So LDStothecore there are two questions to be answered:
The molestation question which has two parts and the question about evidence. I answered your question with the promise to deliver more if it should be asked of me and so I expect you to do the same, not stutter like an blithering insipid idiot.
Prove it. Funny how I ask Mormons for evidence of their claims and for them to answer a critical question they stutter like Obama without a teleprompter and dance around the subject.
And furthermore LDStothecore as the person making the claim that homosexuality is immoral, the burden of proof is on you. Therefore you must provide EVIDENCE AND LOGIC to support your claim. Faith, the bible, "god said so" and so on are not evidence nor logic. They are no where near enough to justify your claim. If you fail to provide evidence that can stand up to scrutiny then
Also LDStothecore it has already been proven by DNA evidence and brain scan evidence that genes can cause a male fetus to not receive enough testosterone in the brain during fetal development and thus resulting in a feminine brain and thus a gay person. Thus being gay is not a choice but a developmental situation just like gender. So how can be homosexuality be immoral if gays have no choice? Natgeo already made a documentary on this and so it is fact, and fact trumps any faith
I fully applaud all these protesters, especially the two state senators and the former mayor of Salt Lake City, who are showing the world that there are people in Utah who believe in human rights and the protection of all Americans, and who understand that America is ruled by the US constitution and not by the religious law of the Mormon church.
@mermaidsareppl222 You couldn't be further from the truth. If you actually read what the LDS church says about this you would see that we don't hate anyone. No one is a second class citizen. Some people just need to find something to complain about.
@mermaidsareppl222 It has nothing to do with hate. God commands that marriage is between a man and a woman. Gay people are welcome in the LDS church. The sin is not the feelings, but acting on those feelings. Just as a single heterosexual must abstain, the same with gay people. It is not the church that demands this, but God.
And if god commanded you to molest kids would you do so? Would that make it correct? Yes or no to both parts of my question. And do not reply god would not do that because
a) I never asked if he would do it I ask if he did do it which is a hypothetical conditional that is not dependent on god actually doing it and therefore that is not an answer to any question I asked
b) your god condoned slavery, racism, rape, and genocide. Molestation would not be trouble for him
@SocraticFox Your question is ridiculous. Whatever God commands is right and good. Show proof where God condoned those things. And my God is the same God of all Christians.
@SocraticFox Being vulgar. I will no longer respond to vulgar people. God said that homosexuality is wrong. That's all I need to know. I am done with you.
Throwing in the towel because you cannot answer a simple question nor provide proof of your claims? I guess some Mormons are cowards after all. LOL. I will take your silence as acknowledgement that your belief and thus your church is false.
Thank you for flagging my video like a coward. I have made two more remakes and I am using two of my backup accounts to show it off to others. For each video you flag, two more will take its place. Flagging the videos will only give them more recondition and eventually that of Anonymous, whom you don't want to mess with. Have a nice day:)
hate to break it to you but homosexuality is not natural. if everyone turned homo, the entire human race would die out. thats proof that people werent made to be fags. just because u were bullied as a child or have some psychological instabilities doesnt mean being a homo is the answer. just watch
@aPremiumDude Homosexualioty is an alternative life style and someone's choice. YOU don't get to make any decisions for another adult's lifestyle choice. Nor do YOU get to legalize discrimination, because you don't like someone's lifestyle choice, either. How does gay marriage or a gay lifestyle even affect you remotely? What people do in the privacy of their own home is up to them, and as long as they are paying taxes and contributing to society, they should have equal rights. . .
@TheSFArchangel Homosexuality may be your choice but you can't force me to accept it as normal, and if you force me I will take up arms against you I will. The American people have spoken and said we don't want marriage being twisting for your perverted lifestyle and we will not be forced by some fake judge to agree with you. Again, there is a reason for the second amendment, and you perverts are getting to the point where we will exercise that right!
@BrianTerrill More BS threats and assumptions that because a person speaks up against discrimination and your angry homophobic rantings he must be gay...DEAD WRONG! I am someone who doesn't support discrimination against ANYONE including homosexuals, women, Afro-Americans, Asians, Latinos/Latinas and any other group that has the right to have their civil rights protected. I am a lifetime member of the NRA, an expert shot, and a combat veteran who won't hesitate to defend himself. GOT IT CREEP?
@TheSFArchangel Notice how you don't support discrimination against anyone including homosexuals, women, Afro-Americans, Asians Latinos etc. Notice how you people never say "Straight white men" or Christians for that matter. I'm not sugar coating it for you liberals, if you come after my Constitutional rights I'm going to defend them even if it means using the Second Amendment to do it!
@BrianTerrill BTW, are you "talking to me" or just reposting what you've already said to others on this board as it sounds EXACTLY the same. How about some honest dialogue instead of "canned phrases" and "veiled threats", Brian? You are "assuming" too much about me, with NO basis in fact.
@BrianTerrill "You people"? Please clarify WHAT YOU are calling ME here. Make sure you have facts, not assumptions. If YOU or others like you come after MY or anyone else's Constitutional rights, you can bet that I will exercise my Second Amendment rights as well, as will others who feel the same way. I'm not "sugar coating" it for you, either, you're a bully and bullies are easily defeated. You know why? Bullies "announce" their intentions via "threats" and this is not smart tactically.
@BrianTerrill "WE"? So what "extremist" group do YOU belong to? The KKK? Nazi Party? Your hate-filled comments sound EXACTLY like their sick philosophy toward others. If YOU don't like the fact that gays will probably get their full civil rights and the right to marry in the USA, then maybe YOU should LEAVE the USA, because YOU are NOT "a true American", despite what you claim. America is about equality, tolerance, freedom of choice, and civil rights for ALL! NOT JUST A FEW HOMOPHOBIC THUGS!
@TheSFArchangel How do you plan to get all that against the will of the American people? All those so called homophobic thugs happen to be Christians or people of other faiths. You would have to eradicate religion to get what you want, so it is not beneath me to believe that you intend to stuff people like me in an oven as Hitler did.
BTW you have equality, if you want to marry someone you have every right to find someone of the opposite gender who will marry you and start a family
