@T7GFX Im gonna work there in 2023. I Hope there isn`t another attack but i will be Ready. =) (Remember Always Bring a Parachute to a High rise Building if you work on a high floor) GOD BLESS YOU AND AMERICA AND THE WORLD
@MrJackonRocks Hey dude very nice view HOWEVER one problem you are NOT allowed to deviate from the VFR Corridor! You have to stay OVER THE HUDSON! Additionally you must stay under 1300 MSL, therefore your not keeping 1000' clearance from top of structures. Way to go, when the FAA takes away this privledge to small private aircraft when ONE PERSON RUINS IT FOR THE REST OF US.
@Luckyniki2 Thanks for the watch! Actually, feel free to read the description. This was a commercial flight, on a modified VFR flight plan, coordinated with KLGA, KJFK, KEWR and New York center prior to launch. This was NOT a private flight, and we take our work extremely seriously. For what it's worth, we were cleared a block airspace between 1700-2000', Everything here was TSA cleared and FAA legal!
@Llamaz44 Thanks for the watch. The Hudson River Corridor handles roughly 200 non-jet aircraft each and every day. New Yorkers are fine with this, and (heh) seldom look up. It's the jet noise that freaks them out.
@fttp211 Thanks for the watch! The name "Freedom Tower" comes from the tower's eventual height of 1776 feet, or the year of our Independence, hence Freedom Tower. It has nothing to do with the incident of 9/11.
Ok i give props (no pun intended :) to the pilot for trying to do this but seriously, couldnt you have gone about 1/2 a mile or so out then turned about so we could have had a much much longer view of the tower. Between you circling around constantly the tower only stays in view 2 or 3 seconds at a time, most of the time showing the OTHER buildings.
@Antianythingism Thanks for the comments! This was a commercial flight for "still" photography of the FT (Photographer was sitting "right seat"). This video was simply a byproduct of the maneuvers required for good still photography. Aside from being very restricted with the airspace as to what you can and cannot do with air traffic control, the main purpose was for the stills. Stay tuned (Subscribe!)…there will be more to come with much better views. Feel free to share! :) Thanks!
@hunterTS4 Thanks for watching! I do have a planned spot for emergencies away from the city, and I'm able to glide to it from this location. It's always on my mind...safety first!
Great shots of Jersey and NYC! Thank you for this video. I got real homesick watching it.

@bigjon18680 Probably not double, but it's final height should be 1776 feet.

I'll bet the people on the ground got nervous once they saw a plane flying near the unfinished world trade center... just saying

Very nice flying...what kind of a camera setup did you use? Very clear image and stable.
JMCMSU81 1 month ago
@JMCMSU81 I used a GoPro Hero2 attached inside with their suction cup. The stability was simply unusually smooth air that day.
