Endeavour is the baby of the fleet but has flown 20 times so far. It's the most up to date of the shuttles and will be the last one to be retired. I want to see her launch before they sadly stop flying them. The shuttles are beautiful to watch.
youre absolutley right I live in germany so will not have a chance to watch one of them launch. I was at KSC one time and I was a child then when we were there there was a shuttle supposed to launch but the launch was cancelled :(
Something tothink about:
the shuttles are 28 years old now and instead of building new ones with better technic they want them to be retired only because of two crashes. an airplane has to fly 10 years or longer and there are more plane crashes than spaceshuttle.
thats one big glider