@BrianTerrill Not ALL Christians and people of other religions are "homophobic thugs" like yourself. Many DO NOT agree with you and the LDS Church. Many Christian churches open their doors to members of the LGBT community, and have performed "committment ceremonies" and marriages where it is legal in the USA. The LDS Church welcomes and allows gays in their membership (Did YOU know this?) as long as they (gays) don't have sex because they can't get married. How ridiculous is this?
@BrianTerrill "Those so called Christians that approve of Homosexual behavior don't read the Bible." The Bible is a BOOK, it was written by MEN who "interpreted" what they "think" God meant, and like the game of "Telephone" God's Word was "interpreted" by each MAN as he saw fit. It was also written during a period of time when things were different, and procreation was necessary to populate the world. That's why "homosexuality" was forbidden by the Bible at the time, as no child was born of it.
@BrianTerrill You don't have to "eradicate" religion, you just have to separate State and Church, and NOT allow ANY Church or ANY religion to be the "bedroom police" or the "marriage police". The law should be the SAME for EVERYONE. Everyone marry whoever they want and enjoy ALL the same privileges, plus State and Federal benefits. You don't have to "mix" the two elements up or attempt to legislate discrimination because NO CHURCH OR RELIGION should have ANY say in how people choose to live.
@TheSFArchangel The Church has never been the bedroom police. We have never been in your bedroom, no one buy invited guest hopefully have been in your bedroom. We are saying that marriage is between a man and a woman as a protection to churches because marriages typically are began in churches. We see your misguided interpretations of the law and how some judges fall for your misguided views of the law and we see it to be a serious threat to our church because someday you'll sue a bishop
@BrianTerrill Then why is the LDS church spending thousands of dollars to support Prop H8? I could see a much better use for the Church's money. Why not feed the hungary, house the homeless, provide medical care to the poor? The LDS church could have been real "heroes" instead of trying to tell people how to live their lives, who they can or cannot marry, and leading a policitical campaign to legalize discrimination and bigotry. I lost respect for the LDS Church when they did this, as did many.
@BrianTerrill I do not support organized religion because I have seen the abuses that are rampant in it, and I am not just talking about the LDS Church. FYI, I lived in Utah, and had Mormon friends who were very kind to me. I have even visited the Mormon Temple in SLC and have a copy of your Book of Mormon. I don't "hate" Mormons, I just don't think a tax-exempt entity should be allowed to use their money (without paying taxes) to promote discrimination of US citizens or "define" marriage.
@BrianTerrill Not literally, but as I said earlier, NO CHURCH gets to make ANY decisions for a group of people that are US citizens and adults. I don't have "misguided" interpretations of the law, as I studied the law and I clearly know what is and isn't right. Prop H8 and measures like it NEVER should have been put on the CA ballot, period. "The Majority" doesn't get to vote on civil rights. If that was so, we wouldn't have equal rights today for women, Afro-Americans and other minorities.
@BrianTerrill Quite honestly, I won't be surprised if a gay group or gay couple "sues a bishop" in the near future for violating their civil rights. RIght now, there are many people not just gay people writing to the IRS and requesting that the LDS Church be sanctioned for spending tax-free money for political purposes in the Prop H8 campaign. They are demanding that the LDS Church lose their tax-exemption status and the IRS collect taxes on ALL the money that was used for Prop H8.
@TheSFArchangel N"O CHURCH OR RELIGION should have ANY say in how people choose to live." Unfortunatly for you we have this funny little thing called the first amendment that apart from prohibiting Congress from establishing a religion allows religion free exercise and further it allows individuals including prophets for that matter, the rights to free speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly etc. Like I said you homosexuals are trying to attack our Constitutional rights!!
@BrianTerrill "You homosexuals". Are you talking to ME? I hope not. ALL US citizens have the right (even the LGBT community) to have the SAME First and Second Amendment rights as YOU, you seem to ignore this fact, conveniently. YOU and your cronies are attacking THEIR rights in your PROP H8 campaign. There are NO PROPHETS on this earth, except those who proclaim they are, and those who are ignorant enough to follow them. FYI, Charlie Manson declared himself "a prophet" and so did Jim Jones.
@BrianTerrill The First Amendment also allows the SAME exact Constitutional rights for the LGBT community, and YOU conveniently forget this "funny little thing". It is YOU that is attacking the LGBT community's Constitutional rights! Somehow, you think you have some God-given right to do so, and that is where you are completely misinformed on the laws of this country. Your "interpretation" of the Constitution would NEVER hold up in a court of law. And I know this, from years of experience.
@TheSFArchangel "Everyone marry whoever they want and enjoy ALL the same privileges, plus State and Federal benefits."
Exactly!!! You hit it on the head. Homosexuals don't care about marriage, whenever they talk about marriage it's for the TAX BENEFITS!! Gives you a clue, hey if they really wanted tax benefits maybe they should stop voting for the people who would raise their taxes for a change. YOU tell me, how come the homosexual community votes for people like Obama instead of Ron Paul?
@BrianTerrill Again YOU are grossly "misinformed" about WHAT homosexuals want. They want the SAME things YOU want...a life time partner to love (but of the SAME SEX) the ability to have and raise a family which many have now, and the right to NOT be harassed or treated like second class citizens. They want to enjoy the SAME State and Federal benefits that YOU do, and since they already pay taxes, they should NOT be treated differently from YOU. Got it, Brian? It's about EQUALITY not TAXES.
@BrianTerrill Because Ron Paul is anti-gay, anti-abortion, anti-stem cell research for medical reasons, anti-death penalty, anti-war, and anti-gender equality in pay to name a few things.. He is a "good old boy" who thinks "straight, white men" should rule the earth and women are not his equal, no matter how well-educated. He wants to control the US government and "judicial process" in order to promote his own political agenda. Obama is a much better choice for gays and the USA.
@BrianTerrill The LGBT community DOES NOT have equality, and YOU know it! They don't want to love or marry someone of the opposite sex, they want to love someone of the SAME SEX. That's their privilege to live and love the way they want to without fear of censure, bashing, or "death threats" for doing so. YOU don't seem to get it, Brian. A gay man or lesbian want a partner of their choice, same sex, and they don't need a partner of the "opposite sex" to "start a family", as you state, today.
@TheSFArchangel You would have a better chance with me if you fought for the rights of homosexuals and lesbians instead of including the bis that don't want to get married and the boys that like wearing skirts
