Has anyone noticed how Cn might slowly be getting the message. Live action shows are starting to show up less frequently or just straight up dying out. Tower prep, Destroy Build Destroy and DWWH. And less are starting to pop up. Except that gayass hole in the wall show. Plus their airing less off TDI 16 and Stoked is pretty much dead...thank God. Now we just gotta get toonami back whitch i heard is comin back in like 2 years.

While it is true that Cartoon Network showing live-action shows is againtst the network's name, I still agree that CN is still a great network for kids. Hell, a couple of my cousins who are 4 and 7 still enjoys what they have on the network, and that's all that matters to me.
Speaking of logos, people are now complaining about Nickelodeon's new font. Funny thing is, this logo is reminiscent of the Pinball logo. You know, the one that came before the orange Splat that most people are familiar with? Perfect example of nostalgic nutcases who don't know their history.

One thing that's really irritating me is nostalgia fanboys bitching about Hanna-Barbera cartoons being turned into movies. This has been done with both the Yogi Bear movie AND the Smurfs movie. Dude, I'm surprised you didn't mention Toonami in this video. Toonami getting cancelled is like one of the main reasons why people complain about CN. But to be honest, Toonami wasn't that great anyway yet all the anime fanboys think Toonami was the best thing ever and are trying to bring back Toonami.

Back when it was still on the air, people were still whining about *that* and they wanted it canceled. Now that it did get canceled, people now want it back. I personally don't care about the fact that Toonami got canceled anyway because I stopped watching it along time ago.
@LJK193 As much as I miss Toonami...It just sucks that all they show were just action anime that runs over 200 episodes and sometimes are ongoing, and a majority of it is filler...Which just...Sucks! I mean One Piece did it right because it was more or less episodic, but there are other genre's that could get some attention.
There HAS been some people complaining about Adult Swim nowadays. If you look at the comments on videos with old Adult Swim bumpers from the "senior citizens" era (2001-2003), you'll see lots of comments saying that Adult Swim is awful now, and that it was awesome back in the early years.

YES, TV is dying man, well at least in the cartoon/anime fraction. The logo has nothing to do with the channel being bad, it's the fact that they got rid of the old good legendary cartoons like Ed Edd and Eddy and replaced it with real life stuff that's not even suppose to be on the darn channel!.
One more thing, I never got the appeal of Scooby-Doo. Cartoon Network played it to death in the late 1990s/early 2000s and I got bored with it so fast. Every episode is exactly the same: the gang solve a "mystery", unmask a monster, explained what really happened...yawn.

All I have to say is, stop complaining about the network already. No matter how much you whine and complain they aren't going back to the way they were in the past. If the network aired nothing but the same old shows forever, you would likely get bored with it fast. Yes, the shows on Cartoon Network don't appeal to me, but I am not sitting on my computer all day whining about it. Just don't watch the network if you hate it so much.
I mainly watched Cartoon Network for the theatrical cartoons like Looney Tunes, Popeye and Tom and Jerry. I got so bored with most of the Hanna Barbera shows quickly and I liked the Cartoon Cartoons at one point but then I just got bored with them. Then again, I am not really into 90 percent of television animation as a whole since it's inferior to the theatrical toons and much of TV animation is made to sell products (toys, video games etc).
People fail to realize that Cartoon Network aired crap back in the day as well. It's just that you don't remember the really awful shows. Remember shows like Hair Bear Bunch? Snorks? Super Globetrotters? The Gary Coleman Show? Most likely no. I remember watching those shows with my dad as a kid and were those shows bland and boring. The network wasn't completely flawless, yes they aired nothing but cartoons but that doesn't mean that everything that aired between 1992-2004-ish was good.
While it's dumb for them to be airing reality shows, let me say this. If you love the old shows so much, why don't you guys get Boomerang? They still air much of the old CN output. I personally don't watch it since they don't air a lot that I like save for the MGM cartoons, Pink Panther, Popeye and Tom and Jerry and I have many of the Popeye, Pink Panther and Tom and Jerry cartoons on DVD.
heres the thing, kids grow up with stuff they like, and then as they grow up, new things come out and they hate it, but the people who are young during that time like the current shows, don't like the old shows that the past people liked, and will hate shows of the future. people like shows they grew up with. it's a nostalgia factor. personally for me cartoon network was best during summer of 2005
Cartoon networks wasn't crappy completly til 207 and it is improving now because it's starting to bring back classics like Courage, Ed Edd n' Eddy, and less live action but it should really bring back more like Dexter, Powerpuff, and all the rest. 98- 05 were the golden years for cartoon network.

The CN Real block is currently inactive and they plan to air a new show called "Adventure Time", which looks like the best Cartoon Network production to ever exist, in April. Cartoon Network has been going downhill for a while.
1) It was originally meant to show classic cartoons. (think of Boomerang)
2) they put their own new shows alongside. (I still like them, it's just they defied the original purpose)
3) more new cartoons that aren't as good and pushing the classics onto Boomerang
4) non-cartoon shows being added and changing to CN and few new cartoons

YES, TV is dying man, well at least in the cartoon/anime fraction. The logo has nothing to do with the channel being bad, it's the fact that they got rid of the old good legendary cartoons like Ed Edd and Eddy and replaced it with real life stuff that's not even suppose to be on the darn channel!.

