  • Makes me proud to b a texan!!

  • I saw them almost every day when I was growing up in Dimmitt. They always talk like that. Wish sam JR. knew how to shower.

  • @Scatch73 I grew up here too and the first thing I thought was I feel sorry for the camera man that had to ride in the car,

  • awesome.... but honest to who I could not understand a word they said. lol hahahahahahaha

  • Another great TCR story! I loved how the guy here talked like Boomhauer on KING OF THE HILL

  • LOL Thutssum real ac-shent :D

  • i like the way they talk.

  • it has me thinking...if he had saved a few old caps, they wouldnt be poor folk anymore...ironic no?

collectors pay alot of money when they have a passion for something

  • This is the kindest, most generous family I have ever seen. To make toys out of bottle caps for kids that didn't get anything for Christmas- ring the doors and run away- it made me so happy to hear this story, I cried and I still have tears in my eyes. What precious people in this world that they are

  • a "fidgiter" if thats what ya call it..Now thats recyclin! <-think I should have been born a texan!

  • raper!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahahahaha

  • Beautiful story. How could I send you some bottle caps?

  • I wonder if they've ever displayed at the Texas Country Reoprter fair in Waxahachie? I've gone to most of them in the last 10 years, but don't recall seeing them there. Oh, darn, I just looked them up and they're 6 hours northwest of me and I'm an hour northeast of Waxahachie, so I bet they never have displayed their wares..too bad. I'd love to have that train. I have a cowboy made from a Coors can that has bottlecap arms.

  • Probably can't afford the gas!

  • My hometown.

  • i have a feeling i will be making art out of junk on day.

  • I wonder if I could get this gentle man to make something for me out of the "coke" lids.

  • Everytime I see a new video I warm further to the American people. I love small town America. The people there are so friendly and different and taking life at the proper pace.

    Great video!

  • Stanno34, I have lived in Texas all my life, besides the occasional move to some other suburb of Texas, like Louisiana, Nevada and California. I love Texas dearly.

The people of "small town America" are the majority. Good humble and quiet. It's the big city, loud-mouthed ones that make the news and cause Americans to look brash and uncouth.

If more people of the world would see the videos of "Texas Country Reporter" they would realize, We are just simple, loving, caring people.

    Keep Watching

  • She's right... here in the Texas Panhandle, the word "Coke" covers a multitude of beverages. There is no such thing as "pop" or "soda" by the way.

  • Hehe my friend in the Air Force is from Texas, I love going places with her. "Hi, I'll have a coke, a sprite please?"

  • LOL. That's awesome.

  • One persons junk, another persons treasure.

    Thanks Again T.C.R.,

    John

  • How nice of them :-)

  • simple is best, so are it's people..thanks again T.C.R.
