Everyone's knee jerk reaction is to say Ice's music is horrible. I was 19 when he came out & I remember everyone & I mean everyone bobbing their heads to this song & Ice Ice Baby. To the Extreme sold 11 Million copies so somebody out there liked it. I never heard the whole album but I like this song.

Remember though, this wasn't what "Play That Funky Music" originally sounded like. The record label he was signed to after "Ice Ice Baby" became popular had him remix the song to make it more catchy. The original one that came out before "Ice Ice Baby" sounded slower and a little more street than the one that became a hit.
