@hackdan ...that's actually pretty bad :) i got better results by controlling environment and light (browse my videos). I have also been playing around with an IR bandpass filter and IR emitters, which gave me less than average results. It has probably been due to the limited power of the emitters I have used. Will soon experiment further with self made emitters. Thanks for your comment. gabor
@eingeneinpoly I had the same problem. The first experince with
IR Lamp was very expensive dificult to mount and other bads things, but
now i buy in environmentallights,
and the filters in maxmax, the 850 nm strip is very high power ir iluminator and the angle of illumination is great, and X-nite 850nm or 1000nm ir pass filter. The 1000nm filter is best because you have a 850nm of light always get more nm in filter
@hackdan I shall try that. thanks for the tip. What kind of project were you working on? Ive also seen your Unity game environment. Do you develop with Unity?
@eingeneinpoly Actually i'm using openframeworks as a backend assets manager like opticalflow, gestures, osc, opencv , box2d, ffmv, touchlib/TUIO/CCA, and connect all of things with osc to unity3d as a front end engine. My last work was a interactive LG phone keynote on wall. soon i am upload for the videos of my work and delete the f^·ck of video from my lost bet....
looks good maybe if you use a filter lika congo blue the thresold be more fit.
