I know a bit of music theory and have been playing bass for some years now, but for the life of me, when I see harmonics being used, it just dumbfounds me! I have no idea how to even get started using them. Any suggestions on how to get started on incorporating harmonics in bass playing?
Take a look at my video on the subject of harmonics. Technically, it can be hard to make them sound strong at first. Make sure you are plucking close to the bridge, they will jump out better that way.