@BrianTerrill I DON'T NEED "a better chance with YOU". The LGBT community is "all encompassing" which includes gay males, lesbians, bisexuals, and transexuals, and they don't discriminate as YOU do! Marriage isn't for everyone, and there are many straight people of both sexes who find that out after they get married, or just choose to remain single. The divorce rate in the USA for straight couples is very high. Then there are those who get married to hide the fact that they are gay or bisexual.
@BrianTerrill And once more, you are "assuming" that anyone including myself who challenges you on this topic, must be gay. You would be surprised how many educated "straight, white, men" support gay rights, because in reality, NO ONE should be treated differently or discriminated against because of sex, religion, color, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. If YOU support hatred and discrimination, then "You will reap what you sow". If not in this life, then in the next one.
FYI, Brian Terrill started his delusional, homophobic rants a long time ago. RE: Oprah Takes on Prop. 8 Today. Posted: Nov 14, 2008. "God's wrath is in her neighborhood of Montecito. When the California Supreme Court legalized Gay marriage in Cali, wild fires raged. Now God's wrath is in Santa Barbara County to punish those who contributed the most to No on 8." "Fear the wrath of a just and angry God. Like Oprah cares about marriage anyways". GOD HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THOSE FIRES, BRIAN!
“We have a responsibility to follow the scriptures and the Bible teaches that homosexuality is a sin. Be grateful we don’t take care of it Old Testament style if you catch my drift.” (Brian Terrill, Nov 2008)
Forum Response: "Then there’s Brian Terrill. Brian, you’re pretty stupid using your real name on your blog and when you post death threats to other people’s blogs:Yeah, we understand a death threat when we see it. So how are things over there in Sacramento, Mr. big-muscled dork? "
@TheSFArchangel Did I actually say that? Be careful what you post about me, I will sue for slander or whatever legal term you are looking for. Who told you that I said that the US Ban on polygamy was an infringement on my religion, or that I wanted to kill gays? I did say "be grateful we don't take care of it Old Testament style if you catch my drift" I did say that, was I making a death threat? How is that a death threat?
@TheSFArchangel NO actually, it is not a repost at all, they took words that I said and mixed them around. I never said I hated fat girls, I never said that the US ban on polygamy was an infrindgment on my freedom of religion. Try reading it my friend, the US ban on polygamy upheld by the Supreme Court was based on the fact that Jefferson's statute in Virginia was the first in the country and that Jefferson also wrote the law in Virginia banning polygamy and sodomy.
BrianTerrill So, they "misinterpreted" your words, huh? Sounds strange that they would know these things about YOU, if you hadn't posted them on their boards. Why would YOU go to various gay forums, if you despise homosexuals, so much? Sounds like you were "cruising for a bruising" and they gave you one! It is a "repost" if you take what the "forum members" stated about YOU and identify the source and time frame which I did. I am well-schooled in the law, but thanks for the input.
@TheSFArchangel I never made a death threat to you, even when I said I would take up arms against you to defend my rights. If you infrindge on my Constitutional rights that I can actually spell out in the Constitution, I'll do whatever I must to defend those rights including exercising my second amendment rights. We have that right for a reason. I'm not going to track you down in a gay bar or wherever but if you come onto my property or my church or take me on the street and haze me...
@BrianTerrill That IS a "death threat" if you state that YOU will "take arms" against MEto defend YOUR rights and you don't "clarify" what you meant. I've read your posting to others on this board and elsewhere. You "talk" alot, and give "veiled" death threats, but when called on your sh*#, you try to "justify" your BS. You have a right (as I do) to protect your home, your family, and yourself, but unless you have a "license to carry" (as I do) you cannot legally carry a weapon.
@BrianTerrill "Haze you"? I think I may have just found the key to your rantings, and anti-homosexual agenda. WHO hazed YOU, Brian, was it a "fraternity" and you were a pledge? Did the "brothers" make you do something that angers you to this day? Or do you feel "guilty" and "ashamed" about something else?
@TheSFArchangel I never posted on any forums in 2008 other than on myspace and blogspot. The only things that you are correct in saying I said was "be grateful we don't take care of it Old Testament style if you catch my drift " and that line about Oprah. But the line about Oprah was me paraphrasing what a guy at work said in a discussion we had. The fact is they are taking me out of context, and going out of their way to say I said things that I didn't say and you are reposting their lies
@BrianTerrill BS. YOU posted on QUEER forums and the forums responded to it. They "called you out" and they knew you lived in Sacramento and claimed to be into body building, which is in their reponse to YOU in November 2008. Are YOU going to lie to me and say YOU NEVER posted hate on topics like Prop H8? We both know that YOU did, and they know you BY NAME. YOUR hate and same ranting MO against the gay community is the same as it is today, whether it was in 2008 (or before) or NOW.
@TheSFArchangel I'm still waiting for you to tell me how "taking care of it Old Testament style" is a death threat.. Come on tell me, both Jews and Christians use the Old Testament, the Muslims have similar beliefs. If you are accusing me of making death threats for citing the ways of the Old Testament in dealing with homosexuality please tell me how that is a death threat, most homosexuals tell me the Bible never says anything about homosexuality. So come on, how's that a death threat?
@BrianTerrill IFyou even bothered to look at both posts closely you will CLEARLY see that a disclaimer is there, "Forum Response" is cited in both of my postings. NOT MY WORDS, THEIRS. So, if you think you have a case against THEM, please sue. I think they will easily win, as they have ALL of your "death threats" in their files and archives for future reference. YOU should really THINK before YOU SPEAK, YOU are going to get sued for SLANDER or have a restraining order taken against YOU.
@TheSFArchangel THE FACT IS YOU REPOSTED HERE TO SLANDER ME, by reposting you took credit for the false accusations made by those people. All I said was "be grateful we don't take care of it Old Testament style" and you have failed to inform me how that is a death threat. So how is it a death threat? I could more easily interpret the fact that the gay community is trying to track me down to the exact address of where I live as an attempted death threat.
@BrianTerrill Sorry, WRONG again! I didn't take credit for the alleged "false accusations" made by those people, because YOU have yet to prove to me that they are FALSE! How is it that that a forum can "misinterpret" you, as THEY responded to what YOU posted, NOT ME. Your reference to the Old Testament "style" is a "veiled" death threat, because both you and I know what happened to "outsiders" or "sinners" in those "old" days. Right? Please don't try to tell me otherwise. It won't wash.
