  • DLB; its only taken 20 years for hip hop to turn to garbage, are you still going to save it? I hope so...

  • ..............

  • They should Re-release this with His video Idea.. it was ahead of it's time then, and would be a fresh welcome now...If Common can do his "universal Mind control" Vid---(not hating, I love that song) as fresh.. This song with a new video Will stand it's ground for today's public, and to the year 4000!!

  • Take an idea from way,way back and bring it up to date, to make contact...'Nuff said.

  • Davey Dee you are the best, cut these beats cause you are so FRESHHHHHH!

  • Can still remember buying this record at the time! and going home and playing it to death ever since. A classic by some true legends of Hip Hop.

  • Thanks For Posting This and Explaining the origin and History of It.. I have The Problems Album in a crate at Gramma's House.. This song brings back so many MeMorIEs!! Just a Quick FYI to all who don't know.. HIP HOP is all about Entertainment, Fun, INspiration, & INforMaTioN, It is to Inspire motivate uplift and unify our culture... That is the Original intent of HIP HOP MuSIC..

  • this is sik

  • I was checking out a lotta b-boys/b-girls,poppers,and lockers do their thing to this shit while I attended I.S. 52 on Kelly Street in The Bronx. I still live across the street from that school to this day.

  • DOPE!!!!!!! Remember playing this All, day every day for like a WEEK as a youngung!! LOL! THANK YOU for upping this joint!!!

  • Young folks !!!!! The first to use a vocoder is Mr Herbie Hancock!!!! LISTEN TO THE GREATS OF MUSIC before making trash songs.

  • @2maxxjazz what about the vocoder on Rufus ft Chaka Khan's "tell me something good"/

  • THIS IS D' SHIT!! THESE MOTHERFUCKERS ARE D' BEST-A TIMELESS CLASSIC...

  • my name is MasaiElectro,i learned how to sound exactly like this vocoder by only using my human voice from listening to this song as a kid.see MASAIELECTRO on youtube for proof.Much respect to THE FEARLESS FOUR,one of my favorite groups.

  • ...just so u know Dj M1 M2 is Marly marl

  • YOU BURNT wasted new skool cats will never get it!

and this still ahead of its time

  • This Is A Classic Jam!! Pure OLD SCHOOl Realness, This DLB of the fearless for Rhyming through this Whole Jam!! Telling you about his CREW the FEARLESS FOUR... Classsic!! I think T Pain must of been a TOTTLER at this time..

    ReAl PIoneers Here.. HARLEM STYLE!!

  • Thats REAL old school hip hop..Brings back lots of memories. Thanks so much for posting that!!

  • classic robot sound machine LOL!!!!!!!!

  • How come there is no B Boys records like 'Two Three Break' & 'Cuttin Herbie' on YouTube? may have to dig out the vinyls and have a go at putin them on

  • Great Jam...the vocoder was the 'in' thing at the time with Zapp using it extensively. Kinda dated now but doesn't distract from the classic jam.

  • @fredblassie123 zapp used a voice box which is the tube thing in his mouth that modulates the sound of his keyboards, everybody needs a vocoder though, electro harmonix makes a dope one, the v256 for about $200 that is excellent

  • Heard this when it first came out and immediately fell in love with it. This was a popular song to POP to like "It''s Just Begun" was a popular to break dance to. Crazy Eddie was an ill DJ too. Takes me back everytime I hear it. TRUE HIP HOP CULTURE. This could take out alot garbage thats out here today.

  • I've got the instrumental to this from a promo 12" vinyl, I loved it still play it now

  • What crap, and a waste of time!

  • real hip hop...neva gonna be like dis again fam!

  • De La Soul (Rollerskating Jam called Saturday) jacked the scratch from this one...

  • Comment removed

  • @VoiceEncoder I think it's an SVC-350. I had one for years and then sold it on ebay a while back. I could make my voice sound identical to the one on the F4000 vocal track easily with the SVC-350.

  • @Obinjess I just re-listened to this, and you know what...you're RIGHT!!! It IS a SVC-350, NOT a VP-330!! I wasn't paying attention last time. The SVC-350 is rough-sounding (grrr) like this is, and the VP-330 is more smooth velvety-sounding. I stand corrected!!

  • this was made ahead of its time and just now the newscool freaks are understanding the robot voice...lol!

  • hot track..ole school. I've got 4 clean original copies! loved the song
