Brian, I think Gord once said that this was his mom's favorite song of his... well, I could never pick a "favorite", but I will tell you that this song has such an important message to convey that I have a sign in my law office that says "The house that you live in will never fall down, if you pity the stranger that stands at your door..." That says so much about being an empathetic human being I think; a concept that is so often unfortunately lost to so many of us. Peace and thanks. Rob P.

Best cover of anyone, any where. Both the playing and singing and the look. I'm a few years younger than Gordon and have seen him a few times. Unfortunately, the voice is fading but he's stiil good. He'll never be gone as long as you are around. I listened to as many of your covers as I could find. You do it so easily. thanks for a very pleasant surprise. Spanish Moss was great.

Outstanding! I was looking for a song by Lightfoot (with him singing) and found this. Most people who play Lightfoot songs seem silly because Lightfoot just seems to "own" his songs. But you sound almost exactly like Lightfoot. Great job! It's nice to see that his songs still live in fine artists like you.

You're very kind. That old video was the first video I ever made years ago. I put it up last year just so my daughter (who's son is in the video) could have her friends see it. I used special effect that make it look old but I guess they just made it look lousy! LOL It's a real pleasure to hear you play and sing. Anyone who heard it without seeing you would swear it was Lightfoot and that's a real compliment! Keep up the great playing.

I've been listening to your videos for a while now and I still can't get over how much you sound like Mr. Lightfoot. The vocal resemblance is uncanny.