@BrianTerrill Believe me, YOU are the ONLY PERSON responsible for that happening, if it should happen to you.. YOU unfortunately posted some horrible things about gays in many locations on the Internet, and then YOU try to be "the victim", when YOU slandered many people on this board. You even used your real name and provided pictures for positive ID. Did you really think you would get away with your one-man hate campaign, and not get a negative reaction from the gay community and others?.
@BrianTerrill The gay community doesn't need to "track you down", as you claim you will be at all the LDS churches and other churches ready to "pound someone's face into the cement" if they should protest there. YOU will be very easy to ID, especially since you "brag" about this so much on the Internet in various gay forums. You have been positively Identified and your name will be provided to law enforcement, if you should ever attempt this kind of assault on a gay demonstrator or anyone else.
@BrianTerrill The Old Testament Reference to Kill Homosexuals: "If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them shall be put to death for their abominable deed; they have forfeited their lives." (Leviticus 20:13 NAB)
Yes, YOU meant it as a "death threat", don't try to deny it.
@BrianTerrill It's a repost. I didn't say that, YOU did. That was the FORUM's response to YOU and that is what THEY stated you said in your posts, blogs, etc. and THEY responded to your threats. You are making idle "death treats" when you post the BS you post to me and others on the board about "taking up arms" or "Old Testament style" etc. etc. Be careful of WHAT YOU POST!
Forum Response (Continued) "FYI, in addition to hating Gays, Brian also dislikes fat girls and thinks that the US ban on polygamy is an infringement of his “freedom of religion”. It’s also an infringement on his “freedom of religion” to not allow him to kill gays, apparently." (Both Forum responses posted Nov 2008 to Brian's Nov 2008 post against gays.)
@BrianTerrill That's right, I DON'T support discrimination against ANYONE, to include "straight, white men" or Christians. You live your life the way you want to, and let EVERYONE ELSE do the same. Just stay out of other people's lives, and don't try to legislate hatred and discrimination, or get ready for one hell of a fight. As for the Second Amendment, it applies to EVERYONE, Brian, and EVERYONE can use it to protect their Constitutional rights against bigotry and discrimination.
fags also believe in fairy tales such as being born gay or raising a psychologically sane and heterosexual child, or thinking that male genitalia was made to enter a butthole.
@aPremiumDude Obviously, you haven't done much reading on the subject or have seen the statistics on these first two topics. As far as the other sexual practice goes, STRAIGHT men practice anal sex with female partners, too. I'm sure they are using their male genitalia to do so.
Remember homos, tolerance goes both ways. If you want people to be tolerant of your lifestyle, be tolerant of our religious views, meaning quit bashing the bible by acting like it supports you. Blasphemous.
@aPremiumDude: "If you want people to be tolerant of your lifestyle"
-- PDude, if nothing else, please be crystal clear on this one point:
I do not give a rat's ass whether you "tolerate" me or not. What I do care about is having the same rights as you and every other citizen. Go tolerate someone else and keep your nose the hell out of my family.
Do gay "pastors" even read the bible?I wonder how many pages they have ripped out having to do with sexual immorality and even more specific , Jesus' direct quotes on what marriage is supposed to be, or do they just skip that part of the bible? Either one means not a true Christian so if ur gay don't consider yourself a Christ follower
@aPremiumDude: "Do gay "pastors" even read the bible?"
-Sure they do. Usually in far more detail than the fools who use that beautiful book as nothing more than an object to bash their neighbors with. Not all faiths accept the Bible, and no two of the 33,000 Christian denominations interpret it the same way. That's why there are so many of them.
The fact that a few of them, like you apparently, believe that only they are right-- is old news.
taking the bible out of context to fit your own personal flesh-led lifestyle is not reading the bible in more detail. If you add anything or ignore anything in the bible, yes including the part where it condemns homosexuality, then be prepared to face God's wrath as that is also said in the bible. The bible is not a wikipedia article that allows human beings to edit it. The word is is the same today, yesterday, and forever. What God meant yesterday, is still applied for today.
The LDS Church brought this upon themselves...they have every right to offer doctrine to their members but when they CHOOSE to enter the political arena, the gloves come off and they MUST be held accountable and accept the reaction from the public, however negative.
@SeattleRexx I concur. The LDS Church can't claim tax-exempt status and then throw thousands of dollars towards legalizing discrimination at the State or Federal level. That same money could have fed alot of hungary people or provided shelter to the homeless. What were they thinking?
@TheSFArchangel There you go again with taxes, you complain that the homosexuals should have the same tax benefits of others and you turn around and demand that churches get taxed for exercising their first amendment rights!! I've come to the conclusion that liberals want to have sex with taxes, that's what all the bizarre sex perversion is all about. It is not the people of the same gender that you love, it's TAXES!!
@Hotrodrogers91 I did this because after I called mike2jb civil he gave me that crap. I don't consider ignorance when you actually have morals, unlike the homosexuals. If it was natural wouldn't everyone agree with it? That is why Christians don't believe, or support homosexuality.
@Hotrodrogers91: "That is why Christians don't believe, or support homosexuality."
-- My pastor thinks you have no clue what you're talking about. So does his husband. So do millions of other American Christians. You're pretty full of yourself to think you speak for all of us.
Frankly, you sound like one of these YouTube jokers who hasn't seen the inside of a church in decades but who only trots out his 6th-grade understanding of religion when he wants to use it to reinforce his own bigotry.
@mike2jb Mainstream Christians belive that homosexuality is a sin. Thank yourself for being a bigot for smashing my religion. I'm sure your faggot pastor doesn't understand a lot of things. Like how to go to heaven. How can your denominational church even call themselves Christian?
@Hotrodrogers91: "How can your denominational church even call themselves Christian?"
-- My church (Episcopal) and the other major denominations that welcome same-sex marriage (Unitarian, United Church of Christ) were already ancient in the U.S. at a time when Joseph Smith was still trying to decide which friend's wife to screw next.
Do NOT presume to preach to me about what you call "Christian". Most Christians would not recognize your vile cult as anything remotely resembling Christianity.
