@shadowskeeper21 Snow dirt? I meant to say that if it snows in your world, it's a taiga biome. And if you are in a forest biome, it rains. Rains in forest, and snows in taiga. Okay? If it snows, it rains. If it rains, it snows.

hello my server recently got snow over the whole world

i know this musta been someone who did, tried to find out who did it but noes. i saw this and was like yes!! but there is no such thing as Snowcovered. how do i get rid of all snow? i was like ok its not that bad we can remove all snow around the city.

but it just gets spawned 2 seconds after i remove the block, we played for like 2 weeks on the server and spent more time on minecraft than i did on any other server please help me, counterafk

erm.... I opened the "World" folder and got 2 level folders. level.dat and level.bak. neither have "snowcovered" and I don;t think anything does... maybe because I'm in Beta?

@greggattacking If you're using Windows XP, open "my computer" and follow this; C:\Documents and Settings\*username*\Applicatio­n Data\.minecraft\saves

When you open one of the folders, they should be called "world 1", "world 2" etc. the file called "level" is the one that you need to use with NBT edit.

To be able to get to some of the folders, you need to show hidden folders. For XP, open any folder, and click at the top "tools" then "folder options". Go to view, and show hidden folders.
