use for a fitting for the in and out hoses that has a head that fits inside that narrow area?

    4) You have the bubbler hanging at approximately hood height and the cell assy on the ground. Meaning, if the cell was clocer to the water reserviour, would you still get that kind of H production?

    Yet one more to follow

  • This is the cleanest design of all those I've seen so far. I have a couple of questions;;

    1) Where did you get the plates, and what were the dimensions (video of construction anywhere)?

    2) What spacing and spacers did you use? Your 11 plate system only looks to be about 1/2 inch front to back, all the other assys I've seen (granted, for bottle assy not sealed) have been 2 or 3 inches.

    More to follow.

    Thanks for the video!

  • How fast are you heating the water? Did you record any temps?

  • Hello ppl.

One question I have with all these you are making is how do you actually USE the Hydrogen?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but due to my not good english I cannot find anything relevant.

If someone could point me out where to get information on using the hydrogen in REAL LIFE it would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!

  • most peoples ultimate goal is to supplement there cars petrol with hydrogen, others try to run generators, or heat there house, or shooting pop bottles with hydrogen in them for fun.

  • Hydrogen is a clean burning, explosively fast igniting gas which only leaves behind water vapor byproduct.

  • With 4 neutrals on each side of your positive, and 13.8 volts (from the charging system of the vehicle), you are actually getting 2.76 volts per cell not 1.25-1.4 volts. You will only get that target voltage per cell with 6 neutral plates on each side of your positive. Nice cell. Great job. I'm gonna build one myself.

  • Hi Variablestatus,

Yes, we need to know the VOLTAGE as well as the Amps and Displacement volume in order to quantify your results and calculate it's actual true empirical efficiency.

    1. mL/Min (or how long to fill .5L or 1L container)

    2. Volts

    3. Amps

The result is your MMW or mL per Minute per Watt!

I've started calculating an additional measurement as well:

MMW per Square Inch just to get an efficiency # per sq inch! What do you think?

    TTYL,

    Superbee1970

  • Sounds like the engine is running, so you can guess it is probably 14V into the cell at 27A .

  • oldbeaver581, try putting a larger inner diameter hose on the hho output side than on the electrolyte intake side to correct your problem. just a very slight increase so as to maintain electrolyte flow back into the bubbler for cooling. way cool you built your own sealed cell.

  • Hello, I replicated (more or less) your HHO sealed cell: One central +, 4 neutral to each side, and two negatives out to both sides.

As gasket I used car engine gasket, but it is starting to humidify. Not leak yet.

With 12 V and two teaspoons full of NaOH, production is impressive, a flow of HHO, no heat, 15 A of current.

One problem arises: the cell begins to empty as the gas produced is so much, the return cannot cope to refill the cell.

I installed an electric pump, but no point.

  • i just think what will happen if u use a aluminum as a neutral plates.

  • aluminium oxide contamination. no good at all

  • Can you read voltage drop of the cell by putting the DMM leads on the cell terminals. If I did it right my cell is using only 1.38 volts at 11 amps, production is not that high but my ATX power supply is very small.

  • How much gas does it produce with cold water? And how much more MPG do you get with your hho generator on, what is your normal MPG?

  • Hi,

Nice production, you should be VERY proud! Are you selling plans, secrets, or the actual cell itself.

From the video, I am unable to tell exactly how this cell is made. These can't be all flat plates, then the HHO couldn't get out. So, do these plates have holes in the center so the water can flow in and convert to HHO then exit the other side?

I wasn't sure if you were going to show us how to make one, or if we could buy one already made?

    Thanks in advance,

    Ken

  • waleedmech, EMPIRE0FLIES, here are a few more details, the plates are scratched with diamond sandpaper(easiest way to scratch s.steel 316L for more surface area) and also 1. wash/bath plates with distilled water 2. wash/bath plates with distilled white vinigar 3. rinse with distilled water. plates are also about 1/16 spacing..1/32 gasket w/silicon applied on both sides =1/16.. although cell is definitely a great worker,i will be adding more nuetral plates for experimenting for top efficiency.

  • more nuetral plates will bring amps down that is a must for the altanator to last without beefing it up !! the alt cannot work at 80% or above long befor inturnal parts start to fail i have 4 nuetral plates it droped amps to 13 amps and works ok but does not produce as much as yours ; I have baking soda & distiled water tried the viniger didn"t help !! keeep up the work !!

