The fight is fixed. Referee Cortez suddenly became a WWF referee who forgot to count 1-2-3 first and cannot see that the two fighters were too close to each other to even start the fight. Real scenario: The referee will have both fighters stay in the opposite corner after an intentional headbutt and signal to the official that a point will be deducted away from the fighter that did the headbutt. Then the referee will signal to start the time and let both fighters meet in the middle to fight.

If the ref would have done his job the fight would have lasted longer. The ref said fight time at the worst time, both fighters weren't even in there corners when he said it, Ortiz with very little experience didn't pick up on it. He was to worried about saying sorry to Floyd. Joe Cortez is one of the best referees in the business. And for all you dumb cunts hating on him, you need to stop. He was going to allow Ortiz to recover before he started counting but the commissioner(the guy you saw at ringside whom cortez was looking at) gestured to him that he must start the 10 seconds count. Cortez is known to give people chances and he would have done that in this one too if his boss didn't get involved. Ortiz just needed a little more time to clear his head.

That was the most ridiculous fight I've seen in a long time. Granted, I though mayweather would have had it in the bag whether or not he fought dirty. Only, because ortiz had less fighting experience and the odds were against him. But, where he went wrong was at the end of the third round. Ortiz gave him a hug at the end of the bout kinda as if he was apologizing or at least letting him know that it was a good fight. However, I personally think that Mayweather took that as an insult
