This is bullshit. The kid is surrounded by models of fighter planes hanging in his room that he looks at before bed, and the kids father is feeding him movies of fighter planes being engaged in dog fights, as well as being shot down. The kid even has a you plane he can ride around in. This is all the father's dream, and the wife is cashing in on it. This is a pathetic and fraudualant attempt to cash in, as they use their child. People never seize to stoop to new lows.

Some parents are devious and this is no different. The father coached the kids, and the mother sits back and gets a book written and collects the cash. Nice scheme, happens all the time.

That also goes for the belief that death is the end of everything and for the belief that life is a one off. For reincarnation, on the other hand, there is proof. I agree with you that the sensationalism of tv reporting doesn't touch the core of reincarnation, the continuity of life beyond physical mortality. But these news items will help trigger interest. Some viewers may begin to wonder, they may start reading books like Soul Survivor. Eventually they may start meditating and find the truth of it all, not in media but in themselves and in their connection to someting nameless, great and light .

kolonodale I only have one thing to say. Read, and watch the book or documentary called, "The Tibetan Book of the Dead." Nothing compares to that.

I read it, or at least parts of it. And, being a journalist, I once had a long interview with the Dalai Lama, mostly about reincarnation. He said he was strongly in support of scientific research into the veracity of reincarnation.

To me personally the Leininger case doesn't mean a lot, but I am sure that for many others it will help to raise awareness about something bigger than matter. Best wishes!
