I recall watching Al Jazeera and instead of just giving the news, the anchor pointed out that the American soldier was too occupied dusting himself off to hear the poor woman talking to him. Problem with information is it's not old enough, regardless of the source. We just don't have the data to make accurate predictions about climate change. What we do know shows that the earth changes a lot and often quite dramatically, while humans were not on the earth. The burden of proof lies in those who think global warming is caused by us, and quite frankly the evidence isn't substantial.

The great thing about facts is they need not support anything as a conclusion is drawn and tested after the facts are found. This is how the scientific method works and is the first tool in avoiding bias. As far as data there is tons of it in the trees and rocks, unless you believe the earth is 6000 years old and a magic sky daddy is coming to rapture us away.

Tell that to all the people who don't live in temperate climates. In winter here there is less sun so the C02 has little effect. At the equator the process is amplified. Lowest in recent history? Ya in the last 3 years and in winter. Quote mining is dishonest.

sure it is only recently that temperatures have dropped down, but also only recently did the sun's rays get less intense.. the scientists are thinking that it was emitting more rays than usual in the last decade or so which had contributed to the global warming phenomena.. and apparently the sun started to emit less in the last few years.. again we should do something about cutting down on the CO2 emissions but we should not tax our industries which will bankrupt the nation

Ya you are definitely right about the taxes they are bs. Harsher penalties need to be given to companies responsible for more than their reasonable share though. This will get passed down to the consumer but as money is the only thing these people care about you gotta hit em where they hurt. I would think that if the rays are less intense it also may be a pollution thing. Smog etc.

well about the intensity of the rays, they were measuring it not only in our planet but also in the international space station. as for big companies understanding only the language of money, ya that is true, but i still believe that we can take the Ron Paul approach on this, where cities and citizens can sue big corporations for polluting their air .
