How do you know it's aspen? Pine and cedar is extremley bad for them, aspen is thought to be ok, but i wouldn't want to risk it. Carefresh is the best, but if you bother to litter train them, you only need litter in there litter box.

Carefresh is not always the best option. It claims to be dust free but it's actualy not. 2 of my rats have Myco and can not use Carefresh as it agitates their condition and can spur as flare up

Actually you are right. The best thing is breeders choice cat litter, although its aonly available in australia. Carefresh is great if its just in there litter box. But still, its better than wood shavings..O.o

You may want to take those 2 cuties off the sawdust! It's very=, very bad for their little respiritory systems!