@Hotrodrogers91 How can YOU call yourself a Christian when you are so full of hate and anger towards anyone different from yourself? Does YOUR church sanction hate and discrimination, or is this your own private philosophy?
@mike2jb You know what? I know that most Christians believe that homosexuality is a sin. I don't need a guy who's paster is gay and claims he is in a Christian (probably non-denominational) church. Thats why is confused. His church doesn't follow the mainstrem Christian doctorine. I am not going to reply to anymore of your crap because I will always be right. Have a good day!
@Hotrodrogers91: "If everyone was gay the human population would all die of aids."
-- Pure ignorance. Lesbians get this disease less than any other group.
.
"The majority of people with AIDS/HIV are gay."
-- 82% of worldwide AIDS cases are in heterosexuals.
.
"gays and lesbians only spread the disease, and its the only way to get it"
-- AIDS is caused by a virus. It, like syphilis and every other sexually-transmitted disease that ever existed, got its start with a penis in a vagina.
@mike2jb I will give you that. But gays are immoral it is not natural. You can tell me about the "gay" animals, but they are just showing their dominance,
-- Says you. Millions of members of hundreds of churches disagree with you. That's one reason there so many different churches. The rreal question is why you should force my church to obey what you personally believe is "moral."
.
"it is not natural"
-- Who cares? Neither is using a computer-- get your hands off the keyboard now if you only do what's "natural."
@Hotrodrogers91 Obviously, you haven't checked the CDC statistics. RIght now AIDS is rampant in the HETEROSEXUAL world. So your argument doesn't stand.
@Hotrodrogers91 AIDS is not exclusive to the gay male population. Straight men and straight women are dying from it as well. And not from sleeping with a gay male. Get your facts, straight.
Why would you want to defile a beautiful building such as the salt lake temple, it took 40 yrs to build and people died and risked their lives to get way from persecution 150 yrs ago only to recieve more, some of you should hear the things people though about my religon in school
"The standard of truth has been erected; No unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing; Persecutions may rage, mobs may combine, armies may assemble, and calumny may defame, but the truth of God will go forth boldly, nobly, and independent till it has penetrated every continent, visited every clime, swept every country, and sounded in every ear till the purposes of God shall be accomplished and the Great Jehovah shall say the work is done."
". . .Persecutions may rage, mobs may combine. . . .calumny may defame. . . "
I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints puts a strong emphasis on family and marriage being the only Christian faith that believes in eternal marriage. Of course, the church is going to defend beliefs that are central to its doctrinal teachings.
I pity those that don't see this. I know firsthand that same-sex attractions do happen, but to deny God by giving into them is a travesty.
I've gotten a lot of hate filled comments from you Satan worshiping homosexuals the past few weeks. I've grown to realize I've got better things to do with my life than debate homos with bitter pathetic lives who want to vent their anger on the internet. The fact is prop 8 past, more than just Mormons voted and agree that homosexuals are weirdos who should not have marriage redefined for them. The simple fact is nobody likes you, get over it!
The simple fact is marriage is defined by law as a union between a man and a woman, we shouldn't change it to appease of couple of weirdo perverts who want special rights, you want to get married, you fall in love with someone of the same gender and marry them. Don't force your weirdo perverted ways on the rest of the American people. Who are you to talk about the constitution anyways, you liberals don't believe in the second amendment.
@idaman12345 people like you want special rights. If you want to get married, find someone of the opposite gender who will marry you and have a happy life. Don't hijack the Constitution for the gay agenda. Remember you liberals hate the Constitution, it allowed slavery.
@idaman12345 What Constitution are you fighting for? Religious freedom is a Constitutional right, so is the right to own a gun and shoot it in self defense. I can spell it out for you, first and second amendment, where in the Constitution does it give rights to gays to be married? It doesn't. When the Constitution was formed those who created the bill of rights and other were not thinking about your precious perversion of homosexuality as something worth defending
@BrianTerrill Obviously, you didn't study the Constitution, because it is a "work in progress" and has adapted to the changes in society, as it should. The original Constitution permitted slavery and did not give women the right to vote. Years later that was changed so slavery was abolished, and women got the right to vote. The Constitution originally tried to ban the sale of alcohol, and that amendment was overturned as well. So, what makes you think that the Constitution won't be revised again
@BrianTerrill I think people here feel sorry for you and wonder why you are so filled with hate against homosexuals and need to express violence towards them every chance you get. Did you ever think that there are serious LEGAL complications for YOU if you should ever follow through with your threats to "pound someone to the ground". First, your victim may hurt YOU or even kill YOU in self defense. Second, do your really think YOU won't get arrested for assault with a hate crime enhancement?
@BrianTerrill Third, you have blatantly advertised on the Internet your intentions to "bash" or assault a gay person at a rally or elsewhere. This is PREMEDITATION and if carried out, YOU will get additional charges added to assault with a hate crime enhancement. Prison time is a given for all this. Someone like you would be a PRIME TARGET in prison, because you "talk the talk" but can't "walk the talk" and cons love that kind of thing. YOU will be some straight guy's bi#$% in a NY minute. LOL.
@BrianTerrill Don't assume that anyone here that challenges your sick rantings is a "homo", Brian..There are many straight people on this board that hate discrimination towards ANY group of individuals and don't respect hate mongers who promote violence, like yourself. You are "fixated" on homosexuals and violence toward them, which indicates deeper psychological problems and sexual conflict within yourself. Get some psychiatric help, Brian, you are very angry, delusional, and paranoid.
@BrianTerrill You claim you are a Mormon, yet you flagrantly disregard the LDS Church teachings with your hate and violent threats. Does your bishop and fellow Mormons know about you posting such angry, violence-filled, homophobic rants on the Internet? Maybe they should know about your threatening behavior. .I think if they knew, you would be excommunicated for being such a poor example of what the LDS church wants in its members. You are a disgrace and a bully. Enough said.
@BrianTerrill And YOU will probably get ALOT MORE if YOU continue to HATE people and spew poison on this board and elsewhere on the INTERNET? Who the hell do YOU think YOU are calling people "Satan-worshiping homos
Furthermore LDScowardcore, your silence indicates and suggests that you know your beliefs to be false

