I don't know why Federer has to keep proving all the time that he can beat Nadal. If Nadal can make it to the final only when he's in super form, then that's his problem. Borg was 1-3 lifetime in Slam finals against Mcenroe (he barely one once against John 8-6 in the 5th) and still he's considered better in terms of history.

As much i want Federer to win more slams, i think Andy Murray should win one too, but i think he will...Roger's getting older, Rafa's knees are getting older as well, in time it will be between him, Djokovic, that giant bastard Del Potro and possibly Marin Cilic. Still so proud of Murray and KNOW he will win his breakthrough Slam one day. Fed was tired in the 3rd set after blitzing1 & 2, & Murray should have taken it easily & made a fight of the 4th. Instead he was so shell shocked by the first 2 that he lost his nerve in 3 when a tired Fed showed a slight rally of energy.

I think the people (those in UK mostly) who are against Andy just becasue of the fact that the media praised him too much. Yes, Andy is not Roger, Andy hasn't won a slam, but he works hard, has his talents and personality. U can dislike the media but not the tennis player, he is innocent. I'm a Federer fan, but it was heartbreaking to watch Murray break down during his speech. Being a runner-up at a grand slam is a bittersweet experience, and in Murray's case, it's doubly disappointing because he carries the expectations of the British public.
It was good of Roger to tell him he was too good a player to not win a major, though it kind of rubs in the fact that Murray still has to win a slam.

Still so proud of Murray and KNOW he will win his breakthrough Slam one day. I want it so much ... but not for me, our country, British tennis or anything like that - I want it for him because I don't think there's anything in the world he wants more. Fed was tired in the 3rd set after blitzing1 & 2, & Murray should have taken it easily & made a fight of the 4th. Instead he was so shell shocked by the first 2 that he lost his nerve in 3 when a tired Fed showed a slight rally of energy.
Murray`s team needs get a strategy for these games to compete with those that they`re up against. Fed`s plan was obviously to blitz 1 & 2, rest in the 3rd & then hit it again on the 4th

I think Murray is wayyyyy better than Nadal in many ways!! Nadal has run himself into the ground and will probably be plagued with injuries forever because of it. Murray is a lot more like Federer (game wise), and he just needs to become more aggressive to beat him. I also think Murray has a great sense of humor and does smile a lot! He just lost a grand slam that he could have won, so don't give him a hard time!
