Got one yesterday and the hd sound blew me away, Certainly the best mp3 i have owned. it by far surpasses an ipod on sound.

I was literally walking down the street with a goofy grin on the my face because of the bass

If it keeps coming up with found new 'mtp device' or something rather , then unplug the mp3 > reboot PC > when it's back on your desktop plug in your mp3/4 > the new hardware wizard will pop up and instead of selecting "automatically search for drivers", choose "i want to specify driver' > there should be something like 'usb mass storage device" on there - select that , and click next etc etc. That should solve it for ya , (assuming you are using windows).

Also don't be surprised if it works perfect on another computer without going through the process i described, it's common amongst these type of devices. Someone in Nerd-world aint doing their job right i guess.

Yes it will. It comes with a very uselfull CD rom thats got software that will convert itunes and videos from bbc iplayer.

step 1 open windows media player step 2 click the on the thing that says sync you should see a mp3 in the right conner and it says drag items here drag the video there and press the start sync button but it has to be a wmv video file

This is A SHITTY Product. Philips should be ashame of themselves! The software is a slice of HELL. It will crash every few mins. When you bluetooth any music or video across, it will corrupt the whole player. I am so surprise that Philips has hit shit bottom!

My philips mp3 player broke when I didn't do anything to it at all. When I turn it on it freezes everytime at the same spot where it says Go Gear. It worked nicely but it just broke all of a sudden and when I try to plug it into my computer it says that the player isn't connected. UGH! I don't know what to do. :(

Great review, I got the 16GB version, going to put lose of movies on it. good thing comes with a converter with the right settings so I don't need to play around with the program to work. right now puting madagascar 2 on my player.

One thing though it was a hassle opening the box, lol, very tight sealing.

And cool thing it has a puch with it to protect the play which is very cool and nice quality headphones, not the cheap crap. 5/5

On the bottom, right from the "lock" is a little hole, use a pen and insert the pen in the hole. This will Reset the GoGear. (Sorry when my English isn't perfect, I'm from Germany)