  • Hi nbmr, I use Sodium Hydroxide {caustic soda}

drain cleaner, it produces no frothing, if you take a look at my video slide show, type in {HHO NO-MORE BROWN SLUDGE} you will see how to keep the water crystal clear as well. cheers for now.

  • I'm just curious..for those of us still on the learning end of things about this hydrogen production...wouldn't using a PWM do the same thing as adding nuetral plates? The objective is to keep the amps low. Just wondering.

  • That 1/16th inch spacing is probably a key factor in your production rate.

  • I can usually tell by the bubbles and yes you are getting over 2 lpm. Outstanding!!!

  • great work, thank you man

What is the new thing special to this cell that makes it more efficient?

Keep the good work and thank you for sharing information.

  • As others said, your getting false readings w/ the airflow gauge. The only trust worthy way to measure the output is a displacement test (lpm) & mmw #s.

Another guy said he was getting 2-2.5 lpm (he used an airflow gauge too) but when he did the displacement test, it was barely over 1 lpm. Just something to consider.

I'm looking forward to seeing more vids and more tests. Keep up the good work.

    :D

    AH

  • Although I am happy with my set up,I am impressed by yours,so I am going to give it a try,PWM WILL definately improve your control.Terry

  • higherpoweredh2o will do displacement test with 1 liter bottle. i'm actually looking forward to it. in taiwan, 1:00 our time est, the video was #56 most viewed for science and technology, then later in the day it was #40, most viewed in taiwan and now 6 hours later it is #49 most viewed in taiwan. that's cool! i'm glad High-Tech is looking at least. feels like i'm possibly doing something really right or in the right direction at least. i know there is something special about this cell.

  • keep on keeping on. There is something special about hho period. good job

  • higherpoweredh2o growe35 thanks for the words of wisdom, #'s and suggestions. we'll do further experiments with added nuetrals. i know that i have a good grasp on the subject now and with every youtube'r dialing in each other, we'll reach our goal. will continue to experiment before installation on vehicle even though it is a great worker already, i think i can even do better with this design, at less amperage. now is the time for super fine tuning. taiwan seems really interested btw...

  • so hopefully we get a displacement test. Nothing is meant to belittle just constructive criticism. You have great ideas and everyone helps further them. In what other field does this happen? none. thats what makes the hho community special. good luck..

btw you cant just leave us hangin with the Taiwan comment. Details man. good job bro

  • If you are running at 12vdc 27 amps = 324 watts & 2.4vdc per cell

@ 3L per min your eff is 9.25ml per watt minute.

If you are running from jumpers on the car and runing 13vdc 27 amps

(Most cars produce between 13 - 13.3) then you are at 361 watts

@ 3L per min your eff. is 8.31ml per watt minute.

I'm not trying to discourage you from experimenting just stating facts...the more accurate our finding, either good or bad the sooner we can reduce our gas consumption.

  • First of all Great job. Looks like a quality cell with good production. Only thing is you math is off. You have an 11 plate cell set up as (- N N N N + N N N N -) this means at 12v you would be running 2.4 volts per cell because you split the cells in half by placing positive in the middle and two negatives on the end.

Good production but not very efficient. 1.9 - 2.0V per cell is as about as efficient as you can get with Sodium Hydroxide or KOH as an electrolyte.

  • Also, I believe that your volts per cell are off. If you have positive in the middle and negatives on the outside, and you are on 12 volt battery, your range per cell is 2.4 - 2.8 volts. The only way to get the 1.2 volts across the cells as you mention is to be running a 6 volt battery. Is this what you're doing?

  • Ok, cool looking cell. My only thing is flow meters are not calibrated for humidified hydrogen. Numbers are quite possibly very high. humidified air from cell will lift ball more than dry air which they are designed. Also i have yet to find a mechanical meter calibrated for hydrogen. Even though it is not the most accurate, do a water displacement test. its kind of the standard for testing and comparison. hopefully you pump out 2 lmp in a displacement test. looking forward to new vids.

  • WOW . fantastic, why dont you share, your configuration details with us please ..how do I see the " Most important details" you would be happy to give us ..

    great work!

  • Good Job! I'm wondering how large your plates are, and what is the water temp and amp draw at startup and after running 30 min or so?

Measuring the outside shell will get you a close approximation, but the water is what you should measure since it's what helps determines amp draw.
