@cacsoccer101 No, it's called gaping.. You do not need to turn down the heat, or spray them. It's like a dog panting. It's how bearded dragons regulate their body temperature.

males and females both wave, its a sign of submission, although i think that females do wave more.. and head bobbing is a sign of dominance, and im prety sure bot male and female bob their heads, but i dont want to say for sure, cuz ive never actually seen a female bobbing its head, but i dont think it has anyhting to do wit the sex of the beardie..

they normally do it when they are young, minw is 9 months and doesnt at all now, but when it was 5 weeks to 2 months it did it quite a bit

slightly open mouth means too hot. wide open mouth like that is a behavioral thing. hes also puffing out his beard, well its a juvenile so what (s)he has of a beard, so its not due to heat. although that is something to watch out for.

Aight man...listen....he's arm waving cuz he sees his reflection in the parallel glass...thinks it's another Dragon...Arm waving means hey...I know your ass is bigger..plz don't eat or fuck with me....submissive. since he is so young he prolly is sumbiting to those box's that you see he doesnt know what they are. my beardie when he was younger arm waved at the vaccum that was infront of his tank i actually got a picture of it was cute. but yeah males can arm wave at younger ages its a sign of submission not bitchness. when they get older they just puff out ther bearde dturn it black and bob head tho iv only seen my dragon once puff out his beard and he is 10 months old.guess i got lucky with a good one.

Baby/Juvie males are known to arm wave. Adult males tend not to arm wave but still do on occasion if a much larger dominate male is around. My female bobs and arm waves whens she sees the male. She gets so confused. I need to post a vid of that.
