Very good cover. This song has a particular meaning tome since I saw Regina Spekor at Montreux on 07/07/10, the day after her cellist Dan Cho has been found drowned in the lake near Montreux , like the Genius next door. Regina sang this song as the last one in the show and then started to cry and left the scene.

the chords in the chorus (hold in your breath...) don't sound right to me though: instead of playing the same as the verse, I recommend playing this:

Am - Am with a G bass note - F# - G

I'm having some doubts about the second chord, but overall it seems more accurate. Let me know what you think, and keep up the good work.

i'm reaaally in love with this song (and your voice as well! you are very talented). now fact is that i sing as well, a lot. it's what i love the most, and i alway try to figure out chords by ear as well. but i was wondering, if you maybe know the chords you're playing, cause you transposed it (i guess you did?)

I think Regina uses Fm, Bbm, Eb and G# but I guess you know that.

I play it in F#m, Bm, E and A to avoid the Eb which is too high up to sound good (and I don't want to retune my guitar).

Nice way to get rid of the barres anyways.
