I don't think they're "acting" like anything. They are living their lives and part of that entails being mothers. Whatever they did in the past should remain there. I'm sure there are plenty of women who've done crazy things in their youth, but grow to become responsible adults and very good mothers. To refer to them using the word you chose to use (which I will not repeat) is unnecessary and in very poor taste.

Unfortunately, my mother passed away when I was 11 yrs old. I would give anything to have her back no matter what her past was. We should strive to be less judgemental lest we be judged for every mistake we make. I see nothing in their attire which would make me ashamed to have any of them as a mother. I would be more humiliated if I chose to address others in life using such derogatory and demeaning words. It shows very little class and education - two qualities I learned from MY MOTHER.
