Well yes the 4th gen maximas are pretty light compared to cars of today and they have the most after market support.

95-99 maxima is 190hp 177whp 00-01 have oovi 222hp and the AE maxima is 227 hp and the 02-03 maxima is 255hp 04-08 265hp 09 max is 295hp

it all depends if u get a catback or what not on a 4th gen maxima a aftermarket y pipe will add on about 10 hp to the wheels and intake might even take some power away on the low end

Yeah 4th gen with bolt ons, I.E. intake, FULL exhaust including headers and y-pipe as a 5speed still isnt going to be beating a 02 with intake and catback... It has to do with the IM first of all (intake manifold) - the 00-01 maximas had the bigger intake manifold, hence doing the 00vi swap on the 4th generations - 95-99 maxima = 190hp stock

00-01 maxima = 225hp

02+ is around 265

96 maxima runs like 190 hp stock, it gets in the 15s for 1/4 mi time. a stock 02 gets 14s easy, so you figure if theyre equally modded the 02 is gonna beat the 96 all day.

acura tl does not have 260... maybe to the flywheel but to wheel it is like 210... i have 2000 GLE and i get kicks outa dusting G35's. I will be turboing my maxima soon to start pulling Stage 3 SRT 4's. will definately upload vids.

oh yeaaaah LMAO you are by far the biggest liar ever I'll break it down for oyu you NEVER beated a G35 and you never will you have 3.0 V6 222HP stock which is 8 seconds 0-60 lol unless you have a stick that's 7.5-7.7 seonds my manual 04 TL gets to 0-60 in 5.9 seonds no mods what so ever the type s 5.4 or 5.5 rofl you have to waste so much money for that Trubo it's not even worth it the handling of you maxima is shit I know it cuz I had it that shit sreeches at 20 Mhp

You really should google the spects before you talk. I have a 3.0 222hp And im able to get 0-60 5.something seconds auto. You need to slap yourself fool.

Your auto 5th gen does not do 0-60 in 5.xx seconds unless you are VERY modded. The 5.5 gen 6 speeds CAN do 5.9, but usually do 6.0-6.1 in stock form and they are A LOT faster than the 5th gens..I have an '02 and have cooked off a best of 5.96 0-60 and it's a freak stock car.

Your a dumbass i have a 1996 maxima 5speed with just a short ram intake and it does 0-60 in 6.7 seconds i owned a automatic 97 maxima before this one and it got to 60 in 7.3 seconds do talk that shit if you dont know what you are talking about!
