  • @tsunamiplayer3 think if you listen to it you'll find the answer ...............he's using Grastons latest tool SASTM it's the technique not whether it's stainless steel or some high tech polymer or a gua sha jade tool for FFS does it help your patient? This is for peoples health not a F*** playground ...

Thanks for the INFORMATIVE VIDEO and for bothering to contribute something not including myself takes the time to do, very easy to take a quick cheap swipe though...;-)

  • what's with the purple dildo where are the normal graston tools...

  • Over-explaining a bit.

  • This was literally the ONLY thing that healed tendonitis in my left patella tendon. I tried resting for months, cortisone shots, stretching, and form rehab. NONE of this worked. After having 4 separate treatments, the tendonitis was gone. I HIGHLY recommend this for soft tissue injuries. Works great on the lower back too.

  • まあ、大体解るが目的が通常のマッサージと違うのね。

  • next time less talking..

  • My concerns:

I would be pleasantly suprised if you were able to support this treatment with empirical, high-quality, randomised controlled trials, or indeed any other form of robust evidence (not case reports), particularly with your "30% stronger" claim.

  • Yes!!!

Gua sha; TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine). Just another example of how the west, historically, steals ancient practices/knowledge/traditions, etc. Puts a patent on it, claims ownership and takes the credit ;-\ Distortion; yuck!

  • @D9nTheSun: In my personal opinion tissue assisted mobilization is inspired by gua sha and there are similarities in doing it, but in theory both are very different. In Gua sha it's mainly - as in acupuncture - about meridians and the blockage of them. In western medicine (and TAM) meridians and "blocked energy channels" are not real and it's about the tissue itself.

It's the same with a western (swedish) massage vs. shiatsu & tuina: The theory behind it is a very different one.

  • Yes. Gua Sha is where soft tissue assisted mobilization came from. A brilliant repackaging effort.

  • Gua Sha.