So LDStothecore there are two questions to be answered:
The molestation question which has two parts and the question about evidence. I answered your question with the promise to deliver more if it should be asked of me and so I expect you to do the same, not stutter like an blithering insipid idiot.
SocraticFox 1 week ago
''Whatever God commands is right and good.''
Prove it. Funny how I ask Mormons for evidence of their claims and for them to answer a critical question they stutter like Obama without a teleprompter and dance around the subject.
SocraticFox 1 week ago
And furthermore LDStothecore as the person making the claim that homosexuality is immoral, the burden of proof is on you. Therefore you must provide EVIDENCE AND LOGIC to support your claim. Faith, the bible, "god said so" and so on are not evidence nor logic. They are no where near enough to justify your claim. If you fail to provide evidence that can stand up to scrutiny then
a) no one needs to believe you
b) your claim is irrational
c) you have not established your claim
SocraticFox 1 week ago
Also LDStothecore it has already been proven by DNA evidence and brain scan evidence that genes can cause a male fetus to not receive enough testosterone in the brain during fetal development and thus resulting in a feminine brain and thus a gay person. Thus being gay is not a choice but a developmental situation just like gender. So how can be homosexuality be immoral if gays have no choice? Natgeo already made a documentary on this and so it is fact, and fact trumps any faith
SocraticFox 1 week ago
I fully applaud all these protesters, especially the two state senators and the former mayor of Salt Lake City, who are showing the world that there are people in Utah who believe in human rights and the protection of all Americans, and who understand that America is ruled by the US constitution and not by the religious law of the Mormon church.