One more thing, I never got the appeal of Scooby-Doo. Cartoon Network played it to death in the late 1990s/early 2000s and I got bored with it so fast. Every episode is exactly the same: the gang solve a "mystery", unmask a monster, explained what really happened...yawn.
Youtube should seriously get rid of this 500 character limit crap.

All I have to say is, stop complaining about the network already. No matter how much you whine and complain they aren't going back to the way they were in the past. If the network aired nothing but the same old shows forever, you would likely get bored with it fast. Yes, the shows on Cartoon Network don't appeal to me, but I am not sitting on my computer all day whining about it. Just don't watch the network if you hate it so much.

I mainly watched Cartoon Network for the theatrical cartoons like Looney Tunes, Popeye and Tom and Jerry. I got so bored with most of the Hanna Barbera shows quickly and I liked the Cartoon Cartoons at one point but then I just got bored with them. Then again, I am not really into 90 percent of television animation as a whole since it's inferior to the theatrical toons and much of TV animation is made to sell products (toys, video games etc).

People fail to realize that Cartoon Network aired crap back in the day as well. It's just that you don't remember the really awful shows. Remember shows like Hair Bear Bunch? Snorks? Super Globetrotters? The Gary Coleman Show? Most likely no. I remember watching those shows with my dad as a kid and were those shows bland and boring. The network wasn't completely flawless, yes they aired nothing but cartoons but that doesn't mean that everything that aired between 1992-2004-ish was good.

While it's dumb for them to be airing reality shows, let me say this. If you love the old shows so much, why don't you guys get Boomerang? They still air much of the old CN output. I personally don't watch it since they don't air a lot that I like save for the MGM cartoons, Pink Panther, Popeye and Tom and Jerry and I have many of the Popeye, Pink Panther and Tom and Jerry cartoons on DVD.

heres the thing, kids grow up with stuff they like, and then as they grow up, new things come out and they hate it, but the people who are young during that time like the current shows, don't like the old shows that the past people liked, and will hate shows of the future. people like shows they grew up with. it's a nostalgia factor. personally for me cartoon network was best during summer of 2005

Cartoon networks wasn't crappy completly til 207 and it is improving now because it's starting to bring back classics like Courage, Ed Edd n' Eddy, and less live action but it should really bring back more like Dexter, Powerpuff, and all the rest. 98- 05 were the golden years for cartoon network.

What people don't realize is that Cartoon Network is starting to improve. The CN Real block is currently inactive and they plan to air a new show called "Adventure Time", which looks like the best Cartoon Network production to ever exist, in April. However, I personally think that CN needs to get rid of the "Total Drama" series and anything else that Teletoon has produced.

Cartooon Network has takin a bit of a dive, especially with the live action programs, ( which seriously has to go) but that doesn't mean I hate Cartoon Network with a firey passion like most nostalgia buffs. I still believe the network will improve more in the future. It will just take some time.

@Varkoose Yo,I would love to know what drugs your on man seriously..The reason CN Real isnt airing is because people watch the station for CARTOONS,not fucking watered down versions of Fox Reality TV ideas.What they need to do is rebuild Toonami and put newer animes and such back on there.Then and only then is when people will start to tune in once again.CN isnt Nick or Disney and will never will be, hey need to stay with that 24 hour cartoons statement and fast..

You didn't seen say one word for Toonami. what the fuck? Another thing: Cartoon Network sucks for alot of things now. They start to air non cartoons, logo changed, changed main day from Fridays to Thursdays. Adult Swim separated into its own network in 2008 sometime. Another reason, don't call them, because I called them. it didn't work. Its a record dial. They never pick up. Last but not least: Captain Planet is a pretty good show. Why criticize shows that people enjoy? I hate that ugh!

And Scooby doo was a classic. Most of the shows back then were classics. It's 10 times better than what it is now. Courage the cowardly dog, KND, Ed EddN'Eddy, Space ghost, Cow and Chicken,PPG,I am weasel, Johnny bravo,Cartoon Fridays and more. They all served as much better entertainment as well as entertainment with more variety of shows. You notice they don't have as much variety of shows as they did back then. I'm sorry, I can't completely agree with this video.

Out of Jimmey's head sucks. Whether it's animated or not. Fried Dynamite sucks too. I miss cartoon fridays. And The only good show I agreed with you on was Fosters home. Everything else is not so great. Th bottom line is, most of the shows on cartoon network now suck and they overplay the same stuff over and over. Like every time I look on the guide it's like "Johnny test" 3 times in a row. They got rid of so many good shows that they have to play the crappy ones over and over.

I still watch this, but mainly for TDA. The other shows are ok (not Flapjack, ugh) and the reality shows they threw in really don't improve it at all, but... I still watch it. I still wish they'd bring older shows back, though.
