One thing I never got is that Starmie is both a Water and Psychic Type Pokemon, so how come Misty's Starmie ever learned or had any Psychic Type Attacks, not that I'm criticizing or anything? I'm just asking because that always made me curious.

@MisteryMitchG Well if you go by the moves it can learn in the game, once you evolve a Staryu to Starmie it doesn't naturally learn any psychic moves for some reason. In fact a lot of pokemon that you evolve with an evolutionary stone (like Starmie) do not learn anymore moves. So maybe Misty was to poor to buy TMs for psychic moves, or she was lazy or something lol who knows.

@SlappaDeBassMon lol Maybe, but in the show, the trainers teach them some of their moves somehow. Ash taught his Treecko Bullet Seed by spitting watermelon seeds and Pikachu Iron Tail after another trainer showed his Sentret used and master it.
