I really hate how whenever phil loses a match all the haters and trolls come out in the comments. Matches like this is why I quit this game entirely. One day there will be an online fighting game where the connection isnt pure shit and spammers and lag abusers can easily be dealt with. MvC 3 looks like that game.
@stayflyxx If you have a good and dedicated connection, I'd say go ahead and buy it. It's one of the best fighting games ever made. Be warned, though, Phil's complaints aren't completely exaggerated. So just know that when it lags it REALLY screws up your gameplay.

what i hate about that game is that online the vast majority of players dont even try to play good or get better, they just hit random buttons and cause of the lag they sometimes win. I dont even care if i'm losing to a good player, cause i learn from these matches. But the scrubs really spoil this game for me, you cant even call those matches gameplay.
SSFIV online is actually very playable. From time to time, sure you play people where the input lag makes it tough. That's why you make friends with the people you have a flawless connection with in order to make it an enjoyable experience
@miro995 it's kinda bearable after you get used to it, but if you've only played offline before it's very hard to play properly. Still, the lag is nothing compared to other games like Tekken 6.

No one has ever argued that there isn't a difference. @Energyone : He talked about that back in Street Fighter 4 and when he started playing Super Street Fighter 4 when he said he changed something to fix the connection. How do you know he hasn't done anything about it since then? For fuck's sake, I played SSFIV last night, had a four bar against someone and it was still lagging. And yet I play Blazblue and barely have problems with the connection.

what i hate about that game is that online the vast majority of players dont even try to play good or get better, they just hit random buttons and cause of the lag they sometimes win. I dont even care if i'm losing to a good player, cause i learn from these matches. But the scrubs really spoil this game for me, you cant even call those matches gameplay.

SSFIV online is actually very playable. From time to time, sure you play people where the input lag makes it tough. That's why you make friends with the people you have a flawless connection with in order to make it an enjoyable experience

Or do you start to block as soon as you see them jump? If someone throws a fireball, do you attempt to just frame block it, or block as soon as you see it?
There's no clutch reaction shit needed, downback is needed. Playing like a smart player is needed.
However, I don't expect DSP to play online like it's EVO. So I don't really have any problem.
