@nameslynn I hear this type of comment so often on youtube. I totally have to agree. I haven't bothered to listen to the radio for probably fifteen years or so. Every song I love and think is genius and has the power to really move me was written for the most part in the 80's or prior. I think the stars today can't hold a candle to the stars of the 70's.

But if being able to appreciate good music, makes me "old school", then yes, I choose to be "old school."

Jmaes Ingram is my favorite male voclaist of all time. He can scat with the best of them but when he sings, well the emotion just blasts through. I've got all his albums, I only wish he would travel so I could seee him live. Special mention must also be made of the great man, Quincy Jones, who always manages to bring out the best in James.

Jmaes Ingram is my favorite male voclaist of all time. He can scat with the best of them but when he sings, well the emotion just blasts through. I've got all his albums, I only wish he would travel so I could seee him live. Special mention must also be made of the great man, Quincy Jones, who always manages to bring out the best in James.

I missed this clip, the last time I saw this was almost 20years ago. One of the classic pop tunes of all time. You can see here just how versatile is the great Quincy Jones is. He wears many kinds of hat in the music industry for the last 6 decades. Thanks n keep posting.