@mermaidsareppl222 It has nothing to do with hate. God commands that marriage is between a man and a woman. Gay people are welcome in the LDS church. The sin is not the feelings, but acting on those feelings. Just as a single heterosexual must abstain, the same with gay people. It is not the church that demands this, but God.

b) your god condoned slavery, racism, rape, and genocide. Molestation would not be trouble for him

What people do in the privacy of their own home is up to them, and as long as they are paying taxes and contributing to society, they should have equal rights. . .

I'm not "sugar coating" it for you, either, you're a bully and bullies are easily defeated. You know why? Bullies "announce" their intentions via "threats" and this is not smart tactically.
TheSFArchangel 1 year ago 2
@BrianTerrill "WE"? So what "extremist" group do YOU belong to? The KKK? Nazi Party? Your hate-filled comments sound EXACTLY like their sick philosophy toward others. If YOU don't like the fact that gays will probably get their full civil rights and the right to marry in the USA, then maybe YOU should LEAVE the USA, because YOU are NOT "a true American", despite what you claim. America is about equality, tolerance, freedom of choice, and civil rights for ALL! NOT JUST A FEW HOMOPHOBIC THUGS!
TheSFArchangel 1 year ago 7
@TheSFArchangel How do you plan to get all that against the will of the American people? All those so called homophobic thugs happen to be Christians or people of other faiths. You would have to eradicate religion to get what you want, so it is not beneath me to believe that you intend to stuff people like me in an oven as Hitler did.
BTW you have equality, if you want to marry someone you have every right to find someone of the opposite gender who will marry you and start a family
BrianTerrill 1 year ago
@BrianTerrill Not ALL Christians and people of other religions are "homophobic thugs" like yourself. Many DO NOT agree with you and the LDS Church. Many Christian churches open their doors to members of the LGBT community, and have performed "committment ceremonies" and marriages where it is legal in the USA. The LDS Church welcomes and allows gays in their membership (Did YOU know this?) as long as they (gays) don't have sex because they can't get married. How ridiculous is this?
TheSFArchangel 1 year ago
@TheSFArchangel Those so called Christians that approve of Homosexual behavior don't read the Bible
BrianTerrill 1 year ago
@BrianTerrill "Those so called Christians that approve of Homosexual behavior don't read the Bible." The Bible is a BOOK, it was written by MEN who "interpreted" what they "think" God meant, and like the game of "Telephone" God's Word was "interpreted" by each MAN as he saw fit. It was also written during a period of time when things were different, and procreation was necessary to populate the world. That's why "homosexuality" was forbidden by the Bible at the time, as no child was born of it.
TheSFArchangel 1 year ago
@BrianTerrill You don't have to "eradicate" religion, you just have to separate State and Church, and NOT allow ANY Church or ANY religion to be the "bedroom police" or the "marriage police". The law should be the SAME for EVERYONE. Everyone marry whoever they want and enjoy ALL the same privileges, plus State and Federal benefits. You don't have to "mix" the two elements up or attempt to legislate discrimination because NO CHURCH OR RELIGION should have ANY say in how people choose to live.
TheSFArchangel 1 year ago
@TheSFArchangel The Church has never been the bedroom police. We have never been in your bedroom, no one buy invited guest hopefully have been in your bedroom. We are saying that marriage is between a man and a woman as a protection to churches because marriages typically are began in churches. We see your misguided interpretations of the law and how some judges fall for your misguided views of the law and we see it to be a serious threat to our church because someday you'll sue a bishop
BrianTerrill 1 year ago
@BrianTerrill Then why is the LDS church spending thousands of dollars to support Prop H8? I could see a much better use for the Church's money. Why not feed the hungary, house the homeless, provide medical care to the poor? The LDS church could have been real "heroes" instead of trying to tell people how to live their lives, who they can or cannot marry, and leading a policitical campaign to legalize discrimination and bigotry. I lost respect for the LDS Church when they did this, as did many.
TheSFArchangel 1 year ago
@BrianTerrill I do not support organized religion because I have seen the abuses that are rampant in it, and I am not just talking about the LDS Church. FYI, I lived in Utah, and had Mormon friends who were very kind to me. I have even visited the Mormon Temple in SLC and have a copy of your Book of Mormon. I don't "hate" Mormons, I just don't think a tax-exempt entity should be allowed to use their money (without paying taxes) to promote discrimination of US citizens or "define" marriage.
TheSFArchangel 1 year ago
@BrianTerrill Not literally, but as I said earlier, NO CHURCH gets to make ANY decisions for a group of people that are US citizens and adults. I don't have "misguided" interpretations of the law, as I studied the law and I clearly know what is and isn't right. Prop H8 and measures like it NEVER should have been put on the CA ballot, period. "The Majority" doesn't get to vote on civil rights. If that was so, we wouldn't have equal rights today for women, Afro-Americans and other minorities.
TheSFArchangel 1 year ago
@BrianTerrill Quite honestly, I won't be surprised if a gay group or gay couple "sues a bishop" in the near future for violating their civil rights. RIght now, there are many people not just gay people writing to the IRS and requesting that the LDS Church be sanctioned for spending tax-free money for political purposes in the Prop H8 campaign. They are demanding that the LDS Church lose their tax-exemption status and the IRS collect taxes on ALL the money that was used for Prop H8.
TheSFArchangel 1 year ago
@TheSFArchangel N"O CHURCH OR RELIGION should have ANY say in how people choose to live." Unfortunatly for you we have this funny little thing called the first amendment that apart from prohibiting Congress from establishing a religion allows religion free exercise and further it allows individuals including prophets for that matter, the rights to free speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly etc. Like I said you homosexuals are trying to attack our Constitutional rights!!
BrianTerrill 1 year ago
@BrianTerrill "You homosexuals". Are you talking to ME? I hope not. ALL US citizens have the right (even the LGBT community) to have the SAME First and Second Amendment rights as YOU, you seem to ignore this fact, conveniently. YOU and your cronies are attacking THEIR rights in your PROP H8 campaign. There are NO PROPHETS on this earth, except those who proclaim they are, and those who are ignorant enough to follow them. FYI, Charlie Manson declared himself "a prophet" and so did Jim Jones.
TheSFArchangel 1 year ago
@BrianTerrill The First Amendment also allows the SAME exact Constitutional rights for the LGBT community, and YOU conveniently forget this "funny little thing". It is YOU that is attacking the LGBT community's Constitutional rights! Somehow, you think you have some God-given right to do so, and that is where you are completely misinformed on the laws of this country. Your "interpretation" of the Constitution would NEVER hold up in a court of law. And I know this, from years of experience.
TheSFArchangel 1 year ago
@BrianTerrill that is a common lie spread by religion
idaman12345 1 year ago
@TheSFArchangel "Everyone marry whoever they want and enjoy ALL the same privileges, plus State and Federal benefits."
Exactly!!! You hit it on the head. Homosexuals don't care about marriage, whenever they talk about marriage it's for the TAX BENEFITS!! Gives you a clue, hey if they really wanted tax benefits maybe they should stop voting for the people who would raise their taxes for a change. YOU tell me, how come the homosexual community votes for people like Obama instead of Ron Paul?
BrianTerrill 1 year ago
@BrianTerrill Again YOU are grossly "misinformed" about WHAT homosexuals want. They want the SAME things YOU want...a life time partner to love (but of the SAME SEX) the ability to have and raise a family which many have now, and the right to NOT be harassed or treated like second class citizens. They want to enjoy the SAME State and Federal benefits that YOU do, and since they already pay taxes, they should NOT be treated differently from YOU. Got it, Brian? It's about EQUALITY not TAXES.
TheSFArchangel 1 year ago
@BrianTerrill Because Ron Paul is anti-gay, anti-abortion, anti-stem cell research for medical reasons, anti-death penalty, anti-war, and anti-gender equality in pay to name a few things.. He is a "good old boy" who thinks "straight, white men" should rule the earth and women are not his equal, no matter how well-educated. He wants to control the US government and "judicial process" in order to promote his own political agenda. Obama is a much better choice for gays and the USA.
TheSFArchangel 1 year ago
@BrianTerrill The LGBT community DOES NOT have equality, and YOU know it! They don't want to love or marry someone of the opposite sex, they want to love someone of the SAME SEX. That's their privilege to live and love the way they want to without fear of censure, bashing, or "death threats" for doing so. YOU don't seem to get it, Brian. A gay man or lesbian want a partner of their choice, same sex, and they don't need a partner of the "opposite sex" to "start a family", as you state, today.
TheSFArchangel 1 year ago
@TheSFArchangel You would have a better chance with me if you fought for the rights of homosexuals and lesbians instead of including the bis that don't want to get married and the boys that like wearing skirts
BrianTerrill 1 year ago
@BrianTerrill I DON'T NEED "a better chance with YOU". The LGBT community is "all encompassing" which includes gay males, lesbians, bisexuals, and transexuals, and they don't discriminate as YOU do! Marriage isn't for everyone, and there are many straight people of both sexes who find that out after they get married, or just choose to remain single. The divorce rate in the USA for straight couples is very high. Then there are those who get married to hide the fact that they are gay or bisexual.
TheSFArchangel 1 year ago
@BrianTerrill And once more, you are "assuming" that anyone including myself who challenges you on this topic, must be gay. You would be surprised how many educated "straight, white, men" support gay rights, because in reality, NO ONE should be treated differently or discriminated against because of sex, religion, color, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. If YOU support hatred and discrimination, then "You will reap what you sow". If not in this life, then in the next one.

