In the epilogue, you don't know if you play as Soap or not. And I never said Soap dies, I said he might or might not. Gaz and Captain Price are dead dude. Gaz got shot in the face by a Desert Eagle point blank, and Captain Price died because you can see the Russian soldier trying to perform CPR but fails. You don't know who is in the epilogue mission because there are no name tags. Therefore: Gaz and Price are dead. Jackson ( The Marine ) is dead, and Soap might or might not be dead.

The Royal Marines and the U.S Marines are entirely different. The Royal Marines function as a kind of Special Operations force, while the U.S Marines are more of a traditional army-type force. It's like comparing a Sailboat and a Helicopter.

That's not a fair comparison at all. The USMC are an infantry force, while the SAS are a SpecOps unit. It's like comparing Navy SEALS to Army grunts.
