In my dorm at college there's radios in the bathrooms and they're always playing country music, never anything else, even at 2 in the morning. I grew up listening to these songs and I love them so much. Yes, I do like other types of music, but they never make me feel as nostalgic or happy as these ones do. Even the newer country isn't quite as good as this stuff is.

@TheJellyfish4 I had one grandfather I knew who I had no doubt that he loved me & my younger brother even tho he hated our father as much (may-b as much) as we did & do. He was an abusive alcoholic & its why we allow our youngest to believe my father to be dead. I made a promise to my grandpa that my MIL kept for me. He didn't want to die alone & since I wasn't able to get to him b4 he passed, my MIL (ret LPN) & 3 nurse friends sat, talked, & even prayed w/him as he passed. My MIL is the best.

@TheJellyfish4 She knew of the promise & helped me keep it. I know lots of people don't care for their MILs but I got lucky. Sure, we don't always agree on things but we respect each other & our differences. Not many have such a luxury. I'm glad I do. She's been like a mom to me since my surrogate mom passed away 7yrs ago this past March. I miss her so much it hurts & if I need a shoulder to cry on, my MIL is always there as is her son, my long-time husband. I couldn't make it w/o 'em & the kids

Okay, im a kid, and i love all of these old songs. the songs now, are just about breakups, drugs, and something im not supposed to talk about (LOL). songs like, mama hes crazy, daddy's hands, etc... why cant music be like this? thats seriously a GOOD song. now, i know teenagers, would never listen to songs like this, but i dont understand why!? im not saying i dont like rap, pop, hiphop, I mean i really LOVE paramore, but, you dont hear songs like this anymore, and i dont really like it :'(