"So how is it a death threat?"
You knew exactly what you were doing. Now, like the coward you are, you lie when caught red-handed.
"the fact that the gay community is trying to track me down to the exact address of where I live as an attempted death threat"
Imagination running wild? You are not the victim.

@cryan71 I agree.

TheSFArchangel 1 year ago

@aPremiumDude So quit gay bashing, dude, if you want respect from the rest of us.
TheSFArchangel 1 year ago 2
@aPremiumDude Obviously, you haven't done much reading on the subject or have seen the statistics on these first two topics. As far as the other sexual practice goes, STRAIGHT men practice anal sex with female partners, too. I'm sure they are using their male genitalia to do so.
TheSFArchangel 1 year ago
Remember homos, tolerance goes both ways. If you want people to be tolerant of your lifestyle, be tolerant of our religious views, meaning quit bashing the bible by acting like it supports you. Blasphemous.
aPremiumDude 1 year ago
@aPremiumDude: "If you want people to be tolerant of your lifestyle"
-- PDude, if nothing else, please be crystal clear on this one point:
I do not give a rat's ass whether you "tolerate" me or not. What I do care about is having the same rights as you and every other citizen. Go tolerate someone else and keep your nose the hell out of my family.

@aPremiumDude same goes for you religious people
why should gays tolerate those who refuse to tolerate them?
idaman12345 1 year ago
Do gay "pastors" even read the bible?I wonder how many pages they have ripped out having to do with sexual immorality and even more specific , Jesus' direct quotes on what marriage is supposed to be, or do they just skip that part of the bible? Either one means not a true Christian so if ur gay don't consider yourself a Christ follower
aPremiumDude 1 year ago
@aPremiumDude: "Do gay "pastors" even read the bible?"
-Sure they do. Usually in far more detail than the fools who use that beautiful book as nothing more than an object to bash their neighbors with. Not all faiths accept the Bible, and no two of the 33,000 Christian denominations interpret it the same way. That's why there are so many of them.
The fact that a few of them, like you apparently, believe that only they are right-- is old news.
Why don't you go stone an adulterer or something?
mike2jb 1 year ago
@mike2jb
taking the bible out of context to fit your own personal flesh-led lifestyle is not reading the bible in more detail.

SeattleRexx 1 year ago

Hotrodrogers91 1 year ago
@Hotrodrogers91: "That is why Christians don't believe, or support homosexuality."
-- My pastor thinks you have no clue what you're talking about. So does his husband. So do millions of other American Christians. You're pretty full of yourself to think you speak for all of us.
Frankly, you sound like one of these YouTube jokers who hasn't seen the inside of a church in decades but who only trots out his 6th-grade understanding of religion when he wants to use it to reinforce his own bigotry.
mike2jb 1 year ago
@mike2jb Mainstream Christians belive that homosexuality is a sin. Thank yourself for being a bigot for smashing my religion. I'm sure your faggot pastor doesn't understand a lot of things. Like how to go to heaven. How can your denominational church even call themselves Christian?
Hotrodrogers91 1 year ago
@Hotrodrogers91: "How can your denominational church even call themselves Christian?"
-- My church (Episcopal) and the other major denominations that welcome same-sex marriage (Unitarian, United Church of Christ) were already ancient in the U.S. at a time when Joseph Smith was still trying to decide which friend's wife to screw next.
Do NOT presume to preach to me about what you call "Christian". Most Christians would not recognize your vile cult as anything remotely resembling Christianity.
mike2jb 1 year ago
@Hotrodrogers91 How can YOU call yourself a Christian when you are so full of hate and anger towards anyone different from yourself? Does YOUR church sanction hate and discrimination, or is this your own private philosophy?
TheSFArchangel 1 year ago

It, like syphilis and every other sexually-transmitted disease that ever existed, got its start with a penis in a vagina.
mike2jb 1 year ago
@mike2jb I will give you that. But gays are immoral it is not natural. You can tell me about the "gay" animals, but they are just showing their dominance,
Hotrodrogers91 1 year ago
@Hotrodrogers91: "But gays are immoral"

@Hotrodrogers91 Read the CDC reports, that is not true. Drug users and straight men and women have a high percentage of AIDS/HIV.
TheSFArchangel 1 year ago
@Hotrodrogers91 Obviously, you haven't checked the CDC statistics. RIght now AIDS is rampant in the HETEROSEXUAL world. So your argument doesn't stand.

BrianTerrill 1 year ago
the simple fact is that prop h8 is unconstitutional and should be overturned
gays and lesbians want equal rights
people like you want special rights
idaman12345 1 year ago
The simple fact is marriage is defined by law as a union between a man and a woman, we shouldn't change it to appease of couple of weirdo perverts who want special rights, you want to get married, you fall in love with someone of the same gender and marry them. Don't force your weirdo perverted ways on the rest of the American people. Who are you to talk about the constitution anyways, you liberals don't believe in the second amendment.
BrianTerrill 1 year ago
but we should give weirdo perverts (who follow some "bible") special rights
last i checked the bible said all man is created equal
yet you religious perverts want special rights
take your own advice and dont force your weirdo perverted ways on the rest of America
idaman12345 1 year ago
@idaman12345 people like you want special rights. If you want to get married, find someone of the opposite gender who will marry you and have a happy life. Don't hijack the Constitution for the gay agenda. Remember you liberals hate the Constitution, it allowed slavery.
BrianTerrill 1 year ago
@BrianTerrill those fighting for the constitution hate it?
gay people want equal rights
its communists like you that want special rights
idaman12345 1 year ago
@idaman12345 What Constitution are you fighting for? Religious freedom is a Constitutional right, so is the right to own a gun and shoot it in self defense. I can spell it out for you, first and second amendment, where in the Constitution does it give rights to gays to be married? It doesn't. When the Constitution was formed those who created the bill of rights and other were not thinking about your precious perversion of homosexuality as something worth defending
BrianTerrill 1 year ago

TheSFArchangel 1 year ago
@BrianTerrill Third, you have blatantly advertised on the Internet your intentions to "bash" or assault a gay person at a rally or elsewhere. This is PREMEDITATION and if carried out, YOU will get additional charges added to assault with a hate crime enhancement. Prison time is a given for all this. Someone like you would be a PRIME TARGET in prison, because you "talk the talk" but can't "walk the talk" and cons love that kind of thing. YOU will be some straight guy's bi#$% in a NY minute. LOL.
TheSFArchangel 1 year ago
@BrianTerrill Don't assume that anyone here that challenges your sick rantings is a "homo", Brian..There are many straight people on this board that hate discrimination towards ANY group of individuals and don't respect hate mongers who promote violence, like yourself. You are "fixated" on homosexuals and violence toward them, which indicates deeper psychological problems and sexual conflict within yourself. Get some psychiatric help, Brian, you are very angry, delusional, and paranoid.
TheSFArchangel 1 year ago
@BrianTerrill You claim you are a Mormon, yet you flagrantly disregard the LDS Church teachings with your hate and violent threats. Does your bishop and fellow Mormons know about you posting such angry, violence-filled, homophobic rants on the Internet? You are a disgrace and a bully. Enough said.
